HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!
I have ordered a Sony SR11 camcorder, Ipod Nano and a package Pro 3 with a good number of interesting options for the camcoder.
After some dealing with sales contacts (who were reachable), my order shipped. When I opened the box, I found no ipod and 3 other items (memory, lens filters) were also missing. Of course the full bill was included, no problems with that!!
Multiple attempts to reach customer care were unsuccessful. I have sent mails to both generic mailbox that was supplied and to customer contact name. Absolute radiosilence. I re-contacted that sales people (which was no problem) but they kept on putting me in the customer service waiting queue which seems endless.

Once the sale is done, you are on your own !!!

If US1camera monitors this, they can contact me (I have included above my ordernumber so they can track my email address), so I am giving them a Xth chance to get a delighted customer.

also, when checking the extra battery I ordered, it is not a Sony original battery (not necessarily a problem) but the camera does not accept is, so it does not work !

I posted this above and now got reaction from US1camera. They have shipped my missing items. I still am stuck with the a battery that does not work but they have tried to correct their service. No real communication around it but they are trying to recover

"I ordered a Canon EOS 40D pro #1 package. The package came in as advertised on the seller webpage. The shipment is kind of slow to arrive. It took a little longer than indicated ont the web page. Overall satisfaction, I am satisfied with the order and would make purchase again from this seller in the future. Thanks guys."

"I purchased a Alpha 300 Dslr, sigma lens & flash on July 30th. I received a email telling me about the purchase but no follow up to let me know the tracking number. I was billed the same day of the purchase but know shipping number. It’s only been 3days but I’m certain I will get info soon. Well see. Will keep this up to date.
update they where out of stock, but one of the clerks tried there best to find a Sony A300 ASAP.
Great service but if your in a rush to get your product? just be patient.
oh and they tried to push the extra battery bit!

"Where do I begin, AVOID US1Camera/us1camera/Photomania.com at all costs! The price difference is inconsequential to the nonexistent service. I paid $700 on Sunday and by the following Friday the order has still not been confirmed to be shipped!. If you plan on talking to a company representative to try and resolve your issues you might have a better chance using two cups and string. Customer service is part of any price regardless of what the company may think and the term “low price” is irrelevant in this situation because $700 dollars for nothing seems awfully expensive to me. I had come in with expectations that I could add a quality vendor to my list of “reliables” I am leaving with yet another one added to my “disregard” list instead. Too bad."

"Excellent.. I had some apprehensions about the delivery before 9th Aug when I made the purchase on 30th of July, and it was on hold for a while..When I contacted them over phone on 5th Aug, they said that they were not able to verify my address and all, for which I had to email them my State ID scanned..But immediately after that My camera package was ready to be shipped and the next day it was shipped by a free upgrade to 2 day air..Which I received on 8th..! I am really happy with the packing and item ( Even though the Box was not sealed everything was in order as though untouched).. I am happy with the packing and response..Full satisfaction... The price is unbeatable.."

"The price is very good and service is excellent. I order a Nikon D60 kit and a zoom lens. The customer service manager Sean provided fantastic support and response to my order which was delayed due to a back order of my lens. When I called, he immediately ship out the partial shipment. When the back order lens arrived, he shipped that out using overnight delivery. The order arrived in very good conditions."

"Ordered 40D (Body ONLY). Received e-mail to call, update shipping address. Notified via e-mail of tracking number. Signature is required. Upon receipt I opened box to find that it was "kit packaging" with lens removed. Further review indicated that the camera enclosed was used. All protective coverings of lcd screens were removed and there were obvious markings on camera indicating use.

I sent e-mail to Bruce, sales rep... no response. I called. Was placed on hold 3 times. When I finally talked to him transfered me to customer service! After 35 minutes I spoke to Thomas who was golden!! He told me they were out of body only... he would stay in touch with me... and he did... followed up... my concern is they are selling refurb as new... be careful... price has gone up in last few days... perhaps they learned something!! Buyer beware... be careful... I canceled order and expect credit... if I don't get it my credit card company will be notified...

