"I purchased the Canon XS from this site on December 16th. So far it has not shipped. I tried contacting their customer service for two days and have not been succesful. I e-mailed and have not receive a response. I am really hoping that this is not a true indication of their product and service. "False advertising! On 12/14, I ordered the Sony DSC-T2 camera, which was listed for $237 on their web site. The next morning, they called me to tell me that they had just sold out of the camera. They refunded the money on 12/16, but their web site still lists the $237 price tag and "In Stock" status on 12/17."

"I first became aware of US1Photo.com simply by doing a price comparison on a number of sites. I expected some problems since it was the best price I could find--by a significant amount! However, I was pleasantly surprised when my order came about three days sooner than I anticipated, the product was as advertised, and there were no problems at all. I suppose that limits my ability to judge US!Photo.com's customer service, since I didn't need any! This is now bookmarked as my first stop for future photographic supply purchases. All in all, it was a very satisfying experience."

First call (w/ long hold) resulted in info that package will arrive on 12/15 and a promise of an email confirming shipping details. Neither the package nor the email ever arrived. A second call (w/ even longer hold) resulted in statement that order was canceled because item was out of stock. A bit late for that realization if you ask me...

"Based on my experience with US1 I believe that EVERY GOOD REVIEW BELOW IS FAKE. This company is a total scam. I bought a camera from them. After they took too long to process the order I requested that they cancel the order and refund my money. They agreed to do this, but of course have not refunded my money after several promises to do so. By the way, it is near IMPOSSIBLE to reach them via phone so good luck with customer service."
"Worst customer service EVER. I needed a lens by saturday and I was ordering it wednesday. I gave them my address and they told me it needed to be shipped 2 day air, however i am no more than 20 minutes from their store. It would have been nice for them to tell me I can pick it up and save the 30 bucks. Also, I was told I would get an email confirmation with all my info, it never came. My email address is easy, if they charged me correctly (they did) then they know my email address. I tried and tried with 2 phones at the same time and throughout the day to get a rep, but to no avail. The message for customer service said they closed at 4 pm eastern, well it was 315 pm eastern. Their website says they are open another hour. So I call the sales department and get a rep after waiting about 10 minutes, before I can say don't transfer me to customer service, he does. I try that again, I get a guy that transfers me and eventually I get someone, they messed up my name in my email, even though they billed it right. Point is, their service is the worst. I will never use them again. "
"Excellent Customer Support, Purchased product's reached me on time. Some items were missing during initial purchase, customer support took care of shipping them without any problems. 1 problem - I had specifically asked if the memory card reader was a SDHC compatible one, which the support said yes, but what arrived was a SD card reader. Well I am stuck with a card reader which cannot be used on SDHC cards, but I would definetly recommend this site for purchase. The camera bag (which the customer service personal said was premium) broke. Not sure if the premium bag was like this how the regular bags are."

Avoid this company like the plague. I ordered a camera and a DOA camera arrived. I sent it back at my expense and received a USED, yes a USED camera to replace it. I also paid again to have the second camera shipped to me.
Talk about a triple screw job.

"After reading through the reviews of this company, I was very wary of dealing with them. But, they had the best price for the camera I wanted (the best amongst the legitimate retailers.) I figured I'd give it a shot, and proceed with caution. I ordered via phone, such as to be 100% sure that what I was ordering was what I was wanting. The ordering process was smooth, other than a bit of upselling, but nothing too serious. This was Nov. 18th.
After my camera hadn't shipped for over the 5 business days stated, I tried calling their customer service; the customer service there is a nightmare!
11/24/08, 3:15pm -- called to see why camera hasn't shipped yet. Waited on hold for 15 minutes, then was hung up on. Called back, got through to someone finally after another 15 minutes on hold, and asked why my camera hasn't shipped yet. The customer service rep told me that he had to check why. He put me on hold again (different music), then transferred me back to where I started... after another 15 minutes, I talked to a female customer service rep. She told me that they hadn't recieved the product yet from whoever, but that it was still scheduled to arrive on time (so much for the 2-4 days processing time!) "On time" being December 1st through December 3rd. She also said that I'd recieve a tracking number this Friday. The next day (Wednesday, rather than Friday) I received my confirmation number.
I received the package on time (albeit 2 weeks after I ordered it!) The camera was as described; US version, newly packaged, and included all of the accessories. Overall, I'm satisfied with the transaction, and would probably deal with them again."

US1Camera quickly accepted my order cancellation on 12/9. The same day, 12/9, I entered a replacement order with Amazon at an $10 premium over the US1Camera cost. Amazon shipped the order on 12/10.The extra $10 cost was well worth it. The US1Camera site is still showing the item as being in stock."
