"I signed up for some free promo items. Somehow there was some fine print I missed and I was being chaged $14.95 a month. I saw some charge on my credit card for Bizmax $14.95. Not very ethical and the quality of the promo iteams were not of great quality."
"This is a terrible company. They were supposed to print, address and mail about 200 postcards to our association. They printed 185 and then gave up. They wouldn't tell me which ones were printed, so we will never know which members weren't notified. I will never use them again."
"I ordered a photo desk calendar as a gift for my dad, last minute. At that moment I couldn't afford more than 7-day shipping. I ordered it on December 19th, expecting it to arrive, if I was lucky, a couple days into 2010, considering it's the holidays and mail usually takes longer. I received it five days later, on Christmas Eve. Not only did I not receive it late, as I expected, I received it two days earlier than I ordered it for, which was an even more amazing feat because I ordered it right before the weekend. This isn't the first time VistaPrint has gotten me my order early, and I will definitely be using them again. "
"I've used VistaPrint more than a dozen times over the last 9 years for free business cards, address labels and other low-priced items. I've only had a problem once and I never gave them the chance to correct it, so I won't go into it. My one complaint is that prices will change if you try to add too many promotional items to your shopping cart (ie. $3.99 premium business cards magically become $5.99 premium business cards after adding free address labels).
I've been reading some of the poor reviews posted about them and most of the dissatisfaction comes from buyer error. For instance, freefortenbucks posted, "I signed up to get some 'free' post cards and was charged an upload fee and shipping." To get free cards you have to choose from their selection of free designs. Uploading your own image costs extra and this is clearly stated on the website. I don't know how anyone could not realize this. And who would think shipping is free also? Does UPS offer free shipping when a company offers a free item? Have some common sense. Freefortenbucks also complained about the membership club "scam." This is in reference to the pop up ad that occurs after an order is placed on vistaprint.com. It offers a $10 coupon for your next order if you sign up for the membership. VistaPrint is an affiliate for the company offering the membership. It is not VistaPrint trying to scam people with monthly membership to a discount club. If you don't want it, don't click on the ad, don't agree to sign up for the membership and don't take the $10 coupon.
Rjcbleong posted VistaPrint sent the wrong holiday cards and a refund was only going to be for the cards and not the shipping of the free item he/she received. I'd expect a full refund for their mistake, but this person also wants a refund for shipping of the free item which had no mistake?
Keep in mind when viewing Reseller Ratings that people are more willing to take the time to write a bad review when they are upset rather than a good review when they are pleased with a purchase. But some of these poor reviews are a joke. Try reading, have some common sense, and keep in mind that you're not getting $40 business cards for the price of S/H and you will be pleased with VistaPrint."
"DISAPPOINTED!!! Never Again. I switched to FuzeDot Printing."
"This was a scam. I signed up to get some "free" post cards and was charged an upload fee and shipping. That was about $10 and I received the postcards. I am fine with the post cards and even the $10 for the "free" cards.
Then they charged me $14.95 in Nov and Dec for some "membership" club I supposedly joined. They are hiding their business name on the statements as MVQ*VPCLUBUS and hoping people don't notice a $14.95 monthly recurring fee.
"
"I paid about $22 each for 2 different sets of 100 postcards.
When they arrived, Vistaprint had snuck THEIR OWN WEBSITE ADDRESS into one of the batches, on the same side where my own web address was, potentially causing confusion. Nowhere on the website is this clearly mentioned, and this was definitely not on my original proofs - and why they'd only do it to one batch is beyond me.
Needless to say, I'm disgusted at them trying to give themselves free advertising on something I bought from them without my consent."
"I just received my Christmas cards from Vistaprint and while they weren't ghastly..they were very sub standard to what I have sent in the past. The designs on the website are very cute and this year I chose one where I could use two pictures,on a 5x7 card. When designing on the website, your pictures appear to fill the card and are nice and large. However, when you receive the card, they are too small for the card. I paid extra for a linen finish and while the finish was ok...the card stock was very flimsy! The next problem came when putting the cards in the envelopes. They just didn't fit, with the top a fraction too large so when you folded it over, it left a crease. The sticky on the back doesn't go all the way to the edges, leave a gap on either end. I've sent my review to Vista Print and we'll see if I get a reply but I doubt it seriously. A friend ordered from Shutterfly and I received her card yesterday and while her picture also, appeared too small for the card, at least it FIT in the envelopes and the texture was much nicer than Vistaprint's. I've always made copies of a picture and stuck them in picture cards which is a hassle but the quality is extremely better!"
