"I'm a super skeptical guy. An I admit I was nervous at first sending my phone in. But travis kept me updated everytime I emailed ,I got a quick response back. I sent my phone in on a Tuesday an was paid the following Saturday. An the payment was really fare. So I had a very good encounter. I would 100 percent do this again with them.,an I probly will. "
"I sent in my Samsung Note 2 and Galaxy 4.
I listed them as GOOD - no issue with either screens and after there inspections told that there is a burn in offer is now $10 less than original offer.Did not want to take a chance on them shipping me a switched device so no headache we took the offer.
We are very meticulous with the care of our devices and We know what we sent was good with no screen issue.
Seller beware"
"Second time using Thewhizcells.com. The process is easy, quick and convenient. For the convenience, they provide a good value for not having to deal with trying to sell the phone on my own, which I know would probably net more money. Using this process is just so much easier and totally worth it."
"I sent my phone before I had it ready for it to be unlocked from carrier so it was returned to me until I take care of it
"
"Very easy and quick process. Value was competitive."
"Quick pricing and fast payment. All the way around an easy transaction."
"Checked out the site, got a good deal on my LG G6, accepted the deal and received my package in no time. Shipped it off and got my check for the phone in least then a week. Simply excellent! I will do business with TheWhizCells again."
"Very easy process. Money paid quickly. Would use again."
"Whiz cell is very easy to use and if you follow their instructions, transactions can be completed in less than week."
"I received $400.00 for my two iPhone 7s. Full offered price for one in excellent condition and half for one that was still under contract."
"Easy process to register. Very fast customer service response to emailed questions. "
"I quoted a cell phone buy back through thewhizcells.com, they offered me $65. I sent them a working, used cell phone. I had recently upgraded and was pleasantly surprised that my old phone was worth something to someone. After they received it they graded it as broken and revised their offer to $5. I declined their offer since I had been using the phone up until the day before I sent it to them. Upon receiving my phone back I found that it would no longer power on or charge. When I contacted them about it they said that it was not their fault and said that all they do to test them is power them on. In their report they stated that it had randomly shut down after boot up. Obviously it was in better condition when they got it then when I got it back if it would boot at all. Unless all you want is $5 for your phone, don't send it to these guys."
“We are sorry that you are unhappy. All we did was press the power button and the phone did not work. We then packaged it back up and sent it back to you. ”
"I entered accurate information about my old phone and accepted the quote then shipped out. They sent the money quickly. "
"I shopped around and found Whiz Cells gave the highest dollar with the easiest to use website to complete orders. I would recommend them to anyone looking to turn old phones into cash!"
"Even though they changed the amount of money they were willing to pay me for the phone, they were very open and honest about it. Communication and speed were awesome!"
"Sold an iPhone 6+ with cracked glass. Sale was executed flawlessly and quickly. Description of phone condition could have been more precise up front, as the Whiz found additional damage than was reported when I tried to sell directly to my carrier, ATT. Net was that the Whiz paid only $10 more than ATT offered. Still, the execution was flawless and I received my check on time. All communication and timelines for the return of the phone went without a hitch. I'd use them again."
A rep from Thewhizcells.com, TheWhizCells, has responded:
“Hi Enrique,
We would have been happy to have sent you pictures of the burned in image. Screen burn is very common in Samsung phones and especially older models like the Note 2 and S4. It is nothing you would have done to the phone. The refresh rate is not high enough to keep the home screen image from burning into the background of the LCD. Unfortunately it does affect the value of the phone. We do not swap phones and I know you did not mean it to be personal but that would be offensive if we did. It is simply not a business practice that we would do. And honestly, it is not one that we even could do with the way our operation works. If you ever want a phone back, you will get back what you sent. Thank you for giving us a chance and I am sincerely sorry you were not happy. Perhaps we will be able to help again in the future and it will be smooth. Have a blessed day.”
