"Overall I'd consider myself satisfied, but it was only after pestering the company for shipment/information regarding my order.

I ordered this product from the ThriftyComputer website, but heard nothing from them (no confirmation, shipping info, etc) for over a week. I finally contacted them asking for a shipping confirmation, and received an email two days later saying that it would ship the next day. I immediately replied and asked for a confirmation when it shipping, then waited with no reply for another two days. I emailed again, threatening with a PayPal dispute, and got a hastily written apology describing a mixup between my order and an order from another customer for the same product, saying that my order had been temporarily cancelled in the mix up but that it would ship the next day. I waited again for two more days, without receiving any confirmation on shipment, then opened a paypal dispute. This was two and a half weeks after I placed the order and paid for priority shipping.

Again it took a day or two for them to respond to the dispute, which they finally did with a insulting email and a shipping tracking number. It took another 5 days for my product to arrive, but it came as stated on the site. "

- Over 72 hours before I received a shipping notice (vendor claimed laptop quit).
- Website advertises "Super fast 2-3 day USPS Priority Shipping!" but my product was sent First Class mail.
- Vendor is in Florida according to website, but product shipped from Brooklyn NY?!
- Product not in any kind of official Motorola packaging, so how can one distinguish from a refurbished or open-box product? (website states new bulk, but seems like should still use a Motorola-labeled bag vs plain ziploc bag)
- Manual not included despite website saying it was. Had to download from vendor website.

Overall, still very satisfied but a little concerned as I did not have to rely on customer service, and I fear it may be less than satisfactory."

I ordered June 29, just received it today, July 14th. It was four days before I even got a reply to my numerous inquiries, then Priority (Super fast 2 day shipping on website)apparently took 10 days.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE AGAIN.

I don't think the guy ever sees the product before it's shipped. I believe he is out of Miami, but my product was shipped from Brooklyn. Yet he gave me "his word" that it was shipped, how did he know? I can see shipping was paid for on 7/4, but the Post Office states that it doesn't mean that the product was actually picked up then. If I would have known, I would have paid the extra cost on another site and got a NEW product (I could see on the box where these had been opened previously and re-sealed).

When I demanded a refund, I was told to "Send em back when you get them, thats the best I can do, sorry." --HOWS THAT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE????

"I ordered Plantronic Bluetooth headset, not one, but three of them all together because of the price the store offered. I was a little disappointed at first because of the loose packing; it looked like a second hand, used product. Also, it took a week to be shipped.
But the real thing started when I tried using them. All three of them didn't work.
First, the owner responded to all my emails guiding me through the possible troubleshooting. But, when he realized that it's a DOA, I haven't received any emails about how can I get my money back; even when I m ready to ship these back on my own expense.
Its a little frustrating not to have a telephone number to contact this site.

"I would avoid this seller at all costs! I placed an order on 6/6/08 for an item that had five listed as being in stock. My credit card was charged immediately. It is now 6/17/08 and the item hasn't shipped. I have sent two e-mail inquiries with no response. I have also called the "hidden" phone number available through Google checkout five times. Four calls were not answered at all. One time a teenage girl answered with noise in the background. It sounded like a person's home. She said her brother ran Thrifty Computer and he would send me an e-mail. I still have heard nothing. I'm calling my credit card company today to try to reverse my payment. This company is either a sham or run very poorly."
