"Purchased A80 canon, used my credit card, and they cancel order on me without even notifying me. There is no question about not having fund on card, thousands available. But I'm from Canada.? When you order however I've even paid for extra shipping to Canada.
It tells me that company has no Integrity!

"Beware of the tactics this company is using to either sell you overpriced accessories or get rid of your order.
I have placed and order on November 5th. Shortly after I've received an e-mail asking me to call the company to confirm my order. When I did I was told that their working hours 9 - 5 and I should call next day. To my surprise I've got the call that evening, around 8PM, from their sales person who explained me that the information I was given about business hours wasn't correct. Though Bill was polite, he still was trying to sell me their accessories - I don't blame him it is his job. On Thursday I have approved the charge to my credit card and I was told that the item would be shipped on Friday. On Monday it still wasn't shipped. When I called they assured me that it would be on its way by the end of the day. Tuesday - my order still in shipping status. When I called again, Karina told me that they have thousands of items to process and it is not a big deal for me to wait. A few minutes later she told me (I had a sense she just wanted to get rid of me) that my item will be shipped that evening. Guess what - comes Thursday my order still in shipping status. When I called back to cancel the order, nobody cared for the reason I'm doing that. It looked like they used to it and there is some kind of red flag (this term was used by one of their representatives) marking the orders of people who wants just the camera without their add-on accessories.

"I just received my Sony Mini DV (DCR-PC105). Price was good and customer service was very friendly. After I told the them I was going to buy the unit, they started asking me if I wanted accessories. He started giving me package deals, ex: tapes, carry case, filters, etc. I finally agreed in buying a case and a filter and everything else went smoothly. Only thing is I was looking on the SONY box and the bar code sticker was ripped off, but everything is brand new and in working condition."

"I had the same experience as the previous post. This company is a total scam. They make up rules and policies as they go, they are not dependable at all. As an update to my previous post, It is now mid november (I made a purchase in mid august) and I finally heard from a third party mediator hired by TopChoiceDigital to resolve the issue of replacing the defective memory card they sent me. I refused to cooperate because it has been 4 months since I last brought up this issue. In the 4 months I had already purchased another memory card because I had gotten no responce from them. The point is, it took a very negative review both on this site and on ebay for them to initiate any kind of compensation. They again tried to have me cooperate in resolving this issue and offered to give me "free" lcd screen protectors. I don't need cheap lcd sticker protectors that i can easily purchase for around $1. I asked them to send me a prepaid envelope so that I can return the memory card. They refused and closed the case. I think I was being very reasonable. They deserve the terrible feedbacks that they are getting. "

"THey tell you that Customer Satisfaction is their top priority and they are very serious about that! I had some mix-ups with my order and they went all out to take care of it to my satifcation. They even called to let me know when the first order (which had gone awry, due to UPS) came back to be credited. I will definitely buy from them in the future. In fact, TopChoice will be my FIRST choice for my digital eqipment from now on."

"Won an aution on ebay for a video cam package. Peter Lucas of TopChoice called and worked to upsell me, which is OK. I agreed to buy an extra battery for the video camera.

At delivery, I recieved an inferrior video cam bag that was not what was advertised. The advertise one was about $59 on their web site, the bag sent was $15 on Amazon.com. The extra battery sent was not what I ordered. Calling TopChoice and speaking with Peter I was rudely treated, told the battery I got was better(it was not) and that the bag was the same as what was advertised. Not a good experience, poor attitude by Peter. Then he wants me to pay to ship back THEIR MISTAKES.

On the next call I spoke with Douglas Jones at extension 214. He understood the video cam bag issue and offered to send another one out and stated that TopChioce has run out of the other and substituted and they would make it right. Also the package I bought did not mention that an adapter was needed for the additional lenses to fit the video cam. Douglas said they would be glad to send that also. I still had to deal with Peter regarding the battery.

Calling Peter back, I knew it was him by his demeanor and rudeness. He agreed to send the battery without my returning the other one first, but would have to charge my credit card and would credit it back later when the battery was returned. Not quite the customer service I would hope for given their three mistakes.

The video package was a good deal. The hassles of dealing with Peter did not make the deal worth it. Had I received Douglas as a sales rep it probably would have been a good experience.

"This seller states having an item in stock, but actually does NOT. They showed no sign of actually completing my order, and I was bounced around repeatedly to various agents before I was able to find an answer to "what is the status of my order." Two weeks later, still nothing, still backordered -- yet website still says "in stock. Order has been cancelled. I'm going elsewhere next time. "

"I had no real problem with Top Choice Digital, PayPal was the issue. I had initial problems getting PayPal to send them the money because even though PayPal said my address was "Confirmed," it did not show up as such to Top Choice Digital (they only accept money from confirmed addresses, even if it is in PayPal bucks). I re-confirmed my address with a credit card on PayPal, and everything went smoothly. I resolved it over the phone, and everything was great.

One thing that was a little unclear was that the "confirmed" PayPal address does not necessarily equate to the "Shipping Address" you are allowed to type into Top Choice Digital's Invoice when you win the auction. I was pleasantly surprised when my stuff arrived at my office rather than my home. This again was partly due to the confirmed address confusion.

Your confirmed PayPal address might be different than the shipping address you give to Top Choice Digital. What wasn't clear at the time is which one takes prescedent (TCD's shipping address does).

I was also a little disappointed to see that the batteries were generic even though they indicated they were for my Olympus C5050z. If they just said "Quick Charger and AA batteries for the following digital cameras..." it would have been better. Also customer service said that the batteries that came with the camera were disposable. They aren't, so I have 3 sets of extra batteries now (not a bad thing, but I bought the extra set because they were supposed to be disposable).
