"The laptop I originally ordered turned out to be facing supply difficulties. I was offered the option of choosing an alternative (or refund) and was given a delivery date of 14 June 2012. I was also told that the carriage I had paid would be refunded as a good will gesture.
The alternative model actually arrived yesterday, the 12th, i.e. 2 days early!
The item received is superb, full specification U.K. stock and I am delighted with it. I have saved almost £100 when comparing the price with other suppliers.
I am now awaiting a refund for the price difference of the items and also the carriage costs. When I do receive this I will be 100% happy with WAE+"
"Ordered a 27" BenQ screen on the 21st of May and mistakenly opted for the free delivery. Woe is me!
Delivery was promised for the 8th of June to the 12th of June and guess what? My phone calls have been ignored, emails ignored and no item.
Now I have read some of the horror stories I am wondering if I will actually get anything or if I have been ripped off!

The 'in stock' item we ordered was about £7 less than at a reputable major online retailer and boy do we regret not using them, who are leagues apart from WAE+ in every respect, especially customer services, so let us explain.
The item ordered was an expensive £140 Lego set for our son's birthday, ordered on 24th March 2012. On 30th March we tried ringing customer services wondering when we could expect delivery, but after hearing only a pre-recorded message numerous times, emailed instead and received a response to say that it was ordered on the standard delivery option of 10-12 working days which in reality takes 2-3 weeks (!) however he said he would expedite it so that delivery would be on Thursday 5th April, which was perfect but strangely the order status remained unchanged throughout - ie. it did not say it had been dispatched. Incidentally, he said he would ensure this happens and asked that we leave good feedback as a result.
We emailed WAE+ on 4th April, advising them that we looked forward to receiving the item the next day, but when that day came, started to worry when nothing arrived as agreed. On 5th April, we contacted WAE+ (again via email as no answer via the telephone) advising them of the situation and heard nothing, only to find that the order had suddenly changed to 'order dispatched'. Obviously this only occurred as a result of them receiving our email.
The delivery eventually arrived on 7th April, but unfortunately this was too late and as a result of not receiving the item on the day agreed, we had to drive 40 miles to another retailer and purchase the same product in order that our son was not left without his main present on his birthday.
We sent WAE+ a returns request via the website the same day (5th), and had no response on how we were to return the goods whatsoever, so in the end we had to pay for a tracked courier service which was delivered and signed for on 20th April. After hearing nothing again, we emailed again on 24th April showing proof of delivery and requesting refund. Still no response and no further contact was ever received from them despite various emails chasing.
Telephoning WAE+ customer services on the 0845 number is completely pointless as you never get to speak to anyone, only to the pre-recorded message. In desperation, I eventually found through internet searching a land line number to call, which I tried on 18th May and at long last successfully managed to speak to someone. I explained the situation, and although he said they had never received my parcel, changed his mind when I had emailed confirmation of delivery. Our online account had then been updated to goods received. He said that at that moment they could not refund on my credit card as the system was down but could send a cheque, which was to include the cost of return postage as it was not our fault.
Surprise surprise, no cheque was received, so we rang the alternative landline number again on 30th May and went through the entire thing again and was advised to provide our bank details so a bank transfer could take place, which we did. We were advised that it would be In our account that day. Two days later we rang THE SAME NUMBER again, when still no refund had been provided, and spoke to the same person who answered as WAE not WAE+ and that we were speaking to the wrong company and that we should ring the usual 0845 number. We said we had spoken to him two days ago and he said it was a very common name and then put the phone down!
So, now you have heard my story, and the fact that we are still waiting for a refund in full and have no idea when this will be received, so be sensible and use a company who is a pleasure to deal with, NOT WAE+. Other online retailers we have dealt with were all brilliant, taking pride and care in making online purchasing a wonderful experience, which is how it should be.
This is our first ever online review and are hoping it will instigate a response from WAE+ in the form of a full refund. If it doesn't,t then we will commence court proceedings and report the company to the local trading standards office.

"Really bad experience...
I asked for a refund of my order yesterday, 1 month after the order and still no product.
In the meantime I have wasted time chasing their customer services, which takes on average about 20 minutes holding per phone call if you're lucky enough to get past the automated response informing you that the operators are busy and disconnecting the call.
The automatic response will direct you to the 'fast reply' option on the website as an alternative which I have tried on 2 separate occasions throughout the month and received no reply.
When you do get though to phone system, the service team are pleasant enough but always need to ring you back, some of whom do and others don't and you are required to chase again a day or 2 later.
Last week, in order to get this sorted I even offered to drive to the mailing centre in order to collect the parcel myself. WAE customer services gave me a consignment number and address of the mailing house and upon driving there I was informed by the courier that the consignment number had been returned 2 days previously! Wasting more time and petrol on faulty information was the most frustrating thing about this......
Until I rang up yesterday, held on the phone for 20 minutes (again) to get through, explained what had happened up to that point, then waited 5 hours for a call back where I was told that I had missed the delivery 3 weeks ago (I arraged to work from home on the required days and received no card in the mail for the missed delivery). If I wanted the parcel redelivered it would be another £6. I had had enough at this point and asked for a refund, where they said that the refund would be £6 short anyway for the first failed delivery.
So in all, I have paid £6 for a month of frustration.
I then ordered it of amazon (which was about £7 more expensive) at 7pm yesterday and it arrived at 9:30 this morning! Best extra £7 I've ever spent :-)
I may have just gotten unlucky a number of times with this order but I would advise that somewhere else with a reliable customer service team and prompt delivery is the way to go and worth the extra couple of pounds.
(P.s. this is the first time ever writing a negative review which is an indication of how annoyed I was of this whole experience)"
"UPDATE: 1 week later despite a promise of delivery for today,12/06, there is no product , nobody answering the phone , can't log on to the website ( got a new password from them , doesn't work of course ). Lost a whole day today sitting in waiting for them .
THIS COMPANY IS A DISASTER:DON'T TOUCH THEM .THEY MAY BE A SCAM.
UPDATE(2): in fairness, each time I wrote a review on this site the company responded with a phone call within minutes .My product arrived this morning and everything was as ordered so no complaints on that front , but it would have been better if their phone and customer web response worked .Their customer interface at the front end needs a lot of improvement .

"The product price was very good but it did take 13 days to arrive, so only 'late' by a day according to their delivery estimates (still a long time for a UK delivery).
The factory seals on the box were open: not sure if that was a good thing or a bad one. Good if they were broken to check everything before dispatch, not so good if the product had been used or was unreturnable as it had been opened.
Otherwise an easy website to purchase from and happy with the price and product."
"Order placed on 05/04/12. WAE+ telephone on 20/05/12 to inform me that my ordered product was not in stock. I chose an alternative and e-mailed this back to WAE+. I had to telephone them to discover what was now going on. Delivery promised by the beginning of the following week. Mid-week and no delivery. Seceond telephone call to chase up. Goods finally arrived the following day."
