"My 6 and 8 year old boys wanted bikes for Christmas. I found 2 great Hyper Nitro BMX bikes on Walmart.com and decided to order them with my Wal-Mart credit card. We had ordered other items with these which we received about a week after ordering. The bikes didn't show up..they still said "delivering". Checked a couple days later and they now said delivered to Arkansas. I live in Florida. So I called Walmart.com and the guy told me he saw they were delivered somewhere else and not to worry they would be resent and delivered to me by December 14th. That day came and no bikes. I called walmart.com again and they said they will be here by December 16th. Okay. That day came and again no bikes. So I called again and the lady said they are on back order and she can't tell me when they would be to my house. I explained to her they were the "big" item Santa was giving my boys for christmas and what should I do. She told me to go to my local Wal-Mart and they can look up my account and swap for bikes in the store. So...I go to my local Wal-Mart, my husband and kids are with me but he took them to a different area so they wouldn't hear our conversation. I went to customer service and waited for 20 minutes, got up to counter and she said I have to go in the back to the Pickup area. Went back there to be told I have to go to customer service. I told her they just sent me here! She pulled a manager up and the manager said they cannot access my walmart.com account and do anything. That I would need to cancel the order myself. As this is going on my husband comes up and let's me know he spoke to a employee that works in the back and they have those exact bikes there ( not different colors like my original order) . So I told the lady I was cancelling the order on my phone, to please hold those bikes for me because I needed to wait for the refund to be put back on the card in order to purchase the bikes in the store. She put my name and number on the bikes and I left. 2 days passes and I return to that store and I purchased the bikes with my Sam's credit card since my return hasn't been put back on the Wal-Mart card. Sigh of relief that I finally have them. About 2 to 3 days goes by and I'm looking to see if my refund has been put back on my Wal-Mart credit card so I log in and what do I see...the bikes are being shipped and will be there that night! So I call customer service again and they tell me that they don't see a cancellation and the bikes would be delivered to me that night. In reality it was 2 days later. I thought about returning the bikes I purchased at the store ( since the ones I ordered online were different colors and I had preferred that) but my husband said don't do anything until those bikes make it to our front door. So I waited for the delivery and could you believe I received 1 kids bmx bike and 1 ADULTS Mountain bike! Thank God I held onto the other ones. So I called customer service and they said I can just bring them to my local store for a return which is what my husband did. When he got there he was told (and shown on the screen) that it says these bikes that were wrong are not returnable. Ugh! So what did I do...called walmart.com AGAIN! told them they won't let me return them and he said they would have someone pick them up. They picked them up on December 26th. It's now December 28th and I'm still waiting on my refund. I have never had such a hassle in my life!"
"I ordered my daughter a Colman gas powered mini bike on line. Delivery date was set for Dec 21st or sooner with shipping status email confirmation. Pilot was the shipping company for this bike. The afternoon of the 21st no bike so I call Pilot to see where our daughters Christmas present status was. Pilot said they had no tracking # that matched mine or better yet no delivery of any packages in our zip code. They told me to reach out to Walmart.com and see if the had any information for me. After waiting on hold for 15 mins the Customer service rep told me they had lost my package during shipping. This item was out of stock nowhere in stores and Walmart.com offers to refund my money three days before Christmas. I may have felt a little better if someone would have contacted me and confirmed they had lost our package instead I have to hunt it down. I can see losing a watch, cup, ring, but how does a dirt bike get lost in shipping !!!!!! Go figure! "
"Thanks to Wal-Mart's many bilingual signs i am doing better in Spanish class and now everything time I get asked what is exit I just think of walmart and know it's salida."
"I ordered a gift for my son on December 9th from Walamrt and it was coming from this seller, DZT Worldwide LLC. As of 12/26/17 it had yet to arrive at the post office to be sent to me. When I emailed the seller prior to Christmas, this is the email I received.

"For Christmas, my 3 year old daughter, Ella and 3 year old god daughter, Maddie asked Santa for balance bikes. Every time they saw Santa (and anyone else who would ask) they happily said this was the one item they could not wait for. They have been being extra good in hopes of this special gift.
I went to Walmart to purchase one and it was not available in the store, but a helpful assistant informed me I could order it online for store pickup before Christmas. I thought this was awesome… and right there in the store I ordered two pink balance bikes on my phone with a pickup date of Friday, December 22nd…. Just in time for Christmas! I was so happy I had this convenient option and could not wait to pick up the bikes.
