"I purchased a item at 97.00, a few days later walmart lowered the price 18.00 to 79.00, I requested a refund of the difference within 7 days and was denied. "They had what I wanted namely Scoop Necked Cotton Long Sleeved T-Shirts for ladies. The shipping cost was super reasonable. I was able to get two shirts bundled for only .97 cents for shipping. I never did get any tracking info but the stuff arrived six days before they said it would. I was able to use Paypal which makes me feel more secure about on line shopping. This was my first experience with Wal-Mart and not their last. I wish they sold their Ol' Roy Dog Biscuits on line. The only thing with the shirts is that they run small. I am really a 16 and the 20 XXL fit me perfectly. "
"Ordered a game on Thanksgiving, 11/22, paid for rush shipping because I wanted it ASAP. Walmart said it would ship on Monday 11/26 and arrive Tuesday 11/27. On Weds 11/28 (the day after it was supposed to arrive) they finally shipped it. On 11/29, two days after promised delivery, the package arrived -- with someone else's order! Now I have to go through the hassle of shipping someone else's order back.
So two takeaways:
1) Walmart.com's delivery dates are not to be trusted
2) You may get someone else's order

"I have been trying for the past 24 hours to place an order online at Walmart.com. The website has had continual "temporary difficulties arriving at the destination requested". I sent in 4 emails and finally had to call the local tore to get the 800 #. They were no help what so ever! "Bad customer service. Purchased two cell phones with service. Week later they introduced promotion to offer $100 gift card on each. Called customer service if they can offer me similar deal as phone was purchased just a week ago and I am still eligible for free return for full refund. I went onto Walmart.com to order four new tires for my Jeep. I entered my Jeep info and the standard tire size and an optional factory size were both given to me. Since the optional size was about the same size and over $20 cheaper per tire I ordered the optional size. The total was $474 and I had to shipped to the New Castle DE store. The order was placed on Oct 30th. Everyday I checked the status of the order and it always said "being processed". Finally on Nov 7 I click on the "track package" link and I notice the item was delivered to the store and signed for by Tvornes. I call the store and after trying for over 2 hours because no one would pick up the phone a very rude lady told me she couldn't help me because Site to Store wasn't open yet and then she hung up on me. I then called the customer service # and spke with someone would all she could do was tell me the tires were there and I could pick them up, I asked about why I never received any emails, as promised by Walmart, to let me know the tires were in? It had been 4 days since the tires were received in store. She told me "I don't know what to tell you". Funny, as soon as I hang up within ten minutes I start to receive a bunch of emails from Walmart telling me my tires are in. At this point I know there is no way I will trust the New Castle store to install my tires so I call the North East MD store and explain the situation to the auto dept. I am told no problem, bring them in with the proof of purchase and we can install them. I bring them in on Saturday, Nov 17 and then am told that they will not install the tires because they are not the size that is on my Jeep currently. I ask where on Walmart.com does it tell me that. Or when I called and spoke with the auto dept no one told me that? I was told go talkto customer service, can't help you. SO I go up fron to customer service and again, I want to know WHY Walmart.com will allow me to purchase tires for my Jeep but won't install them? If Walmart will only install same size tires then Walmart should have a HUGE disclaimers explaining as such. Customer service then told me that my only option was to buy the other tires and pay the $20/tire difference. I told customer service I will not pay for their mistake and return the tires. After waiting 10 min for a return, the woman starts saying they can't return the tires. I told her no way, they were just picked up from Walmart on Nov 11 and there is no way that is past when I can return them. Eventually they end up returning the tires as general merchandise so I can get a full refund. This whole situation proves how little Walmart cares about customer service and they simply want the quick buck. It was nothing but problems from the moment I ordered these tires. Trust me, I will never set foot in another Walmart again! I also will make sure to let everyone I know about the appalling way I was treated when it is without a doubt Walmart's fault!"

If you want to block tracking you will not be able to use either Walmart or Target websites. Because of the way they have designed their systems you will be stopped at some point in the buying process.
Kohl's uses all of the same trackers as the others but if you want to block, with Ghostery or Ad Block Plus. you will not be stopped at any point in the buying process.

"I don't think walmart fully knows what they are selling online when it comes to certain items. I had ordered a pre-order card for a particular video game. No where on the website do you pisc your "local store" as your pick-up place. It is only conytained in the description but after ordering you get NOTHING to verify this. I went to the walmart the day before the game was released and nobody in the entire store knew what I needed to do to verify that that would be my pick-up store. Nobody had even ever encountered this question ans it was like talking to walls trying to explain it to them. All I wanted to know was get verification that my reserved game would be there. I left with a promise that they had enough games and that I should not have an issue picking it up the next day. Contacting walmart.com was even worse...the replys were in grossly broken english and they kept saying I had received my item which was the "pre-order" card. After one last e-mail explaining it so easy that a kindergartener would be able to understand they reply was how to turn in a "IN STORE BOUGHT" pre-order card andf not the one I purchased online. Horrible, horrible, non-english speaking customer service people online. Never buy online....got to the store instead...at least your communications will be with somebody here in the states. "

I purchased a lg optimus 1, it broke 5 months later, I returned it they sent another one same phone. It broke 6 weeks later same problem blank screen. I sent it back 8-31-2012 and I got a concord t mobile phone with no battery and no back piece. today is 10-22-2012 I have had 12 phone calls to customer service and 8 emails and I still have no battery or a back cover! This has happened to all the people who have returned the lg optimus 1. "
"It is unfortunate that most rely on the inexpensive prices and price matching that Walmart offers, because as a company I would not do any business here because the management treats it's employees like garbage. I myself do not work for them, but some in my immediate family do. The manager at the Peraland Texas location (off of Dixie Farm Rd.) is a major prick. He had no people skills and would rather yell in someones face instead of finding out what happened. It is like dealing with an angry adolescent all the time. I myself do not shop at this location any longer because of it. I just do not understand why people feel they can belittle those that work for them and expect stuff to get done. And because of his asinine mentality, the co managers and leads are no better (there are support managers there that are awesome and need to disregard this review). For the most part though, as a cooperation Sam's need to go in a fire a lot of the management at this store and start over...starting at the top! "I was nervous about using site to store after so many negative comments, however was pleasantly surprised! My order for a crib and crib mattress came right on time. I went to the store and some one came to help me within 5 minutes. While I waited for him to get my things from the back, at least another 6 associates asked if I had been helped! He brought my things out, carried them to the front of the store and then loaded them in my car for me. Very friendly service!"
"Do not, I will say it again, DO NOT order online unless you are 100% positive you will not cancel the order before it is shipped. Once it is shipped and if you made a mistake forget it. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for seat covers and cannot cancel the tent that will need to be returned.
Second of all I purchased an online gift card to send to someone so they can print it off and use it in the store in abother town. Can't do that either and you can't get a refund either!
I am not happy with Walmart at all."
