"I placed my order on a Thursday evening and got a message from them on Friday morning, followed by a phone call. When they said that their free shipping would get me the camera in 8 to 10 days, I upgraded to 2-Day. Then I saw my order for a Nikon D700 body retained in their warehouse for the entire Monday, following week. I called to cancel the order; they said it had already been shipped. Got an e-mail from them: they upgraded the shipping to Next-Day and it came one day earlier. In short, their customer service is fairly patient, but their shipping department is not as good. On the other hand, the price was VERY convenient, so consider these factors when ordering. In fact, it may be better to order by phone instead (long waits, be aware). Overall, though, I must admit they treated me well, but only after I complained."

"VERY upset at the "customer service" i received from this store.

I placed a order for a LCD TV on November 7 & purchased the 4-6 business days shipping method. On Novemebr 10th the price dropped $70! I called customer service to see if I could get a price adjustment was told I couldnt since my item had already "shipped" Said fine I understand. November 12th I still had not received a shipped emial or a tracking # so I called the customer service line to inquire. Spoke with Kevin. He explained to me that its 4-6 business days PLUS processing time which it DOES NOT say when you select your shipping method. I made a suggestion that he should update his website to inculde the processing time so people wont get upset, he said he would tell his manager.(come to find out he IS the manager) I mentioned how I called on Monday and was told it was shipped and thats why I couldnt get a price match and he told me it must have been an error on the website that they dont sell them that cheap. Told me my TV would be delivered on Nov. 21! Thats 10 business days not 4-6! He started YELLING at me. I do not have enough room here to write his whole rant but he was the rudest person I have EVER talked to in customer service. I finally had enough of his rudenss and told him goodbye. He imediately called me back at work and asked if I wanted to cancel my order. I told him I did not and to ship my TV and not to call me again because he was rude. He imediately called me back AGAIN and told me he was canceling my order! I was furious, knowing it was going to take FOREVER to get a refund and then have to purchase a TV somewhere else. I called back and spoke to Shawn who transfred me to Kevin...Kevin apoligized for how he treated me and said my order had not been canceled. Said that they get over 200 calls daily wondering where there order is and he was upset(hence my sugestion for the added verbage regarding processing)
Who does business like this?
I will NEVER shop here again and will not refer anyone to them. It is true you get what you pay for. The price was cheaper then the store but I paid the price in service.

UPDATE Nov 14th. Called back today to check again on the status of my order and was told they still do not have a tracking number. I canceled the order after a short discussion with Shawn about the misleading statements on their website. On a side notw while I was on hole the message played saying "Free ground shipping takes 7-9 business days before arriving at your door" Thats the FREE I upgraded my shipping and wasnt going to have it till 10-12 business days. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

"I am extremely dissatisfied with this reseller. I ordered a Sony Alpha DSLRA700H package. US1Camera sent me a Canon lens and a Sony Alpha DSLRA700, which is not the same by any stretch of the imagination. A DSLR-H is a prebundled package and that is what they advertised and what I puchased but not what I received. I have contacted Sony and they advised me to return the whole package. If I purchase a DSLR-A700H I am supposed to receive just that and not a DSLR-A700 and a lens on a separate box. A month later from the moment of initial purchase, the right camera arrived. They cleaned up their mistake professionally."

"DON'T BUY FROM THESE GUYS!

My product has been tied up in their "warehouse" for over 6 days (more than 4 business day).

I can't get through to customer service. After an hour of waiting on the phone, I called sales but the guy quickly transfered me back to the customer service queue.

I quickly called him back but got his voice mail.

Any of this sounding familiar?? We've all bought from shady online retailers before... don't get tempted by a lousy $15 savings. Just buy from someone else, you'll be doing yourself a huge favor.

"Do not deal with this company? My "new" Canon lens arrived in a white cardboard box with no warranty and no manual. No fewer than 10 attempts and 2+ hours on hold ever got past their recorded message. Spend a couple extra dollars and buy from an honest vender."

"Have never written a review before either, but was amazed at the inefficiency of US1Photo's ability to simply keep me updated. Their website clearly states orders ship between 24-72 hours after being placed. One week later, when I called to find out why my order had not shipped, I was told it was because of a Jewish Holiday, and they assured me it would be shipped the following day. ANOTHER week later, I called them and they told me it was back ordered and being drop-shipped and a number of other excuses. They had no answer for why I was not updated via email about any of this. They said "Can you please give us another week to get you this camers? As it had been two weeks and they said they had not yet shipped it, I promptly canceled the order.

What a pain in the ass and a remarkable waste of time. To save what, $100? I immediately reordered the same camera from newegg.com for $100 more and they claim it will be shipped tomorrow, even though I ordered the cheapest shipping. There's something fishy about US1Photo, and I will not make the mistake of ordering from them again.

I ordered my Canon 40D body on 9/11/2008, the statues stays as "packing & preparing to ship" until 9/24. I called on 9/20 to check when they were going to ship it, after waiting for 1 hour, they told we it will be shipped on 9/21. Obviously nothing happened. I called on 9/22, waiting in line for 1.5 hours until they closed, but cannot get through. Called again on 9/23, reached someone (the same person as 9/21), he told me shipping was delayed due to weekend and Jewish holiday (seems NJ got much more Jewish holiday than the rest of this nation). He said I can cancel the order if I want. I already wasted two weeks waiting for it, I just want my camera. So I didn't cancel it.

So I finally get the package today. Again, it is an open-box kit, with the lens removed. There is NO WARRANTY CARD inside. And the 40D is a USED item. LCD has no protecter on it. System file indicates it has 2100+ clicks on this body.

What the F*** US1CAMERA? So what the other reviewers encountered is not incident/accident at all. It is the regular way they do their business: forever waiting, USED STAFF LISTED AS NEW, lies upon lies, etc. I wished I read these reviews earlier. Never do business with them again.

"I ordered Nikon D90 kit with 18-105 lens and 18-200 lens on 10/01/08 and paid for 3 day delivery. The sales person told me that my package would be delivered "early next week." It was delivered the following Tuesday. The package was not shipped until 3 days after the order was placed. I called them on 10/03/08 (waited for about 40 mins) inquiring about the status od my order and a cust. representative told me that the order would be shipped the same day. And it was really shipped on that day. When I received the package, the 18-105 lens was missing. Called them the next day. A representative said he would investigate my situation and would call me back. He did not call but I received a confirmation e-mail with the tracking number on the same day. They shipped the lens without any additional charges. The lens was delived a few days later.
Their price was lower than anywhere else. Their answers were honest. However, the order was not shipped immediately due to some Jewish holiday. They did not explicitely say it would be the case, but nevertheless my package was delivered when they promised. As for the missing lens in the first package, I think it was just a misstake of a person working at the warehose, so they quickly resolved my issue.
My suggestion is: ask those people the right questions. They will not tell you more, but will answer your questions honestly. One more thing: ask them about the warranty. There are different options and prices available.
In general, they did a pretty good job. I am satisfied with them.
