"Had a horrible experience with Vistaprint. Waited 3 weeks for my order then emailed them. Their response was that they couldn’t be printed because of the foil I’d requested. I asked them when they’d planned on letting me know about the issue. They replied that it was my fault in the initial image upload, basically calling me incompetent and not answering the real question of why they’d waited 3 weeks until I asked what was going on. For the record, the upload was completely correct with the foil mask etc.

As mentioned by others, their sales practices are very sneaky and while there’s been no erroneous charge on my credit card yet, I will be keeping an eye out for one, or two, or three.

"I've recently received my business cards from Vistaprint and I am extremely impressed by the quality of the business cards. I choose the premium ones with a glossy finish and in my opinion it was worth the extra $12!

If you go to any print store and try to do the same, it would cost you much more.

I ordered 7 day priority shipping and it came in 3 days so again shipping was amazing.

The only drawback is that the shipping price is quite expensive.

Finally the fact that they have all those extra advertisements is to subsidize their pricing. It is a small sacrifice to go through the advertisements and selecting no to get the quality of cards at such a good price. The people who accidentally signed up for stuff and complained shouldn't be complaining because it's their fault for doing so!

Anyhow Kudos to Vistaprint!

"I've used Vista Print before and was happy, but apparently they have become a scammy company.

And their prices are NOT cheap.

I placed an order with them and was fairly ok with the pricing on 250 cards and a set of address labels. But then I was directed to a scammy page which offered "FREE SHIPPING!" to upgrade the amount of items I was getting. I upgraded both items. My total jumped from 34.00 to 70!!!!!!! Worse, there was NO free shipping, the shipping price actually increased $5!

I was horrified but the thing was done and my card was charged. I had to call the next day and I spoke to a surly sounding woman who also seemed upset by my request to cancel the upgrades and return my original price. She also argued that the free shipping was only for items I upgraded (yet I had upgraded ALL ITEMS in my basket!) She then said the credit card would be refunded and my new price was $40. Well, thats three dollars higher than my original purchase price, but ok. Then I just checked my bank account and she LIES LIES LIES! My purchase price was %54!

What? And all this because I clicked a button saying "FREE BUSINESS CARDS"

I know the upgrades are not free, but even the base cards were not free as they used to be. Apparently now, (not sure about this) if you choose the wrong template, you don't get a free base price, and its not clear when your price is going up.... and up.... and up.

How can a company tell me my price is $40 over the phone and charge my card $54!

Vista Print has gotten terrible. I could have gotten 1,000 cards for $75 - or at worst $100, why would I want 250 for $54?

I'll never use Vista Print again, I don't want to be scammed and I am super angry at the Vista Print fraud.

"I've bought different things off this company, and the product quality has always been great. Shipping speed was also great, I paid for 7 days shipping and it arrived in 3! I've never had any problems and doubt I will ever do... Shipping prices may be a bit expencive but there's always special offers to make up for it!"

"I could not be happier with Vistaprint. I was able to get beautiful printed invitations for a baby shower, including color back for additional information, and envelopes with matching design for the same price as I would have paid for fill-out invitations. Saved me a lot of time and frustration. The design choice was great, and for a couple bucks I upgraded to premium 100lb stock paper. Delivery time matched that of my shipping choice. They offer coupons and free offers to their already reasonable pricing, and I was able to use the 50% discount."

"I like their order configuration/designer tool, and the items were shipped relatively quickly. However, I was not impressed with the quality of the delivered product.

I ordered several hats with a design on the front and back. First, the vividness and quality of the printing is much fainter and grainier than it appeared in the proof. Second, the alignment of the back design is not what was shown on the proof--it is printed to far towards the top so you can read it unless you are taller than the person wearing the hat. On the proof it looks like it is near the edge but the actual hat there is about 1.5 inches between the edge and the design. The material of the hat itself is not too bad, but overall I think the quality of the printing work is mediocre and it looks as if the design will wear off after a short time. Hopefully time will prove me wrong in this last point.

"I spent around $200.00 with Vista Print to do some postcard mailings. After 30 days I called them to find out where the postcards were and why they haven't been mailed out yet. They tried to tell me that the cards were mailed out 15 days prior to my call, this was wrong since I added my own address to the list and never received a postcard. Flat out lie? or support person is clueless?

After being transferred to a few other support people I was told there was a problem with the company they use who handles the mailing part, then they said it was a problem with my order, so after an hour of this I tried to get a refund. They simply said no! but they could send me 100 post cards for FREE. Hardley compensation for the amount of money I just gave them.

I ordered 500 post cards to do marketing for my business, none were ever mailed!! I spent money to purchase a mailing list based on demographics I choose like age, income, zip code radius, etc.. Where does 100 free cards begin to cover this ?

