Lack of policy understanding and organizational cohesion.

"I ordered a video game and opted for in store pick up thinking I was being smart. Worst decision ever, I should of just paid for shipping. I ordered at around 1pm and the email stated it would be available for pick up same day. When I hadn't heard anything by 6pm I figured they must of just forgot to notify me that they had it ready. Mistake.

I went into the store and the assistant manager (who was very pleasant and helpful) told me they didn't have the item. I was shocked because it's a very popular game that had been out for about 4 months. We walked back and they in fact didn't have it in electronics. I was then told my only recourse was a refund. I said I didn't want a refund and would just come back in a couple games when they had it in stock. I was then told the refund was my only option. I said that can't be true, I had two options when I purchased, I chose the pick up but now that they couldn't complete that, they should just ship it to me. She wasn't sure if that was a option so we called Wall mart online, they didn't have a backdoor number so that representative could talk with rep so we waited about 15 minutes. The gentlemen on the phone stone walled the nice store manager, I then requested speaking with their manager, the gentlemen said the manager couldn't help me and as I was about 45 minutes into the process I just told him I didn't appreciate the 'help' I had received but wished them all well. The minute I leave I get a email saying that they will have my order ready in a couple days.... which is what I had asked from the beginning.

Walmart will never even compete with Amazon in the online marketplace if they can't get cohesion or figure out that time is money for people who shop online and mistakes should be compensated.

"I ordered the printer and paid Walmart. I was sent the wrong parts in the printer package. When I contacted
Walmart. They basically said "tuff" you have to deal with China.....not our problem. Walmart took my money
but won't stand behind anything. I could have bought it cheaper direct from China... I only bought from Walmart
because I thought it was a good local company ..... not

Walmart ****!!!!!!

"I bought a collectible online at Walmart and some toy reseller, and they said it would come on February 13th. Days passed by, weeks. It never came. I asked my mom to check the track number, and apparently they canceled my order. What the heck???!!!!? The reason I’m mad is because the collectible I bought was super expensive on other websites, and they were selling out quick, so I bought off Walmart, which was CLEARLY a BIG mistake. Now, even if I get my money back, I still won’t be able to get the collectible. All my mom could do was send them a text asking why it was cancelled, and I’m still waiting. I literally was waiting and anticipating my package, only to find out that it’s not coming? Nope, I’m done. I am officially done with you, Walmart. And one day, EVERYONE will be done with you, Walmart. Until then, Sayonara. "

In store shopping

"My friend and I had recently visited the store in Kannapolis, NC, and their front end customer service were aweful and rude. Definitely need to hire better staff with less of a hateful like attitude. I do not believe I will return to this store anytime in the future. "

"this store is a bunch of bs. I had to buy night/ day quill for my sick mother and the lady took my id and she said to me are you over 18? I said no and she said to me you have to be over 18. For sure if her daughter came in and had to by night/day quill for her sick mother. She wouldn't be able to. But I can go to any other place and get night/day quill, but Walmart I cant get night/day quill. Walmart is a bunch of bs. "

Horrible experience

"I ordered a 8” memory foam mattress online and was supposed to get it shipped to my home, and spent $190.00 on it, to not even receive the right order. I was tracking the package and seen the fed ex guy when he arrived, and when seen him walking with a package I didn’t see the mattress. When he dropped it by the door it was a toddler Mickey Mouse bed that cost about $49 at Walmart, I told him it was the wrong package, he read the tracking numbers and the tracking numbers were the same, they sent me the wrong package after I had spent $190.00. When I called to tell Walmart they sent the wrong package and I needed another, where I was able to pick it up from the store, they told me, the only options was to get another one resent, which will take 4 days instead of the 2 day shipping, the first order was supposed to be, but was the wrong order, or to get a refund. I decided to just get the refund, and I just went to walmart to buy the mattress myself at store, which I should of done originally, and thought about doing before I placed the order. Now I know that I will not be ordering online from Walmart ever again."

Failure to deliver

"I ordered a part thru walmart... waited 4wks for delivery without any contact from Wal-Mart only to find out I wasnt receiving product. Then it took almost 2wks and several texts/emails before my money was returned. "

No reasonable returns

"Found a sweater via Google shopping, and purchased it through Walmart from Clothing Shop Online, and the garment was thoroughly disappointing. But since Clothing Shop Online does not offer any access to leveraged postage rates for returns, the return shipping was over 50% of the purchase price of the garment! Walmart does not take responsibility for any of their third party sellers. The return request had to be handled via an online request form which responded via my email, and then entirely my responsibility to ship. Although the return policy does state that return shipping will be paid by the consumer, it is entirely unclear that no provision what-so-ever will be made to assist with return shipping. This is completely beneath any standards of online shopping. "

Pet stroller

"Horrible! Front wheel does not spin. Back wheel does not spin. Cup/tray holder has chunks of plastic missing sharp and very noticeable. Also was very scuffed up. Handle had deep cracks all over. Looks riped almost. Poor stitch jobs loose strings every were uneven stitching. Plastic part were it folds is broken missing chunks of plastic. Only good thing was it came super early. Not worth almost 40$ in this horrible condition not at all!"