"Do NOT waste your time with this company. I ordered holiday cards, added a free promotional item, and paid for 3 day rush shipping. When the package arrived within the 3 day window, it had the WRONG holiday cards and the free item. When I called for resolution they said it would take an additonal 5 days to get me the holiday cards or I could get a refund. Then i find out the refund was only going to be for the holiday cards and the shipping for them not the entire amount of my invoice. So their stupid, FREE promotional item cost me over $4 and it wasn't even usable!!
They don't deserve to receive anyone's business since they place no value on their customers. Most companies would put it through rush just to make a satisified customer!! "
"I ordered some business cards from vistaprint. The overall experience was good. The site may seem to have too much information on there but once you gets through that you are on the way. The package actually comes in earlier than what they promised to me (21 day vs 17 days actual). The product quality is good. I can't say it is state of art but how much more you can expect from your business cards? To me it is just a piece of paper. One thing I want to complain is that VP's order confirmation email sometimes goes to my spam mail box so I will need to dig them out just in case if I miss anything. Other than that, the experience is ok. I will definitely recommend vistaprint to my friends. "
"VistaPrint did a great job on my business card order but I would also like to make a couple of comments. On the good side, even though the printer had a problem with my graphics image, VistaPrint helped me reorder with a corrected image and then gave me a further discount and rushed the order to me so that I could have my cards for my travel deadline. On the negative side, VistaPrint business cards are slightly smaller than "standard" business card size. They are about 3 mm or 1/16 smaller in height and width. Keep this in mind when ordering from them. If you want a standard business card which is 3.54 X 2.05 in. or 90 X 52 mm., you will need to place your order with another vendor. If you don't mind the smaller size, the color, graphics and print quality on my card are excellent. I would also recommend the 100 lb. paper stock as a worthwhile upgrade."
"I have ordered from this site over and over and always have such a great experience and recieve such a great product. Everyone compliments the cards or product that I get from Vistaprint as well. Anytime I need help they are always availabel and very helpful. I LOVE VISTAPRINT and that is why I am taking the time to write a good review on every site I can find to do it on. There are too many companies out there nowadays that just don't care and they overcharge. Vistaprint not only has great customer service and a great product but they offer great prices as well. I don't know why you would use anyone else."
"The first order I placed was severely messed up but 90% of it was because I misunderstood the downloading and centering instructions. Once I called (and yes, a live person called back right away), the problem was resolved at no extra cost to me. The customer service person I spoke to was slightly belittling to me, but I believe some of it was due to a difference of tone in different cultures (English was not her first language)so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she was not being rude. The only real problem I had was the size of the business card. The cards were slightly smaller than the standard biz card. I thought it was all in my head at first until I laid it down over other biz cards. I won't say the cards are tiny, but they are noticeably smaller if next to other cards. The person I spoke to about the size of the card insisted they were standard, but they are not, and that's a fact. Overall the experience was good for what I needed. I would use them again. If you are going to use them just make sure you know you may be getting slightly less quality than a top-of-the-line printer. If you are a perfectionist business wise, then the fact that they are not perfect might bother you. Other than that you will have a great, cost effective experience. I find no reason to pay for rush shipping because mine shipped within two days anyways. I received my cards within 5 days with the standard shipping option. "
"In response to an email I received in August 2009 asking for a customer testimonial, I sent the following note to Vistaprint:
Ms. Sanderson,
I had an incredibly POOR experience ordering holiday envelopes from you in 2008. Your site listed for sale 5" x 7" envelopes that were actually not 5" x 7", and instead were smaller dimensions and would not fit my cards. After I communicated the issue to your customer service department, I was sent a second batch of identical mis-sized envelopes! After my husband spoke to a second customer service representative for over 30 minutes, we discovered that, in fact, your company had listed the smaller envelopes as 5" x 7". Further, we learned Vistaprint was unable to sell us any envelopes that were truly a 5" x 7" dimension. Because your company delayed our holiday card mailing by two weeks and was not equipped to sell us the product we needed, I will never provide a positive testimonial and will never be a customer of Vistaprint.
I am surprised (or maybe I should not be surprised, as I should not have any expectations that your company is properly managed) that you (or was is your computer/database?) even asked me for a testimonial. "
"Ordered a T shirt and very pleased with the result. Arrived within two days of ordering on a 7 day delivery order. T shirt quality could be better but that would hike the price probably.I uploaded my own design using a psd file and noticed different coloured text on the T shirt when it arrived. Some colour loss but nothing major. Good value for the price at £6.54. Would probably be interested in Reseller account but not enough information about pricing and up front fee of £56 a bit of a put off. Overall very happy."
