"Order processing and shipping was a little slow. Product may have been a return as it seemed like some of the documentation was not in a sealed bag. However product works great and I got the best price I could find at the time. I would buy from them again."

"I placed an order for a Canon XSI camera Wednesday 11/19. Their website showed it in stock. Today 11/24 I called and was told the Camera won't ship for 2-3 weeks, despite them showing it in stock. The representative on the phone was rude and cancelled my order without me asking for it. Shady company."

"Terrible and unreliable.
I do plenty of online shopping, more then i should, and this has been my worst experience without question!!! I ordered a 32 inch LCD flat panel on november 5th, 4 days go by and still no confirmation that my tv has been shipped. i have to email in order to get updates. they tell me the tv is in the "shipping department" one week later i email again asking for another update. they ignore me. 3 days after that i email again threatening to cancel my order. they write me back and say they will call me later that day. No call. i check my bank statement and they charged my credit card already. furious, i finally had enough and today (november 23rd) i email them and order them to cancel everything and credit my account. 5 minutes after the last email the phone rings and its us1photo saying they will ship it express tomorrow. NO WAY! canceled everything and i will never go back.

worst customer service, and they lie on their website. 4 days maximum to process an order or 2 weeks?

"This was the 3rd place I tried to buy a camera from last week. I think I've finally found an honest discount store.

After canceling deals with two different "bait and switchers", I ordered a Canon XSi body on line. The next day I received an email advising that I needed to confirm the order and thought "here we go again". I made the call expecting the worst. The salesman, Patrick, did make an effort to sell me some accessories that I didn't want, however it was an honest sales pitch and not an attempt at coercion. When I declined he was polite, professional and promised the order would go out in a day or two. I paid an extra $8.95 for four to six day expedited shipping and had the camera in two. Everything that was supposed to be in the box was there, still sealed in the manufacturer's packaging. I even confirmed that it was a US model camera when I registered with Canon's customer service.

Great price, items exactly as described, a real salesman and fast shipping. What's not to like? I will use this store again.

"I ordered a camera from us1camera / us1photo on 11-09-2008 - the day of this writing is 11-23-2008 (2 weeks) and I have not received it as of yet, nor any word saying it is on it way, still waiting,,, patiently. After reading some of these complaints here and on other sites, well, I have already called my CC company and have made plans to dispute this claim,, if the camera does not arrive this coming week. The only reason I even ordered from this camera store, us1camera / us1photo, is they are listed on the dpreview site, thinking since this was a great site and surely they would NOT list a store that was not reputable??? I'm hoping everything turns out to be OK because it will make me wonder if the articles on dpreview site are legit? - I WILL write back and let all know what happens. Thanks to all for posting their remarks! After waiting a FULL 3 WEEKS with no action at all on their part, I CANCELED THE ORDER and filed a dispute claim with our credit card company, just to be on the safe side.

"I am very unhappy with US1Photo.

I placed an order for Sony HDR SR 12 on 24th Oct. The next day I noticed that price had been reduced and called them if they can match the price.

The guy was Kevin, he was initially polite and said he would give the price difference of $18 as a store credit and asked me to what I was interested to buy.
I searched their site and asked for a camera case worth $20.

Then his tone changed. He said, he will not modify the order unless I buy a bigger item like battery. He said, it costs a lot for him to modify the order. So I should buy bigger items like battery to get the store credit.
When I replied that I was not interested in any other items, he said, he will not modify the order. Further he said, he would cancel the order since I was not buying any additional battery or bigger item.

I got frustrated and asked him to cancel the order.

But they have not given me the refund as of today(11/13). I called twice in the last two weeks, they are saying, it takes a time for them to issue the refund(this is contrary to their claim on the site that they would refund in 4 to 5 business days).

I will try to call them again tomorrow.

"Ordered nikon d40 kit at attractive price.order confirmed that day. They called me one week later to state that my order would be delayed because they had to send a whole batch of these cameras back to nikon because they were defective.(Yes,nikon is famous for poor quality control.) I was suspicious and called the sales department and was told that the d40's were in stock and would ship the next day.When I informed the customer service department of this they put me on hold,then stated that the camera would be shipped the next day. It is still in shipping limbo.A call today was answered by a very friendly person only to be put on hold until my phone battery gave up. After reading other reviews by irate customers I see that my experience is not unique. Of course there are positive reviews very short and chirpy which i consider bogus. Buyers Beware"
