"I ordered two items on Dec. 13, a turtleneck and a beautiful blue print scarf. The turtleneck came, well wrapped and in a cardboard box. The scarf never came. Nor did I get an email update on the order status of the scarf. I checked online and it showed the scarf as "canceled," which I did not do. I phoned the customer service number showing on the web site. I phoned it, went through several layers of bot messages, including confirmation that my order had shipped. In order to speak with a human I had an extended on-hold wait time. Apparently they "oversold" the scarves and so other people received them and I was among those who did not. No explanation, no apology.
Having just begun shopping at WHBM this year, I spent several hundred dollars, enjoyed their merchandise, and had intended to be a long-term customer. However, based on this experience it will be a long time (if ever) before I shop here again.

I also received a call on Friday telling me my order was ready. I work weekends. So I went on Monday. I also tried to set a time to pick up but that is not an option on your email. I’ve a long time customer and have always appreciated the level of service your stores have offered. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous you have to ask. There are ways to coach and use these experiences to educate without having to put it back on the customers. Do what you must.

"I almost always shop online, though curbside pick-up is relatively new to me. White House, Black Market did it right! They came out timely, put my purchase enclosed in a nice zippered wardrobe bag with nice wooden hanger and popped in my backseat. Other items where mailed to me.
I don't think I've purchased from WHBM before, but I everything was true to size and I was so surprised that I liked everything! That never happens! Really happy about my purchases. Some have gone on to an even better sale. Hopefully they will do a price adjustment for me!"