EDIT- I received a call from Kevin who told me that they take their reviews very seriously. He apologized for the misunderstanding (I told him I checked camera and the camera file indicated it had been used... ) he told me that perhaps a sales guy used... he apologized, gave me a store credit and his direct line and promised that he wanted to win back my business... he also gave me a $25 credit... I may give them another shot... but the customer service needs attention... I don't have 30 minutes to wait on hold, only to get back on hold...

"US1photo.com is awesome. The prices are pretty good. They do try to upsell you when you place an order, but they know what they're talking about. I placed an order on Tuesday and told them I needed it before a wedding on Saturday. Now it's Thursday and I have my merchandise...sweet. There were about 19 items on my invoice, totalling $1600+, and all they forgot was the extra battery...which happens to be on back order, they just forgot to tell me. I called and complained about the battery and they were polite and understanding. They said I would have it by next week. AWESOME SERVICE...once you get past the hold music for 30 minutes. Good product, good service, good timing, good price."

"Wow, these guys have really poor customer service. Not only are you on hold about 25-30 minutes each time you call, but if you're the least bit dissatisfied or have a problem with your order they say "let me put you on hold" and then hang up on you multiple times. I ordered a lens a week ago and it still hasn't shipped yet... I want to cancel the order but I can't because they keep hanging up on me. This is the SECOND time I've had problems with US1camera/photo"

"Ordered an HG-10 camcorder but after order was placed realized that I wanted the HF-10. Contacted the sales department and cancelled the order. Recieved two emails confirming that the order was cancelled on Saturday. On Thursday, my credit card was charged the full cost of the camera + overnight shipping. Have been trying to contact their customer support all morning but only get answering machines asking to try back later.

Finally got through to Donna, the rep that cancelled the order. She insisted that after I had her cancell the order that I re-placed the order. After fighting with her about it she finally agreed to issue a refund for the cost of the camera, AFTER UPS gets it back to them. So now its 2 days before I leave for vacation and I have $1000 missing from my checking account because of these incompetent crooks.

"Order shipped on time. However, my product I ordered did not have any manuals or warranty cards and was not packaged in the manufacturer's box. I have a hunch I may have received a gray market product. If I find out I did, I will pursue the matter with the NJ State Attorney General's office. I will not do business with this store again. "

"Original:
Poor customer service. They lied about an advertisement they were running for the lens I purchased for my Canon camera. When I contacted them about it they did nothing to resolve the issue.
Also the filter for the lens had been opened prior to shipping and was left sliding around in the box when it arrived. Mediocre packaging overall.
The lens I received works great but that is more a reflection on Canon then it is US1Camera.
I will not purchase from US1Camera again. Adorama Camera and B&H Photo will get my purchases from now on.

EDIT:
I have to give them credit, Kevin specifically, US1Photo did finally contact me. It was a nice try, but my issue I had with them was only partially resolved. He told me he would work on it.
It sounds like their tech department is the one truly to blame. I don't think it is the other people who work there, they seem nice ... when they respond to you. My letter grade goes from D- to C-.
I will CONSIDER buying from them again, especially with the store credit I received.

"I am very dissatisfied!!! I ordered a camera on July 21, shipping supposed to be 7-10 days. I got an email from a Marcus at the company telling me to confirm my order by phone or email first, before they can ship. I called the number 5 times and never got any reponse. I also send 4 emails. Then I tried calling the customer service and I am still holding for the 6th time for more than 30 minutes, until I finally have to give up, I have a small baby and cannot wait on the phone for longer. I also spoke to 2 people on 2 occasions at the sales department and they looked up my order, tell me it is ready to be shipped and then, TRANSFER ME TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I am frustrated!!!

It is now 08:50am on August 01, I just got an email and phonemessage from Kevin, and returned the call. He apologised and explained that they are doing a new billing system and have been having problems and that he would like to fix it, they upgraded my camera (shipped on 07/29) to rush delivery and I also got a store credit. Nice to see that someone looks into these problems.

"Overall they delivered what was promised. Unfortunately shipping took a lot longer than it should have. I ordered the camera on a Tuesday with UPS Two day shipping so I could have it by the weekend. The camera was never shipped out until Friday and did not receive it until Tuesday.

They will ship you what you order... just don't be in a hurry for it.
