"I doubled checked before ordering that I was not buying the expired EAS bars. Shipped me bars that were expired for one year and claimed I bought expired bars on the website. This was not the first time I was shipped expired bars but it was usually not over a month or two old. If this is how they treat their repeat customers, I wonder how they're still in business. "I was a little nervous placing my order with VitaGlo, because the previous reviews were not very good. However, because the price was soooo much better than any others, I decided I could depend on my credit card company to get me out of any trouble I got into. I placed my order and received it 2 days later! Wow that was really fast! And with free shipping too!!! The product was packed carefully and and well protected (glass jars) from breakage. The expiration date on the product is way out there. Basically, I couldn't be happier with my order. Thank you VitaGlo. "

I never got a tracking number even though the money was immediately taken out of my bank! I did research the Better Business Bureau and was quite shocked how many people have been taken!! "Purchased four items through Vitaglo, and they delivered products well packed and in a timely manner. Was hesitant about ordering after reading the many bad reviews, but decided their low prices were worth giving them a shot. Never used their customer service, but I was offered a tracking number to keep track of shipping. Perhaps people tend to review stores when they have a bad experience, and a result I wanted to offer my counter opinion.. The Good - product in stock, very good prices (cheapest I could find), free shipping over $50, tracking number, and good packaging of products. Bad - none that I experienced. See for yourself..."
"thanks for NOTHING, vitaglo. i have NEVER come across customer service this bad. it wasn't like talking to a brick wall, it was like talking to a black hole. a black hole that steals money! i placed my order, got a confirmation email immediatly, 2hours later i got another email saying the order had been shipped. (no tracking info though)it was too good to be true. 2 weeks later: no package, 2 messages left at their toll free number with no response, 3 emails with no response, and i finally talked to a very gruff lady when i called their NY number who said she "couldn't get into the system right now" and would call me back in 20 minutes. HAH! what kind of scam are they running?! don't give these people your credit card number! "
"I placed an order for an in stock item. It was shipped 4 days later (sent, not received, 4 days later). I received 1/10 the quantity that I ordered. When I emailed them about this, I was informed that there was an error in the product listing, and after a couple of emails back in forth, I was told that I could return it for a full refund plus $5 to cover the cost of return shipping. 29 days later, I recieved an email from them saying that my credit card had been credited the amount of the purchase, MINUS shipping costs."

I recently started to work out again and I am a large believe of supplements. I used to order from juicers.net (was a great site with low, low prices and I would receive my shipments in a few days). Now juicers.net takes you to a Vitaglo website. I thought that maybe it was the same company...different name...however I was sadly mistaken.
As usual I ordered several products ($325.00 worth). I was happy to see free shipping and a fast response time. I was somewhat unhappy to see no expedited shipping. I waited the ten business days that is suggested by the website and did not see any shipments. This is where things get good...er...bad.
I emailed the company and did not receive a response as of yet. I called the 800 number and did not receive a response as of yet. I looked on my credit card statement and found a local number for the business. When I called there was no cordial, professional greeting. It was like I was calling a random person from the phonebook. I spoke with somebody (unknown person) who advised that the order would be shipped today. Great, however this ship date is 19 days after I placed the order!
I did finally receive an email that showed that UPS has received a pickup for the order. I read several reviews (after I placed the order) and was suprised at this company's unprofessional attitude and business practices. I tend to believe that few people may be happy with there service after reading other positive reviews. I can't describe the frustration level that I reached when I order $350 worth of goods and can't get anybody to tell me when, or if, I will receive those goods.
I would highly discourage any buying from this company until they refocus their efforts on pleasing customers and following through with their advertised statements.
Just a note: I needed the supplements and ordered today from bodybuilding.com. I have already received a tracking number and should receive the package on Saturday. That is how business should be done."

I have ordered Vitamins/herb products (best prices I've found!!!), "several times" and never a problem. Shipped "free" ($50+ order) within 2 days, long expiration date.