So after a month I get nothing but 100 cheap postcards and they didn't even have prepaid postage on them! which I paid for.

I will NEVER use this company again for anything, even if they did a decent job on my business cards, forget it! I'll shop local and use businesses within my local Chamber of Commerce, small business need our money and work hard to earn our business. In fact I will be sure to inform all of my friends and clients not to use Vista Print either.

Be cautious when dealing with any online business when it comes to marketing via: postage mailings. You have no guarantee or proof that anything ever gets mailed.

"I can not even tell you how disgusted and disappointed I am with this company. I would never ever use them again for anything. I placed an order on April 11th for my Save the Date postcards. I had designed the card, and uploaded an address list into the Vistaprint database for them to automatically ship the cards to the necessary recipients. Our wedding is on August 21st, so I wanted the cards to go out quickly, so I spent 25 dollars extra to rush order them. My statement and confirmation both reflect that the order was supposed to ship on April 14. By April 19th no one had received the cards and I was a bit confused, so I called vistaprint and had a conversation with a very impolite employee who informed me that the confusion was my own fault and had I read the fine print it would have said that while the shipping date could have been the 14th, they couldn't be printed that quickly and so would actually arrive between 5 and 8 business days of when I placed to order. Apparently they had until the 21st for the order to actually arrive at people's houses. I was irritated that it was so misleading, but I just confirmed that the order would absolutely arrive by the 21st. She said that it would. The 21st came and- no postcards. At that point I called again and spoke to a manager who informed me that my order had been lost in printing and couldn't actually be shipped until the 25th. I felt like that was really too late for the orders to START being shipped for an August 21st wedding, so I canceled the order and just dealt with the fact that I would not do save the dates, and had just wasted a lot of time with an incompetent company.

Fast forward one and a half months. It is now May 30th, we are working on getting our invitations out by June 21st, and I check my mailbox and my Save the Date postcard is sitting in there. I check my phone and there is a message from my mom asking what the hell is going on and why I would decide to send my save the dates two and a half months before the wedding and like two weeks before we send out wedding invitations. Apparently all 83 save the date cards shipped on May 26th and are now arriving all over the country. This is mortifying, stressful, and something that I DO NOT need to be dealing with. Of course, no one is working at the company today so I can't even call. I simply don't know what to do and I am beyond furious. Please do not ever work with this company.

"Ordered a bunch of check which arrived in a few weeks since I'd used their slowest shipping service. Didn't have any trouble with my order. The new trend toward banks jacking up their fees for little things like check orders made the price I paid with Vistaprint less than half of what I'd normally pay.

The only caveat I have is if you want to get free shipping, be prepared to buy 900 checks from them. Not necessarily a bad thing as it means you won't need to order anymore for a while. =)

"Well, here we go again Vista Print. I filed a complaint with BBB b/c they TOOK $142.05 from my account when the browser jumped.
They told the BBB that they would issue a full refund within 60 days...LIARS!!!!!!
I call up, they tell me to check with my bank and HANG UP ON ME! Boston Better Business Bureau handles complaints on them....I encourage everyone to file a complaint. Then you will have to fight some more, but I am going to get my money back that's for dam sure. BTW my bank confirms that the refund is not there. That's when Vista Print hung up on me....God ppl stay away from them!
So, it's round 2 Vista Print...Back to the Better Business Bureau we go...I have also kept all emails to and from them!
I'll be dammed if they are gonna get away with it.
Stay away from this company, they are Crooks with a capital C!!!!!!!!I hope they all burn in hell!

"they do not have any return policy that works
they produced a pixelated postcard that was unacceptable. They never reviewed their own work and sent it out on a mailer. When you send them a letter they do not respond. Roger Willaims is the general manager of design sales & service and he will not respond to written requests. When you call and request your refund they do promise one but never send it out. Repeated requests for the refund send you around to a new person every time, you have to explain your problem over and over again.
If you must use this company ask to see your postcard before they send it. Don't expect a refund if you are not happy.

"Ordered pens for a business. When I received them, most of them were scratched up from shipping. The pens were extremely poor quality, and the printing came off by just rubbing with your fingers. The pens were very cheaply made and embarassing to give to anyone.

I contacted the company and asked how to return the pens for a refund. I was told that a refund would be processed immediately. Several weeks have gone by, and no refund has been received. I emailed their customer service person, and I have yet to receive a response.

After reading other problems and scams people have had with this company, I feel as though I too have been swindled. It's too bad that I have been treated like this and scammed out of a measly $100, when this company could have made so much more money by retaining me as a happy paying customer.
