"Horrible experience. Bought our phones in August. One started having problems soon after. Our emails have been ignored and phone calls have not gotten us anywhere. Very frustrating to deal with. Also had supposedly "Free" activation; we have yet to see the $70.00 credit to our account. Called four times and were told everytime that it will be on our next bill. Do yourself a favor and go directly to your wireless provider; you will save yourself a lot of hassle. *****UPDATE:12/21/2011. After four months of unsuccessful trying, we finally received our activation credit. I don't understand, why it had to take a bad review to get this resolved. Our daughter's phone, however, is still virtually unusable and Verizon refuses to even look at it because we purchased it from Wirefly. Have sent three emails to Wirefly over the course of five weeks and never gotten a response.
***UPDATE***12/31/2011.
Dear Wirefly customer service representative: After checking with my carrier (Verizon), I was told that they have no record of having ever being contacted by Wirefly. Also, how would Verizon have any information as to whether our phones function properly? Why can't Wirefly simply respond to our emails? Why does it have to take an unfavorable review to get a response? After seeing the large numbers of negative reports left by other customers, I am inclined to agree that Wirefly's customer service leaves a lot to be desired. You have my order number AND phone number; you also have several emails from us that remain unanswered to this day. We will be waiting for your response.

Received a phone call from Wirefly this morning. Customer service rep was very helpful. Very pleased with the professional way he handled the situation and worked towards resolving it. Hopefully, we won't have any more problems. Thank you!

"I used Wirefly for nearly 4 year with no problem. The retail store (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) is so expensive, and wirefly have the same exact model for a lowest price! I recommend everyone who need a high-end device for a lowest price."

"Great services and I have had excellent shopping experience with Wirefly. I definitely would buy again as well recommend their services to family and friends.

I upgraded 2 phones actually, 9810 and HTC Radar 4G. CS responses were very prompt and shipping was extremely fast. Both devices are as advertised and have zero issue from day 1 till today.

A minor hiccup is about the plan switch. I got HTC Radar 4G to replace the old BB9780. I was told by the rep that they could retain the BB data plan just in case! It was not the case so I had to call TMO directly to sort things out. In the end, all works out well. Prices are cheaper than direct TMO store either web or local store so I am a happy camper.

"We had a great experience with Wirefly. The ordering was easy, they delivered quickly and the phone was exactally what we ordered. If I had to choose one thing I liked about the transaction it would have to be that they shipped lightning fast. we got the phone in just days and Verizon had ALL of the information. It was a fantastic deal. I only wish I had found them when we upgraded the other phones on our plan."

"I initially had a few issues with the customer service at Wirefly, but after speaking with a customer service manager all the issues were QUICKLY RESOLVED. I saved a lot of money on the phones I ordered, over $200 difference from Verizon. I am very happy with the end service that I received at WIREFLY. I will have to spread the word about the outstanding prices. Thank You for the expedited shipping and great phones. I look forward to doing business again."

"Bad customer service at this company.

Saw a phone that was on sale for 80 dollars. On the page where it shows the price there was an option for returning customers who have an upgrade, I clicked it, price recalculated and was still the same. It said I only had a couple of hrs left for the sale price.

Proceeded to order the phone as an upgrade customer and checked all the boxes that say I am an existing customer who wants to keep his nuber etc.

Got confirmation email that said my total charges were $84.99.

Next day got a call that they needed to verify my security question. Verified everything and they said no problem my phone will be shipped soon. Nothing about the price.

When I got the phone they said my price was $159.99! Called in and the service rep told me 159 was the upgrade price and i originally clicked on new customer, then when they saw my number is an existing sprint account they changed the price automatically.

I said that im sure i clicked upgrage option. He said 'no you did not". Told him I am absolutely sure and know the difference between the two having upgraded before several times. His reply, simply "no you did not".

Wow, they changed the price on me, didnt notify me, then said it was my fault!

I guess I have to return it now, something tells me i will have some surprised to deal with there as well...

