"Updated: Shortly after I sent this review in (but before it was posted), Customer Service did get back to me and were very helpful! I'm still happy with my store credit option and still plan to shop with them again! Original Review: I loved 3 out of the 4 things I purchased. However, the 4th item was actually a kid's dress, not a woman's! So, naturally, I returned it. I also sent thredUP's customer support an email regarding this issue. I got an automated response that said they would respond in 1-2 business days. 4 days later, I've yet to receive a response! I indicated in my email that I wasn't upset and that I was happy to receive a store credit for the item, because I figured I would purchase from them again, but now I'm a little irritated with their lack of response."

Because returning an item or items generates a costly fee that comes out of a refund, Treadup discourages customers from trying new brands/styles where sizing can be an issue, and encourages buyers to keep something they'd prefer to return. Your minimum purchase for free shipping also is high, compared to other online retailers."