Be aware, It has a very different return policy than Walmart

"Be Aware, WALMART.COM IS NOT THE SAME AS WALMART. YOU CAN'T RETURN AT WALMART. INFACT YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RETURN AT ALL.
Never again, Last time I will ever order from Walmart.com.I ordered Majic Jack on Walmart.com. A few hours later I found the same product at Walmart store so I bought it thinking that when the other one comes in I'll just return it. So when it arrived I didn't even open it and went to return to Walmart. I was told this was bought from 3rd party and I should contact them. Upon contacting them I was told that I have to pay for shipping as well as 20% for restocking fee even though it was never even opened. That is 60% of the cost meaning that I will only get a refund for 40%. We are often told that if we order on Walmart.com we can just return at the store. In this case not only I could not return but the return policy is very different than Walmart. Basically no returns. Who will return an unopen product for only 40% return? At min their return policy should match Walmart. I was told by the merchant just keep my product and just return the one you bought from Walmart.

They messed up the order and then 2 replacement orders...

"First time to order something through Walmart.com. The package (2 items: a Polaroid camera and film paper) was supposed to be delivered as a gift on February 16 to a home address. The person receiving it is leaving the US for good on the 21st.
For some reason, UPS delivered it to the Walmart store. UPS had no idea where the package is, so I went to the store on the 19th. I discover that if the store receives a package, they send it back to the warehouse without notifying anyone...
So I ordered a replacement through Walmart.com and was promised a next-day shipment (February 20). On the 20th, FedEx informed that the film paper will arrive on the 21st, and the camera wasn't even shipped yet. Seeing that I can no longer send the gift, I call Walmart.com and ask to cancel the whole order. The cherry on top is when they said they can only cancel the film paper (since it was already shipped), but they had to wait until the camera is shipped so I can cancel it. Their whole system is messed up, but I'm sure this review will not matter at all : )

Never again

"I will never purchase another item from walmart.com. they mailed my package to some other town and are now sold out of that item and I have called written and spoken to them half a dozen times over a 3 week period and have yet to recieve a refund or the item. I'm sorry but f#^* walmart.com and their customer service. The machine I purchase is supposed to clean my blood. I have high blood pressure and a blood clot and they have prevented me from being able to purchase another item withholding my money like they have. I am livid that the company can do any business at all with the lack of empathy and sense of urgency their customer service dept has. The time before the time I just called them now the guy told me he would process my refund and the girl before that said that she understood how dire a situation it was and woukd even put a rush on sending me out a replacement with one to two day shipping. Nothing either one have them had told me was true. Because this last time no called ahe sauid that she would initiate my refund now. Wtf!!? I'm over here trying not to die and these a holes are toying with people's lives. I'm so **** now I see how people can lose their damn minds...."

misleading advertisement

"Good afternoon, purpose of my complaint, and dissatisfaction with the information on the walmart websites. In 15 days they occurred 3 times. the walmart.com website showed that the store nr. 5882 had in stock the sku product 810830023144 for a price of 79.00 and I moved for more than an hour to go in the store and when I arrived said that it has not been in stock for a long time this product. This has already occurred two more times in the last fifteen days. I find a lack of consideration by the customer with false information to attract customers to the store. you should see this policy that harms people with time and fuel costs. more with the fact that today has reached my limit, and I will use all means of communication to inform people that Walmart will report prices and stocks available that do not match the truth. I will make several bad reviews of your company and I have s pictures of the sites of walamrt informing these false advertisements"

Not even a star

"I placed my order that I supposed to receive on Feb 16th. It is already the 19th and the package has not arrived. Walmart doesn't care because they send you to a third party. The third party doesn't even have a phone number. The package has not even got to the USPS facility yet. I NEED WHAT I ORDER AND NOBODY HAS AN ANSWER FOR ME. I usually not write reviews, but who is responsible for this? I made the order through Walmart and nobody seems to care."

Severely disappointed!

"Ordered a nursery dresser and it arrived damaged to my house so I had to return it. Tried to reorder the same dresser but the price had jumped $70. Walmart refuses to match the price of the original item that came to me beat up. "
