"I purchased an Artorius laptop with a dual-core T7200 CPU, 2GB 667GHz Corsair RAM, 7200 RPM 100GB HD, and a GO 7600 GPU. I have used it for several months as a portable scientific workstation (after repartitioning HD into vista business/ubuntu dual-boot) and can report that everything performs flawlessly. It is faster and more stable than any desktop I have used before. Vista (I can't believe I'm going to say something positive about M$) made it easy for me to install a small fat32 partition for moving files back and forth between the vista and linux partitions. I chose this model in-part because I wanted a 17-inch 1680x1050 screen with modest 3-d capability for volumetric rendering (as opposed to getting a 7950 GTX for gaming). I was surprised to find that I can run HL2 smoothly with Fakefactory's high-res mod textures at 1680x1050 with 2xAA,AF, and it looks great.
The physical quality of the case is excellent. I cynically and incorrectly assumed that the default satchel-type laptop bag would be junk. My only complaint, and it is unreasonable, is that I can't fit several books into it along with the laptop. Vigor included a disk with nvidia vista drivers, which I thought was a professional touch. I highly recommend this company: they will get my business again."
"I had looked around for a great while to find a good deal on a high performance laptop, and was getting pretty discouraged. I couldn't find a company that had the three things i was looking for. A good reputation/customer service, a great price, and mostly...the performance. I was pretty set on my choice to buy a high performance laptop from alienware, when i found out about Vigor Gaming from a computer shopper magazine i had lying around. I got on the website, (which is quite nice i might add) and configured the machine i wanted and found out that i would save a couple hundred bucks on basically the same laptop. So then i did a little research and discovered that Vigor had a pretty swell customer service reputation. And after reading through the warranty, i figured, if for some reason it didn't deliver in the performance area i would simply return it. Boy was i wrong.
My personal experience with Vigor Gaming is something that i will remember for some time, mostly cause when your handing out 2500 bucks to a small company half the country away things can get scary. I was wrong to worry, cause after it was all said and done i wouldn't have wanted to deal with any other company.
I ordered my laptop online, which was easy, and quick. Two days later it was confirmed, and the wait began. They told me it would take 8-10 days to ship. Reasonable i said. I emailed them on the 12 day, and asked what the hold up was. They had a back order on the video card i wanted, and offered me the free upgrade for the wait, and for not notifying me. VERY reasonable i said. 3 or 4 days later, it arrived...i sat by the window biting my nails in anticipation, and at 2:30 that evening it arrived in a box big enough for me to lay down in. (not really, but it was huge) I ripped through it in seconds (very well packaged) and there it was. Big, pretty, and all wrapped up. I powered on for the first time and it started right up, went to the desktop and there it was. CLEAN! and no extra junk that big time vendors always throw on your pc. For times sake, ill just tell you that its a beast. I didn't know thats how games were supposted to look! amazing is all i can say. My laptop is good for more than games though...this this can multitask better than my mother, and responds like a corvette.
Ive had a few minor problems...and by that i mean things that i dont understand and had to ask a question. And the customer service was quick, and knowledgeable. Overall I think Vigor Gaming is a rare gem among others, and would reccomend to any whom are looking for a company to deliver on customer service, price, and performance.

Also, I was busy traveling for work, and they worked with me on contacting me before shipping the computer to make sure I would be home to receive it! Now that is customer service.
But then I received my computer and it didn't turn on...something with the powersource. I'm sure they didn't send it with a bad powersource. So I talked to Tommy and we went through seeing what the problem was, and it was definitely the power. So we sent it back the very next day. I received it earlier this week, and it's awesome!!! It took a while for this review because I have been fiddling with the internet...it won't connect through a Linksys (WRTP54G), but it'll connect when it's direct with the cable modem (PS: If anyone knows how to get it work with the Linksys, let me know, thanks!).