"Great buying experience. I had purchased the sidekick 4g on the web site. Clear and easy ordering. Fast shipping. All fees were up front. They were able to charge my 18 upgrade fee to my bill so I didnt have to pay it out of pocket like I would have had to do if I went directly through T-Mobile. "New phone arrived while wife was out of town with her old phone. Planned to activate the new phone when she returned. Wirefly transferred her service without us doing anything to activate her new phone, leaving her with an inactive phone on her trip.
This is not acceptable. Be aware, if you travel and your new phone arrives while you are on the road, your service will be terminated on your old phone leaving you with no cell service. Customer service said there was nothing they could do to reactivate her old phone regardless of the fact that we had done nothing to activate the new one.

"As of right new Wirefly sucks!!!!! I ordered and told them my current plan is 59.99 with an additional 26% discount as I get corporate discount with my employer. Phone came in today, verizon site now says im enrolled but the 900 im use to paying 44 is not costing me 79.99... I told the lady I get a discount. This phone is going back tomorrow. Also my free gift cell phone car holder was sent in a bent up box with what looks like broke plastic pieces."

"Wire Fly is the WORST company ever. Misleading Ads and I won't even get into the customer service depatment. I love talking to people in India, but I tried to get an American on the line. What a joke, trying to speak to a US citizen is just as impossible as trying to get one of their service reps to understand what you are saying. I will never do business with Wire Fly and I think that any company claiming to be out of Reston, VA should be ashamed of themselves. REVISED***12/6/2011 This went from bad to crap in the course of 3 days, I just spent the last 2 and a half hours at my desk dealing with a problem that Wire fly created. I typically don't mention anyone in specific but the gentleman named Stephan really dropped the ball today. He made my day hell and I will never ever, ever shop or recommend this company to anyone in the near future. This guy advised me he knew of a problem with my account and order earlier in the morning and thus waited to the end of the day to bring it to my attention. This is after calling for the same person almost 10 times yesterday just to get a hold of him to be given the good ole,"He's in a meeting, and he is with a customer" routine for the better half of 8 hours. I finally get a call back a day later just to hear that there is an even bigger problem with my account. There are other sites to buy phones from, PLEASE USE ONE OF THEM and save your time. "

"I made an order of three phones in June. Wirefly said that there is no activation charge. But Verizon charged $25 each for activation fee. I called Wirefly asked about activation fee. They told me that I had to wait for 90 days to get refund. I started to call them about two months ago for total 3 times. Each time it took more than one hour and I was told that they needed to contact sale's department. I still don't have refund yet. I tried to call them many times today, nobody answered the calls. Never use Wirefly again!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Order process went smoothly. Attempted to activate,couldn't,called wirefly customer service & that's when the problems really begin.The "team" determines bad sim card.okay, that happens.what is unacceptable is that after they say they'll ship out new card and i'll get email, the next day after no email and call they say system takes awhile and should get one soon. next day no email & now cust rep says won't get one. After 25 min wait for supervisor, call is cut off.Bad form."

"My experience with Wirefly went off without a hitch. I'll admit I was very leary about ordering through Wirefly. The order process over the phone went well. The CSR answered every question I could think of. I could have done without all the addons they tried to sell me, but that is how they make the money. Not so much on the phone itself. There are a lot of complaints about Wirefly, one thing to remember... you always hear when someone has a bad experience, you rarely hear when someone has a good experience. Do your homework, truely listen to everything the CSR is telling you. If you are confused about something or couldn't understand them, ask them to repeat the part you missed, or explain it further. Follow their guidlines and everything will go okay."

"Cheap phones. However, the Customer service is horrible. Sure, they are very good about getting you a Customer service representative quickly when you want to Order a phone. However, right after you pony up the cash for an order, their CSRs stop trying to help. When I ordered the phone, they ported my number way to early and caused me to lose phone service for a full business day.

If you try to call back about a problem with a issue with a phone, they put you on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnect your call if you enter the order number wrong once. Still working on resolving the issue with my disfunctional HTC Amaze.