On Friday, December 22nd I went to the pickup counter of my local Walmart to get their Christmas presents…. And the bikes were not there. I was informed at the pickup counter that they would not be delivered until Tuesday, December 26th… the day after Christmas.
This was of course a huge let down. I stood there and stared blankly at the man at the pickup counter and then at my phone – with the email that clearly stated “DELIVERY BY FRIDAY DECEMBER 22nd” in big bold font…. and could not process what he was telling me. What would I do for Christmas?! Right there in front of everyone in the pickup section of the store the tears came and would not stop. How could I explain to my girls that Santa was not going to bring them what they wanted? What was I going to do? The man at the pickup counter could not care less about the dilemma Walmart put me in and informed me there was nothing I could do but call 1800Walmart. He did not even offer an apology and quickly wrote done the number to get rid of me.
I immediately called the customer service number right there in the pickup section of the store. The first women I talked to was able to offer no solutions and seemed to be trying to get through the call hurriedly. I asked to speak to her manager – and the next guy I was transferred to was a complete ****. He had no emotions in is voice and it felt like he was reading off of a script as I sat there crying on the phone with him asking him to help me find a solution and try to help me save Christmas for my children.
Finally, he was able to transfer me to someone in another department. This women was the first person I spoke to who was empathetic. She patiently listened to me as the stress of the holidays vomited out of my mouth in the form of dry heaving cries as I frantically tried to picture how I would explain to my daughters that Santa was not able to deliver their gifts. I asked to receive a refund for the bikes for this dilemma and still receive the bikes on Tuesday. She gladly processed this and apologized for the inconvenience I was experiencing.
As I sat in a bench in the pickup counter of the store ugly crying to this women on the phone – there was a Walmart employee named Bradley working at the pickup counter. He was kind enough to give me sympathetic glances as he overheard this conversation on the phone. Unlike the first man I encountered at the store, Bradley was willing and eager to help me in any way he could. He even started looking on his phone to see if this item was at any other Walmart in the phoenix metro area. I was also frantically trying to search for anywhere that sold balance bikes in the area on my phone. Unfortunately, Walmart and every other major store did not carry this item in stores.
Bradley sat there with me and listened as I cried to him about the pressures of being a perfect mom around the holidays and how I felt like such a failure because I was letting my girls down. He came up with the great idea of having me purchase helmets, kneepads and elbow pads and wrapping those up with a printed picture of the bike so my girls knew it was coming.
Christmas came and my daughters opened up their presents, including the helmets, kneepads and elbow pads and they were ecstatic when they learned they were getting the bikes they asked for. I explained to them that Santa wanted them to pick it up in the store themselves and that we were going to go on Tuesday to get them at the pickup counter at Walmart where Santa had them waiting just for us.
I received an email from Walmart.com Tuesday morning detailing that my order was ready for pickup at Walmart. I packed up my 1 year old son and my 3 year old daughter and off we went to go see Santa’s special delivery with plans to pick up Maddie afterward and test out the new bikes.
When we arrived we found out that only one bike was there. I told the guy at the counter that the order was for two bikes not one. He went in the back to get a manager as I pulled up the email clearly stating “Quantity: 2”. My old friend Bradley came out and informed me that only one bike had made it to the store and the other one was being delivered later in the day and that he would personally call me when it came. Disappointed, and trying to figure out how I was going to explain to Maddie that Santa only had one bike not two at the store – I left to go home and wait for a call to head for a third time to Walmart to pick up this impossibly challenging Christmas present.
Later that day I got a voicemail from Bradley as I was putting my kids down for their naps. He let me know that the bike had arrived, but that I was not allowed to come pick it up because it was not being released for pick up because the order was refunded.
He was nice about this and even let me know that he tried to call the Walmart.com phone number for me, explaining the situation to everyone he spoke to on the phone. The people he spoke to on the phone told him I had to call and that the bikes should not be given to me if a refund was given… which is not what I was told when I called customer service on 12/22.
Luckily, my children were napping, because once again the tears came pouring down my face as I tried to understand what was going on. I called 1800Walmart and was transferred three times until I began to speak with Kiki. Who was very empathetic and understanding to my problem – but was not able to offer me any solution.
