"Walmart site to store is really, really bad!!!! I ordered a pool and it was marked being in the store. When I got there it wasn't in stock. They canceled the order with out asking if I wanted it shipped to the store. Not to mention now my money is being held up in pending charges. Now I can't even get another pool until my funds are released. I will never do site to store with them agian. Im not a fan of walmart in the first place so I highly doubt I even shop there anymore. The lady at the customer service desk was rude, but she prob learned it from their headquarters because they were just as rude. I only wanted my money released, or a pool around the same price."
"Ordering process was easy and the price was unbeatable!"
"FAST SHIPPING, ALWAYS GOOD DEALS!"
"There were no problems with my order, but I realized after placing my order that my connection to the page at the checkout was "partially encrypted". What's up with that?"
"I ordered one single DVD that was in stock on walmart.com and chose to have it shipped to my nearest store. I got a confirmation 2 days later and it said the DVD will arrive in 11 days at the store... Seriously, it takes 11 days to ship a single DVD to a Walmart store!?"
"I had ordered a few household products via the website and they were damaged in transit via fedex. The package had an exception, and was sent back to walmart. It wasn't until 3 days after the exception when I contacted customer service that they actually issued a replacement. Most reputable companies would at least expedite the shipping, but walmart instead sent it a SLOWER method (Newgistics to USPS) in 2 separate packages. It looks THREE weeks for me to receive my package from the date I ordered.
Will not be ordering again."
"I shop on a regular basis at the Danville,IL Walmart and spend considerable money there. The store has a good selection of items and the employees are usually helpful. But there's one big complaint I have about the store. I love plants and flowers and do alot of gardening. The people at this Walmart do not take very good care of their flowers. I have bought considerable flowers there, but always notice that many are dying or about to die from lack of being watered. I have a friend who works there, and she says many are thrown away. What a waste! I should think they would have to account for their losses. It was quite cold here last night, and when I was out looking at flowers on their lot, I noticed many nice ones had died. It seems to me they could take some of them in or cover them up. Other stores have some in a tent or have shelter over them. Also, I've never understood why they don't have a fence around their large bags of soil, rock, and such."
"My daughter and I kept trying to take our car to get the oil changed and tires rotated and balanced at the Walmart in Hattiesburg on Hwy 98. Men who came in after us were served before us. This was happening to both of us and a continuous basis. I don't know about my daughter but they kept trying to charge me more than they were supposed to. I bought the tires there. I had the paper work. It would take us several hours to get our oil changed. We finally started complaining to each other about it. She decided she wasn't going back. It's right around the corner for me and I have free tire rotation and balance. I took my car one more time. Tom treated me horribly. He would not wait on me. When he finally did wait on me, he told me to take my car to the wrong place. Another guy had to tell me I was in the wrong place. He was so rude to me. I took my car to another Walmart. I realized the Walmart on Hwy 98 had kept my paperwork the last time I had been there. (keep in the glove compartment) I had to pay more because of that. I called customer service to complain. I emailed. I even called the manager. I never got an apology or anything.
All I can say, if you are a woman, don't get your car serviced at the Walmart in Hattiesburg on Hwy 98. Tom will probably not have the oil changed, or battery replaced, or whatever you are paying for done and you will have to wait for men to be serviced first.
I'm not sure about the date."
"Sometimes you can find the same item cheaper on their website. They have cheap shipping rates but takes quite some time. They offer free store pick up option that also takes really long. Overall 3 stars."
"Ordered Canopy Suit hangers from Walmart, using their Ship to Site (FedEx) option. Received them very quickly, very well packaged (two boxes), and everything went so smoothly. Will definitely continue using this free shipping option. Hangers are great too!"
"I found the best tires for the best price on Walmart.com. Ordered on line and had them shipped to my local store. They notified me via e-mail and went to pick them up. Had already paid for them on line and no shipping was charged. They were exactly what I had ordered and had no problem getting them. Very smooth. Highly recommend Walmart.com. Thanks for the easy purchase. I had compared prices at various local stores and on line and they beat them all."
"In late December 2011, I purchased a king-size Spa Sensations 8" memory foam mattress from Walmart at the bargain price of $245 (it's now $269 – a 10% "roll UP"; they only tell you about the "roll backs", not the "roll ups"). I wrote a comprehensive review of the mattress after I'd slept on it for 3 weeks, and again after 2 months, both of which were mostly positive, primarily because it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on.
But here's the strange thing: Before I purchased the mattress, I read many of the reviews, of which there were over 1,000. My first review was for a short time one of the 1,000+. When I went to write the 2nd review, I noticed that Walmart had zapped ALL the previous reviews. On the date I'm writing this RR review, there are only 7 reviews of this mattress on Walmart's site. I wrote and submitted another one. It's not there.
The question is why? I think I know the answer, and it's worrisome. While I love the comfort of the mattress, it has off-gassed (put off gaseous components, primarily isocyanates, the major component of all urethane foams) from day 1. It was, of course, stronger after the mattress was initially expanded (they are shipped compacted), but is still evident 2+ months later. Since I have allergies to some substances, I reacted to the gases in the form of vertigo at night and dizziness spells during the day. Other purchasers of foam mattresses for all sources have reported the same thing (Google "foam mattress off-gassing"). I mentioned this in the first review. . . but after 2 months, the vertigo/dizziness are no longer a problem, because the off-gassing has diminished and/or my tolerance for the gases has increased - a fact that I mentioned in the 2nd review. Walmart apparently took umbrage at the "off-gassing" comments and not only zapped my reviews, but will not allow me to submit additional reviews, despite the review page saying my review was submitted.
So, it appears that one cannot trust the reviews on Walmart, because they are suppressing reviews that contain ANY negative information. Caveat emptor!!!"
"I recently tried to purchase a computer from Walmart online. There was some kind of error with my address matching my credit card, so I tried both my PO box address and my home address, it wouldn't go through. The next day I see they put almost $500. in holds on my bank account and I never did get to place an order. My bank said, if they would fax a letter they would remove the holds immediately. Walmart said, no it would take 3-5 business days to remove the holds, even the supervisor refused to send the fax. I never got my order placed and they tied my money up for a week. That's just wrong. "
"very good tricycle, my son is now 18 months old, he just love thomas and friends, so we bought this thomas and friend tricycle. though he cant reach his legs to pedal still, he just sits on it and pushes it with his legs. it is very light weighted and easy for kids to lift it. storage space is also nice in it"
"Don't listen to their Electronics staff when they tell you 1) something WILL work on your computer; 2) you can return OPENED computer software. In fact, don't listen to them at all. I spent $119 on a Windows 7 upgrade that did not work on my computer, and they would not refund my money. Their posted return policy does NOT state that you can not return opened COMPUTER software (it says VIDEO GAME software). I protested and they gave me store credit."
