"I've always considered UPS to be a reputable company having very little issues with them in the past. But, my latest episode made up for that 10 folds. My bank felt the need to replace my card. Taking precaution they shipped it UPS to ensure a signature. Where I reside is a secure building that requires a residence to have a key to get into the building. Delivery company are required to dial the call box and the office will buzz them in. I later learned that this is a standard rule / knowledge for the delivery companies. Needless to say my UPS driver was the exception as he lacked common sense in this area.
On 4/16/2018, after a very long and exhausting day I found on my door the very 1st notice. To my surprise it was marked-"final attempt." Needless to say this was NOT the case. Long story short, after speaking with multiple representatives including 2 supervisors. I never experience such incompetency. As no one had the ability to resolve what should be a simple issue instead for each person I spoke with the problem became worse not better.
Such as, my inability to pick up the letter (not a package) base on the sender's stipulations. Still unable to understand the purpose behind this because in my mind, whether I pick it up or they deliver it I would still be required to sign for it... this did not seem to matter to them as they continue to work against me verses working with me. They indicated that I would need to call the sender, hoping that they would have a direct number/department. They gave me a company name that I did not recognize but, I had a feeling that they were acquainted with my bank, either way they indicated that they are unable to give me the phone number. To my amazement and frustration I asked how am I suppose to rectify this problem if all you are providing are problems? I was told that they would make another attempt in 2 days, Monday at 12pm. I tried working out another time because like millions of us, I'm at work at 12pm. I was told by the supervisor that he would put notes to accommodate. The next day, it was clear that this did not happen, as I had to start all over again with this new person.
In the end, I found myself having to rush home as I was told at the last minute that they would be at my place by 2pm, according to the driver upon being dispatched. I made arrangements to have my daughter picked up from school as that is the time she gets out of school. I was home by 1pm, after waiting over an hour and UPS was a no show. I called UPS for them to tell me that he showed up at 2:07pm. Again I was baffled as I've been waiting on the sofa by the door and there was no knock and no notice on my door. They claimed he already left the area and that I can go to the UPS location to pick up my letter (not a package- this is to show how the nightmare was bigger than the item pending) as the driver should be back to the facility by 7-7:30pm, I arrived at 7:15pm, the rudest representative at the Hollywood Center made it clear that the driver is not back yet and that he will not arrive until 8pm. She did not express if I needed to wait indoors or outdoors, the driver's name, or anything . So, I went back to my car and waited for approximately 10 minutes. I went back in as the center was about to closed at 7:30pm. I asked her for the driver's name / truck #. She told me to hold on and that she planned and getting it to me. When was this going to happen? As she initially allowed me to go back to my car the 1st time due to no directives from her. I addressed her lack of customer service and bad attitude. All I remember hearing her say is that she did not care if I left and that she would've came out to me bring me all the information pertaining to the driver. Again, I was supposed to know this, HOW????.
My luck, "my very special driver" had to be one of the last ones to show up which puts him at 8pm, the time my child needed to be in bed as it was a school night. I was anything but happy. He was like all the other employees I've dealt with:e rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic. The 2 days dealing with UPS was the worse ever!!!
Funny enough, I guess it took my nightmare for UPS to gain common sense because, I notice that whenever the same driver shows up to my building the next day, he finally figured out how to use the call box to be buzzed in by the office. I'm in NO RUSH to deal with them again, if I never had to I'll be soooooooooooo happy!!!
If you feel that this review was long and exhausting -so do I. But, this gives you a small taste of what I had to go through for 2 days with (U) n- (P) rofessional- (S) ervice... Don't ask what BROWN can do for you instead ask, what Brown CANNOT do for you???

"I work for a company called Cleveland auto parts #2. We shipped out a engine by UPS to baltimore. The shipment was held due to an error on the billing of lading and we were charged $125.00, We paid the error fee on wed and my client was expecting the package on thurs. i Called on friday and i was told that the package was not delivered yet and they wont give me a guarantee on when my package will be shipped. UPS is not only wasting our money but ruining my relationship with my clients. They do not care about their customers at all."
"Today at 5:30pm I came to this location looking to purchase a box and possible utilize there shipping service. Unfortunately that didn’t happen, the item I brought in had been bubble, However the owner DAVID HOLLANDER inform that they allow packing inside store which I found strange That he would mention that to me when I only came to purchase a box especially when I walking there was a customer doing exactly what he jut inform me they didn’t allowed. Packing item!!!! Meanwhile what offended me was the fact that he assume that I wanted something that I didn’t instead of presenting me the the option. When I told him he shouldn’t assume things about people he refuse to sell me a BOX. I never been to this location and never will go back again. "
"UPS has been a nightmare over the years but this recent experience takes the cake. They lost a custom made $1000 item that I paid almost $300 to ship and they refuse to start an investigation. The item tracking was never scanned from day 1 and its already two days late. Their customer srrvice has no idea where it is and wont investigate until after it's lost for another day even though its been lost for 8 days and counting. FedEx here I come. "

"It’s too bad you have to give at least 1 star as I would give 0 if I couuld. After jumping through many hoops to get a package delivered to a rural community. (Which is a smaller town, not the moon like UPS thinks) I happened to bump into the guy delivering packages and he helped me out more than any outsourced Employee did over the phone. You talk to them and they aren’t even people, ROBOTS!! “Sir you will have to wait 1-2 business days for our dispatch department to resolve the case” swear I’ve heard that Same line 10 times over the last 6 phone calls. Will NEVER order from UPS again I hope this company sinks Into the ground sooner than later as that me where it’s heading"

I HAVE LOST MY 40,000 INR ALONG WITH APPROX 1 LAKH INR BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THAT PARCEL NOT RECEIVED IN TIME.

UPS.com in India has cheated and is a big example of fraud, they have given me a commitment that they will be delivering the parcel to my office on 5th February 2018, unfortunately till today i am struggling to get my parcel in place.
because of this reason I have already lost $5000 and going through a severe mental stressed condition.
Please can you raise the voice and get it sorted out at the earliest.

"I've been going through the same issue for the past 6 months. They NEVER deliver packages. They bring packages straight to a pick up point. Then we have to drive and pick it up. No attempt was ever made to deliver packages. The driver doesn't even load most packages on the truck. Just leaves a note on the door telling you to pick it up. NEVER rings or knocks on the door. The guy who worked this route a year ago was such a true professional. The guy now is lazy. When I asked him why he wasn't delivering packages, he wouldn't answer. Then he had the audacity to say, "I guess if you want your package you'll pick it up". This guy needs to be fired!"
"I spent almost 2 hours on chat trying to print a shipping label. I talked with 5 different people on chat. I had to redo everything 3 times, including paying for my shipment. At the end, I discovered that UPS has a new web site with known issues! I finally was able to resolve my issue by using the "Classic" web site to input my information. You need to take your new web site off line it is terrible."