She informed me that while the third person I spoke to on 12/22 – Allison – may have told me I would get a refund and the bikes - that the notes she wrote in the system only say that she processed the refund and nothing about me still receiving the bikes. As Allison was not working today, she was unable to do anything further until another manager reviewed this incident number… and that could be days from now. I am aware that calls are recorded – so I was very frustrated that this phone call from 12/22 could not simply be pulled up and listened to so it could be confirmed that was the solution offered to me. She let me know the only way I would be getting the bike was if I went in and re-purchased them. Which of course seemed like a sick joke at this point.
Currently - the second bike is being held hostage from my daughter at the Walmart pickup counter. It seems Santa only cared enough to deliver one of my girls presents, which has been such a fun thing to explain to two toddlers as they take turns riding only one bike when Santa promised them two.
At this point - Walmart has robbed me of hours of my life. I have spent 45 minutes on the phone on 12/22 with customer service and 60 minutes on the phone today. I have traveled to Walmart to try to get the bikes three separate times (with a 1 and 3 year old – that is SO easy). I have spent hours crying over this and trying to creatively think of solutions to work around this inconvenience and ways I can still make this gift magical for my girls.
The irony of this situation is that I choose to order this gift online for store pickup after hearing how easy it was from a Walmart employee. Instead, this experience has been by far the worse shopping experience of my life. The additional stress this has caused me in an already stressful season is enough to put a person in the looney bin.

"How will they ever compete with Amazon? I TRIED to give them my business over Amazon, but it was impossible. My credit cards (plural) kept getting rejected after a 20 min. delay, and no actionable explanation. In addition, you can't "continue shopping" after viewing the cart, and you can't correct a gift message after viewing the cart. You can't order the same thing for different email addresses without starting over. What a disaster of an online experience. I've never complained about a website before--it was THAT bad."
"Ordered a IPod Touch 32 GB on 12/19/17 to be shipped to my daughter in Arkansas on 12/22/17 in regards to the "so-called 2 day shipping". 12/22 rolls around and still no delivery, after checking status of order I found out Walmart canceled it on their own! After speaking with a rep (and getting absolutely NOWHERE) I was given an apology and told it was canceled because of an unknown security check and that since I "verified" my information the security check would be "overridden" Not only was the rep confusing with his explanation but also couldn't provide me with a updated delivery date. "Next week" doesn't qualify as an logical answer to my question. Worst shopping experience ever, way to ruin both me and my daughter's Christmas Walmart!!"
"I ordered a Christmas present for my boyfriend on 12/18/17, and my expected delivery date was 12/20/17 (otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it). Okay, fine, plenty of time. Tracking didn't update until the 20th, with "Billing information received", and then it gave me a new delivery date of the 22nd. Still in time for Christmas, but not the 2 day shipping I was originally led to believe I would be getting. It's the Holidays, so I'm a little more lenient with shipping. Checked shipping periodically throughout the day of the 21st, and the 22nd. At 2 am on the 22nd, it finally said it was leaving the ORIGIN FACILITY. It hadn't even left the retail building it was being shipped from until the day it was suppose to be at my house!! From three states away!! (which, I checked, was at minimum a 9 hour drive.) It also gave me a new delivery date of 12/26. At about 7:30pm on thee 22nd it scanned in at a UPS facility about 20 minutes from my house. I called the next morning (because it said the phone lines were closed for the night when I called at about 7:45) to ask if I could just intercept the package there, and pick it up so I could have the Christmas Present for, ya know, Christmas. I was told that I could pick up the package, but I would have to wait until the 27th (a Day later then if they just deliver it). I asked why, if Its currently sitting in the building I would be picking it up in, would it take an additional day to get, and why I couldn't just snag it now (it was about 9am), and they said the processing intercept the package would take an additional day. So I've learned my lesson to just buy from Amazon since they have their S**t together. (Sorry this is a UPS and Walmart rant, but if Walmart had shipped it on time the issues would never have happened) "
"Thought it was Wal-Mart not other sellers. Just like Amazon. All about money and no customer concern. Sellers from China size charts inaccurate and won't do anything to better their ratings. Unless you want to waste money DON'T SHOP ON WALMART.COM"
"DO NOT BUY FROM WALMART.COM
Not all items walmart.com sells are from Walmart, rather they are from what they call ‘Marketplace’. These items are not refundable at Walmart stores. You will have to go through the hassle of contacting the manufacturer and returning any items directly to them at your expense, plus a 20% restocking fee!
