Sells products it is not willing to ship

"Would not sell me a battery after paid for it. Waited 5 days and they cancelled my order.

Why did you sell me something you know you can't ship? Why can't you ship it? Other online retailers are able to ship batteries.

Takes advantage of people

"I recently ordered an item for my Toyota for the amount of $337.51 (tax and shipping included). I had to return the part few days after receiving the item and I was told there is a 35% restocking fee. That said, I returned the item anyway but when he reimbursed my money, he only reimbursed $193.43

Watson mentioned he was detecting 35% for restocking fee however, but he only returned $193.43 out of the amount of $337.51 (tax and shipping included) which equates to 42.69% and that doesn't include the $20 for shipping I paid for the return.

Recap: 
I paid total of $357.51 ($337.51 for the part + $20 for shipping it back)
He only returned $193.43 (42.69% of $337.51 even though he stated only deducting 35% of restocking fee)

So, in total I lost $164.08 (almost half of what I paid for)

What I don't understand is that the policy states there is a charge of 35% restocking fee even though dealerships charge 5% - 10% but yet he decided to charge %42.69. Is he making up numbers as he feels like or he just likes taking advantage of people who make an honest living?

This isn't acceptable and I would like an explanation why he deducted 42.69% of my money?

Poor Communication.

"They lack the proper communication skill to ensure the customer is aware of the status of their order.
I had to try to call 4 times, and got the answering service each time, and send emails after a week of no status updates. But they are quick to take your money.

They sell parts they don't have and keep your money untill you ask for it.

"Please make yourself a favor and read all 1 star messages which are mostly for parts they don't have but still sell them online.
Also call their phone number to find out for yourself that nobody will ever answer it or reply to your messages. Also they won't reply to your emails except when asking for a refund and get this short reply "I have cancelled this order and issued a full refund" They won't send you the part and won't refund until you take action.

This fraud company cost me $600 for buying another part that now I can't use without the part they claimed they had. After waiting for a month it turned out they don't have it. To extend the life of my 23 year old Avalon I needed two parts that are assembled together. I purchased both parts but the one they don't have made the other one useless. And I can't find that part anywhere else, they were the only store selling it. If I new they don't have that part I wouldn't order the other part. Initially I was so happy to find them as the only store selling this part and was hoping I will extend the life of my car but what a disappointment this turned out to be when I realized I still have to ditch my car anyway and on top of that with a loss of $600 for buying a part I won't be able to use.

Toyotapartsdirect.ca was a painful and horrible experience.

Stuck with wrong part!

"Ordered two front emblems for my 2 Toyota cars. One was right, the other was wrong. Tried to install & one of the tabs broke got back to customer service & was told it was the wrong part & this part was garbage now & im stuck with it. The mistake was on your part & I have to pay for it. Not right! Will never deal with again!"
