"I had an excellent shopping experience with ThriftyComputer! Service and phone support were great, and my purchase arrived just as expected (they've got email tracking). Their prices were amazingly competitive... from what I found, amongst the lowest on the web. I'll definitely be making future purchases with their company. "
"My product arrived very late ~ a Motorola Razr V3. I wrote and received e-mails from the owner of Thrifty Computer regarding this issue, and he has replied that he will be implementing UPS (or Fed Ex) in order to be able to verify tracking and receive a signature of receipt of product from the client.
My Motorola Razr V3 did arrive, but about 10 days late....it is a new product, and in good condition.
I hope that Thrifty Computers does not delay in implementing shipping procedures with UPS (or Fed Ex), which would give both Thrifty Computers and the client better tracking means."
"After not recieving item (blamed on USPS) seller shipped item 1st class USPS which arrived in 5 business days. Seller did correct error. Item perfect condition."
"(Since this was written I got in touch with the owner and everything was ironed out. I even got the Jawbone at the original price even though it had gone up since I ordered. It came in the package just as advertised and was perfect! I'm hoping the customer service will continue to improve.)
I ordered a silver jawbone 2 from Thrifty computer on 12/15/08. I waited for the 72 hours for them to post my shipping information. It was never posted. I began to email and call them. First I was told when I called that USPS was overloaded and it was causing a delay for the posting. A couple of days later, via email I found out that it was not USPS but their company that had the problem. The silver was out of stock, and asked would I like black instead. I could have ordered black in the first place at a good price and now it was too late to order anything for Christmas. They claim that they didn't lie to me about the USPS another lie. After Christmas my husband said that black would be OK so I took them up on the offer for the black, but now the price was several dollars more on Google. I was told that there was no way to charge me the original price because of the way Google check out works. Through Google checkout to let me purchase it for the original price would be impossible.
This “company” is very unprofessional, incompetent, and doesn’t care about their reputation. I will never order a thing from them again an dwould never recommend them to anyone. They are very shady. Is this a real business? Apparently the owner is deaf, or so I was told by "Eli" so I can’t talk to him. Then I was told they didn't have to reveal his name so I couldn't even email him directly. Which one is true? I say neither. What a crock. I ended

"Thrifty Computer has refunded my amount for the below purchase in full.thanks
===============================
i had ordered Motorola Razr V3 Black Unlocked GSM Quadband Cell Phone. it was one of worst purchase i have ever made. Not only was the i given a used phone(to frank looking at the quality i really suspect the fake one) , on enquiring ways to return this i was given no response. they dont a person whom you call and talk to ."
"Really fast in service... no issues so far."
"Item was ordered December 15th with "Super Fast 2-3 days USPS Priority shipping" An extra $8 charge. However, this item was not actually shipped until December 24th and then it was shipped 1st class and not Priority Shipping. Very disappointing but nothing compared to the fact that this item was sold as "Brand New" and had scratches and someone else's contacts still in the phone book. The inside of the phone had the water damage indicators scratched off and the SIM card slot had a massive gouge in it. I emailed ThriftyComputer and am awaiting a decision from them because they want me to pay return postage. Needless to say, I SHALL NEVER do business with thriftycomputer ever again."
"Slow shipping due to mis-routing of package to wrong address. Seller made every effort to make things right. Replied promptly to e-mails."
"I recieved my headset in a zip lock bag. It is suppose to be new. I had trouble with it so I returned it for a replacement. Weeks and weeks went by with no reply to my repeated e-mails. Then they satrted to lie. "It has been sent" they said twice! Each time they came back with excuses and more lies. I think they just wanted me to go away and were willing to wait me out. I wouldn't go. Someone said they called them on the phone and spoke with them. This is totally not true as there is no phone number listed on the web site. When they gave me a number via e-mail to call I did. It went straight to a voice mail box which was full so couldn't even leave a message. These people have absolutly no desire to do anything more than take your money for their products. No Customer Service to speak of. They definately know how to say "Sorry", just nothing else."
"Ordered a cell phone and received the phone without a battery. It took several days (3 phone calls and 2 e-mails) to finally get an acknowledgement (both via phone and e-mail) that there was an issue. Seller told me that a battery was being shipped on 12/18. The battery was apparently delivered to the wrong location on 12/20 (Florida rather than Texas). I e-mailed the seller with the fact that the battery was not delivered and after an apparent failed second attempt to mail a battery to me, finally a new battery was delivered on February 2, 2009. The seller provided a tracking number for the battery shipment that was delivered to the incorrect Florida location but the next 2 attempts at delivery did not include any tracking info (the last of which was successful). In all I got 9 e-mails from the seller some responding to my questions and others asking about battery delivery. I am happy that we finally got the order completed, but of course disappointed that it took so long. The seller did offer me a discount on my next purchase from them."
"Prices are very reasonable, merchandise easy to find, and delivery very courteous. I'm buying here again!"
"fast shipping great customer service i called the guy on the phone and he help me with my purchase it was a great experience and great deal"
"Very slooooooowwwwwww shipment process, I place the order on december the 1st, received the invoice on december the 4th, and not until december the 8th I received notification of shipment, on december the 12th I placed a review and send a complain through email to Thrifty Computer, and surely, they expedited the process, received my package on monday the 15th.
Still, I think they really need to improve their order processing process, if you want your items really soon, as you would expect paying a 2nd-day shipment, look somewhere else, if you are in no hurry, go ahead, place your order since you will save some money."
"I ordered two cell phones and was very upset when after three weeks I had not received them. I was able to determine that the Post Office was indeed at fault and could not find the phones. I finally recovered the phones and must say that Thrifty was very patient with me and offered solutions when we thought that it was a high possiblity the phones were lost for good.
The phones are fantastic, in great condition and I am happy that I chose this vendor, especially after the support they provided when times gor rough! It seems to me that most of the complaints are about the shipping time - which I think is the US Postal Service. I am hoping that Thrifty will look into a better postal service. I would definatley use them again - providing I didn't have to ship through USPS. "
"I accidentally purchased a phone that was not compatable with my metro pcs service,I contacted thrifty via email and the very kindly explained how to return the item,I did and within 5 days I had my refund waiting for me in paypal, awesome company,i recommend, they are honest and have great products and cust service.I forgot to mention that the phone i received was really nice,to bad I couldn't use it,thanks for everything though!"
