"Oh how I wish that I'd found this site before ordering from these people.
I ordered PC memory on 13th April and, after waiting patiently for it to arrive, queried the status on 10th May, to which I received a reply advising that stock would be arriving the next week. Of course it didn't so I requested that the order be cancelled and a refund made.
I duly received confirmation of the cancellation on 28th May, only to be told "I kindly remind you that the terms and conditions state that payments will be 30 days from the date of the invoice has been cancelled ".
What a joke. It seems that this company wants to take your money as soon as possible and then keep you waiting an unreasonable time for any refund. I assume that during this time they are receiving a nice little bit of interest.
The deadline for the refund is getting close now, but why do I have the feeling that I will have to work to get it? Fortunately, I am prepared to do that and will do everything I can to make sure that this company are brought to task.
Avoid.

"Awful service - I would never use them again. Item late eventhough I paid extra for quick postage. Nigh on impossible to get through on the phone. have to wait 30 days for a refund as I cancelled the order.
Do not use them - pay a bit more elsewhere for a decent service.

"I wish I had read some of the comments regarding this place before I ordered. I placed an order for an item which was "in Stock" in March. I waited for the delivery window to expire before contacting them and was told on the 11th april:

"They are now saying they will ship out the item tomorrow, on an express 2-day, meaning you should receiving the item monday or tuesday."

after complaining again on the 18th april i got this reponse from them:

"As explained your order will be with you in the next 3 working days , the order has been allocated and will be on its way to you . "

on the 25th April I cancelled my order as the item was not being delivered.

on the 26th April i was told "I can now confirm you have been refunded in full and we can now close your investigation."

Only the money wasn't refunded.

I contacted them on the 30th April, 14th May, 24th May, 29th May.

I also contacted them after this twice more by telephone the last (at the begining of June) time they said that they couldn't refund me electronically so were sending a cheque. the Cheque didn't arrive so I have had to instruct my Bank to try and recover my money for me.

If i can offer 1 word of advice if you must use these guys. make sure you use a credit card so that if you have any issues the recourse action is easier.!!

interestingly Finally after all the complaining I have now received a cheque from them dated..... 22nd June! - the same day i wrote this complaint. Seems that getting my bank involved has prompted them into action.

Moral of this story is: NEVER EVER USE WAE PLUS!!!!!!!!

"Absolutely terrible. The item I ordered had not turned up within their given delivery time, so I phoned to find out what was going on. Read this as: tried on several occasions to get through to them on the phone and finally, finally after lots of given up listening to annoying music on the loop, spoke to a customer advisor. He said they had stocking issues, although the item was still being sold as in stock on their website. I cancelled. Still no refund despite several phone calls (and even more attempts to get through, see above). I get palmed off with excuses everytime. They took my money on 1st April and it is now 21st June. I have received no contact from them whatsoever, since I got the first email confirming my order in April. It's always been I who had to make contact. I am now looking into whom I can complain to externally about this company to get my money back. I consider their action (or non-action if you want) as theft. I would NEVER use them again and suggest you don't.

In response to the comment from WAE+ on 22nd June: absolutely untrue. They said I would be refunded via my bank in April after I phoned to check what had happened to my order. No refund ever turned up in my bank account, despite me checking through all my statements regulary. I phoned again to check with them on 1st June. They said they had had problems with their card company which they were in the process of changing and that my refund must have got in the cross fire of this. They promised to action the refund again and asked for my card details again or offered a cheque instead. I opted for the cheque. When no cheque arrived, I phoned again and was told that they had sent one and would now have to contact the bank to cancel it and send me another. I have not yet received another. Also very strange that WAE+ have never once contacted me themselves until now that I have left the comment above on this website. Still waiting for my cheque to arrive, WAE+.....!

"Be very, very careful using this company.

As with many others, ordered a product(a razor gaming mouse) which they indicated was in stock. Again similar to a lot of other people the expected delivery date comes and goes and no mouse. Upon contacting WAE I find out that they still don't have it in stock (probably never did, and never will either).

I ask for a full refund back, and I am informed that it be credited back in due course, and then told it will be 30 days from receipt of the email.... At which point WAE will have had my money for over 2 months, and I have Had nothing but grief in return! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

EDIT : As indicated below, WAE managed to get its act together enough to sort out a refund. In my opinion, this is more due to be posting here, than to good customer service, but feel free to draw your own conclusions... As for the item being unavailable from the manufacturer, well oddly enough another order placed with a more respectable retailer saw the device turn up the very next day.

"UPDATE 21/06/12 --
On the day following my writing this review I was contacted by WAEPlus and they have now refunded the money owed directly into my bank account. They gave an explanation as to why the refund wasn't done previously. Why they didn't give an explanation before now I don't know. Still can't recommend them and I wouldn't buy from them again. --UPDATE

I ordered my item in April. I selected free delivery so the item was supposed to take 10 work days to arrive. After about 10 working days I cancelled the order as I'd not received a dispatch email and the item hadn't arrived.

Now here's the problem.

I CAN NOT GET THEM TO REFUND MY MONEY! They confirmed the order was cancelled and that a refund would be sent within 30 days. 30 days passed and no refund.

