"Extremely satisfied. I may have paid a little more then putting the system together myself, but missing the hassel of getting everything to work together the first time was worth the cost.

However there was a problem with shutting the computer off and being able turn it back on. After two hours on the phone, with an extremely helpful person, we ended up having to updat the bios and all was fine. Again extremely pleased with my system.

"I chose to order from Vigor after reading alot of reviews on here about Vigor and their competition in the custom computer arena.

I ordered a laptop, one of the lower end models which I had alot of questions about before the purchase. My first email of questions went unanswered for 2 weeks, I was upset about this fact and started to look at the competition, but decided that it could have been a miscommunication. So, I emailed again and let them know that I was unhappy about the first email being ignored. They responded immediately and informed me that they had switched servers and lost some emails.

There was an error on the website for the specific model that I was ordering and I called to question (a feature was missing from the drop down selection menu) and within a day the website was updated and fixed.

The initial concerns about communication were quickly erased after my order. I had a question or two after I ordered and "Daisy" (i believe that was her name) was extremely prompt in helping me out and getting my questions answered.

The computer shipped A WEEK early and arrived yesterday. I pulled it out of the box and fired it right up. I have yet to test every single port or output but everything I have tried has worked flawlessly. The online 'status' deal was not updated, it said four 4 days that they were 'aquiring the parts' and then all of a sudden it was shipped.

The packaging was fantastic and all of the hardware is exactly what I ordered.

If I have any issues I will update this accordingly but as of now it has been a great experience for my first custom computer purchase.

***UPDATE*** I had an issue with the Aegis I bought, partially my fault, partially vigors for not catching it, but the solution was nothing short of amazing in terms of customer service.

Throughout my purchase I spoke to the same sales rep (Daisy) and the same tech (Anthony) who helped me get the performance I wanted. I ended up sending my computer back for replacement and aside from the inconvenience of waiting a few extra weeks I was given a free upgrade!

Best computer ive ever had, best customer service ive experienced in a long while! THANKS VIGOR!

"Let's see, where should I start? I know -

They beat out Falcon-Northwest, Voodoo, and Alienware in pricing. Not to mention, they have the latest parts readily available, before all the companies that I have listed above. The customer service was great, and they even have a chart to show the progress of the machine you build/buy, before it ships. Only thing I had a problem with was shipping. The estimated ship date was about a week off, which is understandable. This is that time of year when people buy most of their PCs for the Chrismas season. They had a great selection, and are affordable. I give this place a 9.2 out of 10.

"Ordered system online. Received call next day from Daisy confirming order. Appreciated being told about problems with Vista 64 bit. Received another call few days later saying selected sound card wouldn't fit the case. Given option and decided to choose another sound card. Received credit on account reflecting different price. Could follow status of computer on web site. System shipped on the 23rd right when the web site said it would. Expecting delivery on the 30th. Will update when computer arrives. Things great so far.

System came on the 30th. Tried to set up and system wouldn't boot. LCD on motherboard displayed CPU INIT. Called tech support on the 31st. Call was answered very quickly. After working together and trying different things, was able to get system to boot up. Reason for failure unknown, perhaps something came loose during shipping? Great tech support, staff always polite, helpful and thorough. Computer working well so far. Clean install, no bloatware. Just updated some of the drivers.

"I placed an order online on October 11. I didn't receive a confirmation email. I called the company and person verified that the order went through and the price matched to what my config was. After some digging around, the confirmation email got caught in my work's spam software.

The next day, I received a call from Daisy about my order and some of the issues. I needed to upgrade my PSU to 900 watts since I upgraded the video card. She questions the memory that I selected...I wanted to get 4GB of ram with Vista Home 32-bit but she said it will only recognize up to 2GB. I did some looking (and I still question if 4GB would have been ok) and called her back and said go ahead and change it to 2GB of ram. I figured if I want some more...it is cheap enough to get.

One weeks as gone by and it is now in Q/C, which will take the longest. Est ship date is 10/24.

The only thing I didn't like is the config page. If I select a video card that the min req PSU is 900watt and 800watt is selected, tell me there is an issue. Other than that...so far so good. Keep you informed.

I received a call the next day to confirm the order and fix a couple mistakes on my part. It was exactly two weeks from placing my order to setting it up on my desk. "10/10/07: Placed order
10/11: I received a call from Vigor telling me the Video card I seleceted required the 900W power supply and asked if I would like to downgrade the Video card or upgrade the Power supply. Chose to upgrade PSU. They also informed that as I live in same area of their officies I could go pick up my comnputer myself and not have to deal with the tragedies of shipping. So far so good. :)

10/16 - Things are still moving and no major issues, however, I got an email saying things were underway, but I did not receive an updated invoice reflecting the changes made. As of today I have sent 2 emails (1 friday 1 today) asking for an invoice to be sent as well as confimation that my rig is flagged for pick up and not delivery - no reply from Vigor on either email. Not a big issue, but with such a $$$ purchase it worries me still.

10-30: I drove and picked up my computer and everyone at Vigor was very nice and made sure I knew that they would take care of me if there was an issue. I have had the computer for about a week and only 2 issue have arisen. (1) The computer gives me the BSOD when i try to run a game. This happens twice usually and after the second restart, things seem to go to normal.
I sent an emil today asking for assistance. Updates to come. . .

November 8: This will be the last entry. VIGOR GAMING IS THE PLACE WHERE EVEYONE SHOULD BUY GAMING COMPUTERS!!!.
I brought my computer to them to fix the crashing issue. I walked in the door and they had a monitor set up waiting for my computer to be hooked up to it. We went over what the issue is and decided that the 10% overclock my be the issue.
The went ahead and put the speed back to default and had me sit down and test the machine. I was offered food and water while I tested the comp and everyone was so friendly, even the little dog they have running around :).
Taking off the overclocking resolved my issue and it didnt even require me leaving my comp. with them.
While the "QC" aspect of their system my have some kinks to work out, Vigor is the place to go. The customer service they provide is easily worth the difference in price between lesser gaming computer companies. Especially if you live within an hour or so of their office.

They even went so far as to take the time teach me about how to navigate and operate the BIOS of a computer in order to empower me not to freak out if there is an issue.

In conclusion. Vigor is spectacular and they get an "A-" in my book as a retailer. I have already referred 2 of my friends to their site and wish vigor nothing but the best. Special thanks to Chuck, Daisy, Wyane and Larry(or Harry, i may forget). You guys were so great.

"So far so good. Ordering process was easy, website was great, they called to tell me stupid things I did when I customized the computer (which saved me some cash), no complaints. So far the computer runs great.

The only knock I have, and this is a very minor one, is that there was not an invoice in the packaging telling me what I ordered (of course I had the one they emailed me), but I would have liked to see one in the box.
