"A Vivd Seats agent told me verbally on the phone before I made my purchase, that my tickets would DELIVER by 10/20 (the day before the event). I agreed because getting the tickets the day before the event would be fine. He then charged my credit card $1,330. I received the confirmation email right away while I was still on the phone with him and immediately saw that the email confirmation had different information than what the agent told me verbally. The confirmation email said the tickets were estimated to ship ON 10/20 overnight UPS. This means there is the possibility that the tickets would not arrive until the day of the event, 10/21. However, this is an out-of-state event for us and we will be traveling to the event and will not be here to receive the tickets if they were to arrive on 10/21 instead of 10/20. He would not refund the tickets when I brought up my concern even though it had been mere moments since the purchase. So, he either lied to sell the tickets, or more likely just made a mistake and misspoke on the phone when he told me they would deliver by the 20th (rather than ship). Now I have no idea if I will actually receive the tickets in time to use them. And I have to decide whether to risk spending tons of money on flights and hotels for an event I might not receive tickets in time for, all because the agent told me wrong information. He eventually transferred me to customer service who said there is nothing they can do. They can't or won't fix their mistake. This is not a small amount of money for anyone, definitely not for me. How does this business have good reviews with service like that? How did this agent make such a big mistake and then not have any accountability or authority to fix it? Feels like a scam so he could sell the tickets. Do not use this service if you think you will ever need customer service from them. They just throw their hands up and refuse to help or transfer you to anyone with any authority to help. I would give negative stars if I could."
"After a death in the family, and with several months advance notice, VividSeats has refused to consider a refund of our ticket price following the death of our daughter in law, for whom the tickets were a gift. Their customer service unit refuses to provide any information other than that they will not consider refunds. They will not disclose the seller's name, and have yet to deliver the tickets so that we could either resell them or give them away.
