"My first issue with the company was that they offer several promotions and list no stipulations when they award them - I was given $10 for being referred to the site by a friend, and a 40% off email promotion for my first purchase. Additionally, as I was using the Samsung Galaxy app, it said nothing about only being able to use one promotion at a time. Plenty of places don't let you stack coupons, but they let you know ahead of time, not just prevent the code from applying at checkout and display it like an error. I emailed about it and got a polite "sorry!" and passed on that purchase.
I later found something to spend my $10 off on, a cardigan listed as "like new" on the website. It arrived with a decent stain on the inside button placket - by the throat, so it would show if I wore it - and missing a button (and they're distinctive, so it's not going to be easy to replace). Hardly new condition, and definitely not worth the price I paid, even after the discount. Suspiciously, when I looked back to double check the listed condition before I made a complaint with them, it is no longer listed anywhere I can access. Their return policy is also either full store credit or a $9 return shipping fee, so it's not worth dealing with.
It is unlikely I will buy from them again, and I would caution others to be wary of the condition claims before considering a purchase. Most of their stuff strikes me as overpriced even if they are in the condition they claim."

"If ThredUp could put a better product description on their clothing items it would be much easier to shop with them. The actual product is almost never like the product description and color online and many times the product doesn't list the fabric. HOw simple would it be to at least list the color of the item! Yet ThredUP doesn't do that! Why? My recent purchase was a huge disappointment. I sent a note to thred up to ask for a full refund instead of a credit (as I didn't want to pay to ship back an item that wasn't as it appeared online) but never received a response. I used to be a loyal customer but getting very disenchanted with the company now. Will post my concerns on social media as well since I never received a response from the company. I called and sent an email with no response. "

"I received my order much faster than I did in the past, and it arrived in excellent condition. I was very pleased with the selection of apparel I order, too. Some are strictly for wearing during cooler weather, which it currently is not; It's been extremely, but pleasantly warm IMHO.