"I had a great time ordering this computer from Vigor. I did make a few changes after the initial order which by my own doing caused the computer to take a little longer to get to me. (my fault) Vigor handled every call very well and were very nice. Laura answered all of my questions about the different hardware and software going into the machine. It has been a little while since I have built a computer and some things have changed. Between her and a weekend of reading, I got the computer I wanted. "I just ordered my new Force Recon from Vigor last night, and I'm excited. While I won't be able to add a final review until I receive the pc (in two weeks), I'd like to mention that the ordering process was very simple, enjoyable, and the sales representative (Laura) was very polite.
This is my first true "gaming rig", having endured years of store-bought computers over the years. I did a lot of research into various companies such as Alienware, Velocity Micro, Falcon NW, and even Gateway and Dell and decided to go with Vigor Gaming for three reasons:
1. Prices couldn't be beat for the specs I wanted
2. Highest customer rating on this website
3. The Monsoon II cooling system appears to be a great value
I will add more to this later once I receive the computer. Can't wait!
EDIT: I now have had my computer for several days, and it works perfectly! It was packaged in two gigantic, custom boxes with a lot of care, and booted right up without a problem when I started it. They had even entered my name as the user, so I was greeted by name when launching Vista!
This machine runs much faster than anything else I've had, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. The casing is beautiful, the wiring is clean, and the customer service was wonderful when I called them with questions during the ordering process.
The only thing that anyone might see as a negative is that the machine does run a bit loud (I can hear it downstairs!) - this is because of the Monsoon cooling system I had them install. I knew it would be louder in advance, so I can't be upset, and after overheating my last processor I don't mind the extra noise - it just reminds me that this one is going to be fine even after an 8-hour gaming session!"
"I order the Atlantis Laptop on the 24th of April and I received it in a timely fashion. It was suppose to be shipped out the 9th of May and it was shipped out the 7th and I received it on the 11th. I notice that the it was showing only one hard drive. I emailed them about it and Tommy call me and left an message on my phone. When I called Vigor I told the Lady what had happen and she knew who I was and what my problem was she told me Wayne or Tommy was the one who called me. Imagine talking to someone that knows who and what is happening and their not the one who called you. Well Wayne took my call and told me Tommy was on another line and maybe he could help. I told him the problem and he told me he apologize that they forgot to partition and format the hard drive. Once he explain what to do to my hard drive it appear. Imagine customer service that actually works. All other companies should learn from Vigor Gaming. "

I chose Vigor Gaming over other vendors based on the reviews I saw on this site. I ordered my rig tonight and will update my review as the order progresses and my computer is received!
As of 5/8: I have checked on my order status the last few days and it has shown parts preparation "in progress" since I first checked my order status the day after I ordered it. It doesn't really go into a whole lot of detail. Showing a estimated ship date of 5/16. I'm excited!
As of 5/16: I got an e-mail today saying my computer shipped today as promised. I can't wait! I will finish my review of the finished product once I get it.
Final review: I received my computer just two days after it shipped. The computer was nicely packaged and seemed secure. Setup was nice and easy.
The computer case is beautiful and sturdy. Cables look good and orderly. The computer runs great and I have had no problems thus far.
My only complaint: My computer arrived with the wrong soundcard (lower quality) installed. It was a mistake I'm sure. I talked to Wayne at Vigor on the phone. He was very friendly and was very nice and apologetic. He offered to ship the correct sound card but I decided the one I got was sufficient and Vigor refunded the difference of the sound card I ordered and the one I actually got.
Overall, I am very happy with Vigor and would recommend them to anyone seeking a good gaming computer.

Update 6/24/08:
After over a year of using my computer and wondering why it is slower than it should be, I discovered windows vista had been installed on the wrong hard drive. When I purchased the computer, I asked for it to be configured with a RAID0 config with two 150 gig Raptors as my main hard drive and a seperate 250 gig hard drive (a slower one) for storage only. Apparently, when my computer was put together, vista was installed on the wrong and slower hard drive. So this whole time, I have been using a slower hard drive than the one I bought.
I have spent the last week trying to reconfigure my system to the way it should have been when I purchased it including re-installing vista and all my applications and getting countless errors and problems along the way. I have spent hours on the phone with Vigor's tech support (calling tech support usually requires leaving your name with someone and having them call you back several hours later). Vigor admits to their mistake but has not been very apologetic or anything. The last week has been very frustrating.
If it weren't for how careless my computer was put together (wrong sound card, wrong hard drive configuration and who knows what else I will find), I would probably be happy with the computer and Vigor. But my $3100 purchase from them has been somewhat of a nightmare."
"I'm very pleased with my purchase through this company. The assembly and delivery time of this computer exceeded my expectations, only taking 17 days from placing the order to arriving at my doorstep. All the hardware components have proved to be stable for now although I haven't put them under extreme stress testing (I'll update review if I notice problems). The computer itself is very impressive looking, both in size and appearance. I can't comment much on customer service as I have only spoken to them once over the phone, however that one time was a hassle free experience where I requested that an additional hard drive be added to my configuration.
I only have a few minor gripes about the system. First would be that the Monsoon CPU cooling system they use tends to make strange noises when working at low capacity (sort of sounds like computer is shutting down and restarting). Also, it would have been nice if Vigor Gaming offered to overclock my CPU. I believe that if I called them up and requested it, they would've done it. However, it would have been nice if they offered that service from the online order sheet. Lastly, one of the DVD drives I had requested was replaced with a different DVD drive, which I belive to be an inferior product. It just would have been nice if they had informed me before hand, so I could've made a different selection."
"From start to finish, I was extremely impressed with Vigor Gaming. They answered all my calls and e-mails with good answers to my questions. I even called after the order to make changes and did so without a hassle. Then, my order shipped five days early, which was a very nice bonus. I could hardly wait, and when the computer arrived, it blew away all my expectations. I got a really nice Force Recon that'll tear through anything. The box was packaged well, and not a thing was damaged during shipping. I've had it for about a week now, and it hasn't crashed or given me any problems what so ever.
