Shop with confidence

"I decided to order my Tag Heuer Carrera 02 from the website rather than by phone. I had no issues ordering, in fact the transaction went very smoothly. I decided to submit my wrist size and knew it would add a few days before shipping. I elected to have my watch shipped Next Day Air. I paid a little extra but I wanted to know exactly when my watch would arrive so that I would be available to sign receipt of it. A few days later I got my shipping confirmation with an estimated delivery time of 1030am the following morning. My watch arrived at exactly 1020am. My Tag arrived as advertised. New box, new watch, manual, warranty card, Norton Shopping Guarantee, and the links that were removed due to sizing. I did contact customer service with a question and found the associate to be very professional and helpful. I would definitely purchase from Watchmaxx again. "

Packaging was atrocious / presentation TERRIBLE. **BUYER BEWARE**

"I ordered an Omega watch through Watchmaxx.com. I was mortified when my package arrived.

As I opened the box, I found a 2nd box wrapped in 2 UPS letter packages (one would assume to prevent damage). In that box labeled "beige", was the box for the Omega watch I ordered.

In that box, the watch was not strapped into it's little cushion, the packaging was smudged & a large white tag with red writing on it was attached to the watch. I was planning to give this to my boyfriend for his 50th birthday, but it looks like it was either stolen or a counterfeit. Not at ALL what I expected.

Just imagine giving an engagement ring to your partner with a large white & red tag on it. Classy? I think not.

Keep in mind this is a $6,000 watch.

I was told by the sales manager that I should not be expecting a "white glove" process as they are not an authorized retailerand that indeed this is how they ship all of their products. Of course, NONE of this is disclosed or published anywhere online or on their website. Not anywhere does it say how the product will be shipped or how it is to look.

Then, to add insult to injury, they want to charge a 3% restocking fee, I have to pay to ship it back,and they effectively told me I'm out of luck. I have photos of all of the above & everyone should be aware of how these items are packaged, shipped & presented.

Had I had any inkling that this is what I would be receiving, I would have run for the hills.

Have the worst return policy ever seen

"They charge you the shipping cost when you return the good, plus the shipping cost of return.
In addition, they charge 3% for regular credit card payment after you return the good, 7% for AMEX.

I lose 40 dollars just look at the watch one eye.

Great watch better price

However there was paperwork missing. Contacted the company and the issue was resolved. Really great to see fantastic customer service these days.

Disappointed in WatchMaxx

"I am not one to give a bad review and I wish this was a better experience. I purchased the Tag Heuer Aquaracer Quartz Black Men's Watch for my husbands 40th Birthday and it stated that it comes with free gift wrap option, which I chose. When I received the package it was in a little brown shipping box, then half-fast wrapped in a USPS bag and bubble wrap with no gift wrap. I emailed customer service to let them know and instead of apologizing I get an email saying:
" Unfortunately, the gift wrap option in your order was not selected.Regards,Rachel"

Really disappointed. Even if I didn't select gift wrap, they should have packaged the watch better and responded more professional. I don't spend $1200 on a watch very often...or ever, so to have such a poor experience is a bummer. The watch is beautiful but I would spend your money on a retailer that is going to treat you right.
