"This was a dreadful experience! This company is totally dishonest and fraudulent. They sell food products expired. And when you try contacting them, they only have an answering machine, they do not answer the phone, and they do NOT return your phone call, as they say they will in the recorded message. I waited a few days, and no return call at all.
I had to contact them by email asking for a replacement or a refund, and they had the nerve to say that the food was still good, although expired, as long as I kept it in the fridge! I told them I didnt want food that is Expired. They never replied to me again.
I am filing complaints about this company to several government institutions. They should not be allowed to run a business that sells EXPIRED food!! Its a scam. They probably get it for free from the manufacturer, and they are trying to run a business based on this. Dont buy from them, you will regret it. Such a waste of time, and the grief is not worth dealing with them. And to get your money back, you have to get a chargeback from your credit card. they will not refund you.

"I was originally scared by all the negative reviews of Vitglo.com but was captivated by a great price and free shipping so I ordered two items and got a confirmation email two days later. When the time had passed (they said that it would take 7-10 days), I emailed both the order and sales department and left a message on their 800 number (they assured on the message they would return calls within 24 hours). Several days later, no calls or return emails and no product. I just called (10 minutes ago) and spoke with Jana there (I found their local number) and she assured me that the person must have called me back and emailed me back because they always do. I explained that there was no message or received calls on my cell phone and she responded "cell phones are sometime a problem." But I have voice mail on my cell phone and there was no message. She then changed the subject and said maybe the item was not in stock and this is the reason for the delay. I explained that I already spoke with Mike there before ordering and he assured me the product was in stock and this is why I ordered. She then checked and said that they just sent out the product priority (she thinks yesterday) and that I should get it after the weekend. No apology or explanation and I still don't have my product. Does this sound like a hassle worth saving three dollars? Does this sound like a merchant you would like to do business with? Do I sound unhappy about this company?"
"I placed an order for over $110.70 which included a $3.00 shaker cup that was listed as being in stock on their site at the time of my order. When the order arrived the invoice said that the item was out-of-stock as there was another shaker of a completely different design in the box.
I tried to call Vitaglo several times but only got an answering machine so I sent an email. I let them know that the cup was not an acceptable substitute and asked that they either send the one I ordered when they got more of them in, or refund the $3.00.
All I got back was a string of poorly written, angry sounding emails that refused to address the problem. I tried to be polite, but was eventually overwhelmed by the unprofessional attitude I kept recieving and I simply gave up. I have never been treated this rudely by any vendor of any product.
It took a lot of my time and energy to learn that this is not someone you want to do business with. Hopefully this review will save others some of the aggravation I've been through."
"This company must have a lot to hide if it has to run an answering machine 24 hrs a day, calling it customer service while ignoring requests for order corrections, refunds or exchanges. I had a simple issue regarding an opened product they shipped me.
I left a polite detailed message with their robot as the recording said I should do and I waited for the promised return call. It never came. A week later I sent an email which was also ignored. A week later I sent a follow up email asking for a refund or I would have my credit card company get one for me. Within 2 hours, they shot me an angry email! No apology, no attempt to save a long time customer. 3 hours later another angry email telling me in bold letters that they refunded my money and to check my account! I sent them an email saying I will watch for my refund and I sent them a link to the Better Business Bureau where their main store Discount Natural Foods shows their sad track record earning them an unsatisfactory report due to a pattern of complaints and because the company has not responded to the complaints.
I never had to return an item with them until now and now I see what BBB and reseller customers mean with their review of that company. Plenty of others online to patronize. "
"They say to wait up to ten business days to receive your shipment. After 2 and a half weeks of getting nothing, I emailed them, and they said they are first going to ship it out today. Disgusting! These pigs should be sued for fraud by the NY Attorney General."
"I received an expired food product. They promptly responded to my email:

They actually expect me to foot the postage bill to send the product back? I think not.
Expiring 1-2 weeks after purchase I could understand, but this was expired before I even placed the order. They've since stopped responding to emails and phone calls (messages, actually, since they don't pick up the phone).
The funny thing is they changed the product's web page immediately after (or maybe right before) responding to my initial email. I'm glad I kept a copy of the original.

"UPS had returned my package to Vitaglo as damaged. Instead of replacing the damaged items with new ones, they simply stuck them in a different box and resent everything! Dented, busted up containers of whole foods and a 4lb protein jug that had been squashed and actually pushed past the seal - everything was coated with a fine, sticky vanilla powder. Ridiculous. No phone calls were every returned, of course."
"Was looking at your site and read the comments for this seller. I have NOT had any bad experiences with Vitaglo and have used them at least three times in the last few months. NEVER had shipping, outdated productor or customer service problems at all. Just wanted to put my opinions out there. Was I just lucky or were the others just unlucky?