Walmart does not advise you of this when you place the order, and remove themselves of any responsibility if you have to return the purchases!!!

"An items that was suppose to be here on December 22 for a Christmas present was delivered to Florida when I live in South Dakota. So now they are resending and wont be here till after Christmas. One thing after another. I will NEVER order from Walmart again! Taking my business to Amazon! Dont order online with this company!"
"On November 10, 2017, I went to Wal-Mart in Forest Park, Illinois. I ordered my Mother a 3 Tier Tier Round Cake for her 65th Birthday. I also requested strawberries in there as well as her name & Happy Birthday on the rim of the plate that holds the cake. I paid $140.00 for the cake and was expecting it to be made right the day of my Mother’s big event. Not the case, I picked up the cake on November 17, 2017 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Her event was scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. Upon picking up the cake, it was brought to my attention that nothing had been written on the plate holding the cake. I spoke to management about this issue & the shift manager wanted to write the words on the cake. Almost like they was forcing me to do it. That’s not what I wanted nor paid the bakery to do it like that. The only thing they could offer me was $10.00 in cash after being up there for an hour complaining and waiting on Management. I looked passed that and proceeded to the party and when my Mother went to cut the cake, you guessed it… NO STRAWBERRIES in none of the layers!!!! I was beyond ****!! I spent a total of $5,000 on her party. We rented out an elegant hall, food catered, decorator, camera guy and D.J. I put a lot of effort and money into this party. I return to Wal-Mart the next day and once again poor management skills. The manager was acting as if he didn’t care. They only offered a refund but what about my pain & suffering & my time I wasted going back and forth to Wal-Mart. Let’s not forget the gas in my car. I don’t understand how can you take an order and not fulfill it. I spoke with the store manager and all he could offer me was a $20.00 gift card to Wal-Mart. What they have to understand is that they messed up a special day for my Mom & just had that I don’t care attitude. I will NEVER go to that Wal-Mart AGAIN!!!! They will never get the opportunity to ruin a special day in my life again!!! And I suggest you the reader to NEVER order cakes from their bakery again!!! PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The entire store is very unprofessional from Upper Management to the hourly paid employees!!! I recommend you to spend your money somewhere else!!!"
"Ordered several blankets as Christmas and never got them because Walmart sold too many and while they did not have a problem taking my money and holding it for 2 days for several items and on 2 different orders. I was very disappointed with my shopping experience this Christmas! Then ordered something for my son that was to arrive by the 22nd and that night they sent me and email saying it will now be coming dec. 28th!!! No help with customer service they said they were not able to expedite the order. what a joke! I would of ordered this item through another store and paid the extra 5$ to know it was free pickup so I would have it in time but 6 days after it is supposed to be here is too much for nothing back to the customer that now gets to explain to her son he has to wait. "
"I purchased two fitness watches with a heart monitor. What arrived is not what was represented. I immediately began a return only to find out I did not order from Walmart but from Super Bright, a company in China. It has been a constant battle to try to return these for a full refund. First, they would reply. I escalated to Walmart and starting receiving bizarre emails stating this was not what I ordered even after sending them a copy of the receipt. So far, I have called Walmart twice and emailed customer service once. Called Super Bright repeatedly, they do not answer and have replied to their daily emails asking what my issue was, every time I reply and they ask again.
The latest email offered my $7 for my $33.98 purchase and I can just keep them. I tried to post this on Walmart's site but it wasn't printed. I read their terms the second time and you are not allowed to comment in the review on customer service or shipping. I wanted to somehow get it out there to be cautious of what you are ordering from Walmart and where it is coming from."
"This Christmas of 2017, the WalMart commercials show smiling WalMart associates in yellow vests helping people to open checkout lanes for faster service. Balderdash! This is false advertising. I went to WalMart and the checkout lines were so long. I waited about 45 minutes in line to check out and even though there were many unmanned checkout lanes, I did not see one additional checkout lane opened and no associate with a smiling face and yellow vest was trolling to assist customers to a faster checking. I do a lot of shopping at WalMart and expect better. WalMart can win me back as a customer, but they need to do something to makeup for that long wait, which was worsened by a medical condition. I was in misery standing there that long. Come on WalMart; you're the big guy and you can do better!"