After reading MANY negative reviews on Vitaglo- It would appear that they are good unless you have a problem. Their lack of consumer services..., is reflected in their "lowest by far" prices.
Consumer tips!- If I do ever have a problem with ANY online purchase-
1. I ALWAYS pay with #1PayPal (easy disputes...! I alternate pay with my CC, just in case...?!), or a Credit Card. I can always dispute a purchase back to PayPal or my Credit Card company (not as easy) for refund...
No, I don't own stock in PayPal- but PayPal has easily handled SEVERAL disputes for me on bad... EBAY purchases, and have always gotten me satisfaction with a refund/credit/product...! When you file a PayPal dispute- Sellers acct. is automatically frozen, until resolved...!
a. I always contact seller via "email" & keep a copy of ALL.../detailed notes!, for the proof that is required with a CC dispute!
b. I NEVER pay ANY online purchase with a debit/bank card or check, as this is virtually the "same as cash", and VERY difficult to get a refund... on! "
"I am finished with Vitaglo! I have been a good customer for over a year (hooked by their prices), and have spent a small fortune with them!
I have had two deplorable experiences with their customer service (or lack of) person. No one ever answers the phone. Emails responses, when and if you get them, should be considered an embarrassment to their company--no salutation, no caps (unless they are shouting, which then are tagged with multiple exclamation marks), and no signature (you never know whom you are dealing with).
Since May of this year, I have been seeking resolution for a rancid bottle of flax oil, to no avail. Phoning and emailing have proven ineffective. I have repeatedly requested a solution (even suggested a few of my own) in their Comment Box on each subsequent order placed with them. All have been ignored. Finally, after nearly four months, I discarded the flax oil.
On my most recent order (9/20/05) they chose to substitute the Nordic Naturals Orange Flavored Cod Liver Oil I ordered with Garden of Life Lemon/Mint Cod Liver Oil, when I had clearly stated (as I do with each order) in their Comment Box: Please! NO substitutes without a phone call first.
I emailed them, stating that I could not use the mint flavored oil in smoothies, and asked them how they would like to take care of the exchange/refund. I received no response.
Six days later I emailed them again, threatening a bona fide, negative response to the request I received from Yahoo to rate Vitaglo. I gave them 24 hours to respond. They did, telling me to send back the flax oil (apparently as my expense), but completely ignored the Cod Liver Oil issue.
Try this on for size: The person in charge of this company hires a Customer Service Representative who must be both ineffective and obnoxious, and their job description reads thus: Do what ever you have to do to assure that there are absolutely no returns or refunds.
They got the real deal.
To all of you giving those four and five star ratings to Vitaglo, I say this, "I, too, was smitten, but just wait 'til you need a little customer service. And wait . . . and wait . . . and wait . . .

I ordered a bunch of stuff Sept 28, 2005 and they usually ship the "next day" according to their website. Well, after 6 days of hearing nothing, I wrote them an email. Then called. Then emailed again canceling my order. Heard NOTHING back from them at all. Finally a week later, they send me a note saying they shipped my stuff!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! "VitaBLO is more like it. I've actually been ordering from this company for quite some time. Very impressed with the amazingly low prices. Who cares if I have to research the products elsewhere, right?
Anyhow....I placed an order on the 9th and forgot an item. So I placed another order minutes later and asked that they be combined into one order. The two orders combined qualified me for FREE shipping (over $50). So they charge my account immediately. A week or so later they ship...the 2nd order alone and charge me $5 shipping. Nice. I email and ask why the comments on my order were ignored, they said they'd get back to me. They never did.
I emailed back on the 20th and told them I needed an answer and if the order hadn't shipped that I needed to cancel it. So VitaBLO goes ahead and ships the order THAT day. Dirty tactic (this coming from a customer service manager). They never emailed again AND they charged me another $5 shipping. So I was charged $10 shipping for 2 bottles of vitamins and 2 homeopathic remedies, when it should have been free.
I definately wouldn't recommend them. I won't ever purchase from them again AND I've found another company with better service and better prices so who needs them? "

"One of the worst online buying experiences I've ever had.
I ordered five items from vitaglo.com. I got my box this morning from UPS. For starters, the box looked like something they got out of a trash heap. Totally beaten in and ragged. Opened it up - the inside was filled with TONS of random paper trash. Shreds, plastic bags, anything. I had to seriously dig through everything to get to my stuff. I got one 5lb tub of ON Vanilla Ice Cream. It had a HUGE dent in the bottle. The real kicker was that I had ordered a bottle of CLA to give it a shot. It was nowhere to be found. This was a $15 item that was simply missing.
So I sent their sales team an email saying, "What do I do about this?" I got back a one line response, no caps and not signed by anyone. They said three people had checked my order and it was there. I responded back asking what my options were because it definitely wasn't there. They responded again with one line saying they can't do anything."