I've contacted them twice by via their web contact form since the 30 days passed and have just received 2 canned responses (both the same) saying they will investigate to try to speed up the process.

I've tried telephoning but no one ever answers.

My recommendation is DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. They appear not to be a serious business with intention of honouring their obligations.

I'm now looking into alternative ways to get my money back.

"Do not use this company! I ordered a graphic tablet, didnt come within the delivery time and I was told (When I finally got a reply from my emails) that they didnt have any in stock (although the website said the product was in stock) and that i would need to wait. So i cancelled my order and a month later I'm still waiting for my refund. They have useless customer services you can never get through to speak to someone and usually takes at least 2 days to get a reply by email. They are worth the hassle of saving a small amount of money. "

"After reading all the negative reviews i have decided to cancel my order ( i only placed 30 mins ago) since then i have been on hold for over 20 mins and counting. I wish iread the reviews before making my purchase, I was buying this for my sons birthday and picked the wrong delivery option and was trying to upgrade delivery .... at first then after the hassle of getting trough decided to see if any other people experienced problems WOW!
I cant even log on to there website to cancel order becasue my order number and password do not match ( they do because it wasnt that long ago i created them. Yeah i got two emails from you welcoming me to your company and a purchase confirmation but thats automated. Im on hold still pick up and speak to me see if you can change my mind.
UPDATE***

Just got a call from wae, Sarah the customer service rep was very nice and explained to me a lot of the negative reviews were over exagurated and assured me that she will deal with my order personaly and made me feel comfortable enough to upgrade my shipping to 4-6 days, She told me she will email me personally so I will have a direct contact address and get me tracking details. I have not yet had those details but am confident I will with in a hour or two. My only regret was me being to premature with my opinion of this company based on neg reviews. . Thank You WAE and Sarah for your great customer service.
I will defo shop with you again.

"WARNING - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FIRM.
17/4/12 purchased a Samsung Bluray writer that was supposedly in stock with a 2 week free delivery. After several futile attempts to contact them it appeared 5 weeks later.
Unfortunately the writer did not work & so was returned for a refund (would have had a replacement but declined for obvious reasons). Its now 19th June and no refund has ensued. Other firms manage this fairly promptly. WAE+ cannot be contacted by phone and the few emails responded to lead no where.
I suppose its now down to the Small Claims Court.

"This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, the tablet they sent was faulty and had scratches all over it. I am still trying to return it a month later, customer services are extremely poor, I am in doubt whether I will ever get my money back. "Having waited patiently for two months for my product to be delivered I finally had to cancel my order. During this time the product ordered showed as being "in stock" and after several calls and e-mails to WAE+ they assured me the product would arrive "next week". I found out their refund policy is to wait 30days from cancellation after having taken money from my credit card two months earlier. The fact is then that this has simply been a way for them to obtain money for as long as possible and blatantly lie about product availability and delivery to keep it for even longer. I am still waiting for my refund... "

"I really wish I would have read all these negative reviews before purchasing from them. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WAE PLUS.
I have experienced the same problem as everyone else and I'm worried I'm about to loose my money.
I was also drawn by the free delivery and then astonished to discover this is a 10-12 day wait. My item didn't arrive after 13 days so I contacted them and they said that there was a delay in delivery.
It's now been nearly a month since I ordered and I don't have my item.
Customer services told me it was delivered yesterday which it wasn't, and now no response.
I have tried calling at all hours of the day and they never answer their phone.
This has inconvenienced me greatly and caused me a lot of stress.
Wae plus are con artists.

"UPDATE: Tues 19th June - scooter has been delivered as promised! Still missing my envelopes but certain they will arrive in next few days. Scooter was sent directly from supplier as Sarah in Customer Services promised. Very happy! Will use WAE+ again!

I've spent all morning trying to call WAE+ to find out where my sons razor spark scooter is but the answer message just says to send an e-mail which I've already done, but as yet no reply. Decided to google and found this site, and as I can see WAE+ quickly reply to posts on here I'm hoping they will reply to me! Ordered 27th May for delivery this week, and until yesterday my order only showed a big green tick, but now there is also a note that says P-items allocated - what does that mean? Scooter is still shown in stock on their website, although has now increased in price by £5. Wishing I had gone to Halfords, but as I don't rate them either I thought I'd give this company a try. Will be happy as soon as I can speak to someone!

Good news - a lovely lady called Sarah just called me from WAE+ at 13.50 to apologise about my order, and has promised I will get it on Wednesday. Fingers crossed, and I will post an update to let you know!

"I try to purchased a hard drive with WAE+ and it was a mistake.
Their website showed they had stock but they were out of stock and I was not informed of this until I had to contact them to enquire whether the order was on its way. I waited for a week and they didn't even bother to try and get in touch to let me know that they were out of stock. They debited my account for the full amount of my order on the same day I made the order. I have still not received my order or the refund I have requested on several occasions by phone and by email. Two months and I still don't have my money back.

DO NOT USE WAE+, THEY ARE THOROUGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARE COWBOYS.
