During my phone order, I was pressured at least three times to buy additional items that I did not want, including a "Smart Savers Package" for $79.99. I repeatedly told the man I did not want these items. My intent was to order only a Canon 40D camera body and a Canon 70-200/2.8 IS lens. But I was concerned to receive my camera equipment before a trip we were leaving on in two weeks. It was communicated that if I bought the additional items, my order would be shipped out that day. If I didn't, that might not happen. The unwanted items I ordered, under duress, included a polarizer filter, lens cleaning fluid and tissue, another battery, another charger, a camera strap, and a neck strap. I asked the person about the negative customer reviews I had read of his company. He responded that they were the result of other reps who were rude and discourteous, but that he wasn't that way. At the time, when I received my camera and telephoto zoom, I was euphoric over having them in advance of my trip. But since then, five months ago, I have made multiple orders of camera equipment from other companies, and not with US1photo because of my experience with this one order."
"Order placed Jan 9th for new cannon mark 5 body 2- received nothing; no notification, when you call, they keep you on hold for 30 minutes and keep on switching you to "manager", "customer service" etc. but all of them are useless and have terrible attitude. I called in advance to see if they have it in stock - the answer was yes.... It is a bunch of liers/scammers. I am surprised the credit card companies have not gotten a hag of it.
I will buy at a different store and hit them for the difference in price in a small claims court."

"I ordered a Rebel Xsi camera on Thursday the 22nd. By Monday evening I still had not got a shipping invoice or email from the company. So I emailed them Monday night and did receive a response the next morning saying " Please call due to the high value of your order. There have been a high rate on internet crimes lately due to the weaking economy". I though OK, so I called and left a message. About an hour later a US1photo called me back and told me the item was out of stock and wouldn't be in for 1 1/2 weeks. I thought, for the price I could wait to receive my item. I told the man thank you and hung up. When I got to work, about 1 1/2 later I got another email saying that "Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your order from US1 Camera. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen shortage in our supply of merchandise from our wholesalers, many of whom have been affected by today's weakened economy, we have to cancel your order. We are very sorry for this inconvenience. You were not billed and will not be billed in the future for this purchase. Again, we apologize and thank you for your patience and understanding. Sincerely Management US1 Camera". The communication was horable and nobody told me what was going on. I don't necessarily believe they are scamers, but just horable at doing business. I went to B&H photo, and spent the extra $100 dollars to buy from somebody that I could trust & I know has great customer services and shipping times."

Order a camera at a good price, got the email from "Bruce" saying that what I had ordered was an import model with a small battery. He wanted me to pay $75 more for a battery. "29 Jan 09 Update - Customer service saw my review; contacted me; apologized for the mix-up; and sent a 2GB SD card for my troubles when I told them I bought the camera some where else...they are making an effort so I've upgraded my rating to 3 stars.
25 Jan 09 - Doesn't honor orders (as stated by other reviewers). I placed my order on 15 Jan 09. After hearing nothing for two weeks (and their online price increasing) I emailed them. They responded that my order was canceled due to "no supply"; however, their website still shows the item as "in stock". In short, the price increased and they didn't want to honor the order."
