"Go elsewhere - they lie about delivery times on their website. I suspect their current excuse as to why they can't deliver (successful marketing leading to an influx of orders) is also untrue. Even if you're happy to wait for weeks longer than stated (months according to some of the reviews here), choose someone else with a bit more professional integrity and reliability. I had a deadline - I allowed 3 weeks, so a lot longer than the stated 5-9 days, after which I was leaving for a remote island with no postal system. Valuebasket did not tell me until 2 weeks later that they couldn't guarantee my order would arrive. They appeared unable to be at all flexible once the situation was explained to them (the item I had ordered was an Olympus tg4 underwater camera, specifically for use on said remote island). I would have preferred a straight up - sorry we can't fulfill your order. That way I might have had time to order elsewhere. But I don't think this company really does straight up. Don't use them. There's no need - there are so many other options out there - companies incapable of fulfilling the basics don't deserve your custom."

"I do my research before buying another new - particularly a big ticket item like an AV receiver. That was the slow part. Once I knew what i was looking for I quickly realised Value Basket was by far the cheapest. Turns out they also have the best customer service and speedy deliveries to boot. In fact i've ordered things from my home town of Sydney and had then arrive later.
Very satisfied. Will definitely be using this online retailer again. And again. And again."

"Placed the order on a Sunday, got the standard email back stating the normal procedures. Didn't hear anything for a few days after that, which was a bit disconcerting, however I was pleasantly surprised by an email stating that my item would be reaching.
The item reached on Thursday, so a total of 4 working days to ship, quite fast!

I am looking for a way out to report them to the appropriate authorities, they are fraudsters, taking people's money right upon purchasing but refuses to send the product..

"I have emailed on EIGHT occasions to chase my order and VALUEBASKET have held my money for 23 days without dispatching the goods. I specifically asked for the name and email of a company director with legal responsibility for Value Basket and details of your complaints procedure. These requests have been ignored and I demanded that they return my money to me forthwith and send me an email to tell me you have done this.
This behaviour is totally unprofessional and tantamount to fraud or theft – I have made it clear – refund now without further excuse. You have held my money for 23 days and I cannot accept it takes days to refund.
