"Let me begin by saying that this is a genuine review (not supplied by wirefly--as I suspected about other positive ones I'd read in the midst of multiple negative reviews):
Thus far, I am thoroughly pleased with my wirefly experience. I am an longtime (since 2003) Tmobile customer, who has only had two phones throughout the length of my time with Tmobile...reason being is that I am naturally a very cautious consumer and haven't been able to afford an upgrade. Tmobile has tried to get me to upgrade for years now, as I have been out of contract for years. I so happened on a wirefly advertisement thru a promotional opportunity provided when doing online banking. I researched thru google searches with the subject wirefly reviews, and was extremely apprehensive, given so many negative reviews; however, I proceeded to their website, reviewed their policy, and asked many questions before committing. I ordered the My Touch 4G, which was free with an upgrade. I was initially excited once the phone arrived, but became disappointed shortly after, once the speakerphone began malfunctioning. I thought for sure (after reading reviews warning of their shady practices) that they would not honor my exchange and would falsify the condition in which I returned the phone, but I was very careful to return everything in the same condition received (even the original plastic film & protective tubes). To my surprise, my return & exchange was honored and I am pleased with my phone and the service received. It allowed me to take advantage of a much needed upgrade in an affordable manner. As of now (approximately a month later), I give Wirefly a thumb's up, but check back for any updates, should my satisfaction change. "
"Cheap Prices and fast shipping. The only thing i didnt like was that i got charged for mobile device wipes. I didn't agree to buying them and they were just thrown in. i also dont know if the customer service section was outsourced, the two customer service agents i talked to were hard to understand. They were nice and polite, i just couldn't understand what they were saying sometimes. Everything else was awesome, i will be back for my next phone upgrade. "
"wirefly has no scruples.they offer a blue tooth to get you to order and then don't give it to you.they use the name kmart celluar but don't honor kmart coupons.then lie about it when caught on their taped phone calls.how can anyone trust these guys.they should be put out of business forever.they would rather lie than eat when they are hungry.this is about a 10.00 coupon.they dont allow you to talk to supervisors because the supervisors have to dub the recordings of your conversion.if you must deal with them use visa for your own protection.believe me it works when used in disputes.lets see them resolve this.recordings work both ways and any one can record on an answering machine.with the economy so bad you still have thieves like this preying on us and getting away with it for the most part,not so with me .as long as they post their number i can call and ask.even a month from now.you people out there don't give up thats what they feed off of.this is just one complaint of many that will be posted against them and kmart.com who knows sears may become involved.how fun is that.this my second shot at them now lets see what they do.now i am looking for more complaint boards as promised.is this still worth 10.00.yes it is for me.just showing them i mean business.o.k. wirefly go for it. edit update: i may have been quick to judge these guys and i am truly glad they have a corporate office and a chat room for complaints.these were my last hope of resolving this issue.needless to say i am changing this review and my rating of this company because of the super quick results and my satisfaction.i went to the chat room to resolve my issue and i must say the lady i chatted with was the nicest person to deal with.she handles the first issue flawlessly and then asked if there was anything else she could do.the second issue was handled in 45 minutes even though she had to escalate it to the higher management it was still handled flawlessly.using the chat room kept everyone relaxed and at a slow pace which resulted in a better understanding thus reducing stress.this in turn made resoloution easier and faster for everyone concerned.it makes me see this company in a whole different way.the response from this review was really quick showing me they are concerned about the customer and are willing to resolve the issue to stay in good standing with their customers.i failed to mention my first encounter with this company was flawless and now they have renewed my faith in them once again.my issues with them were resolved before corporate had a chance to get involved.it was nice to know they were involved and concerned about this.anyone can make a mistake but it is how you correct is what really matters.that goes for me as well.they did their part and now i am doing.for this they have my highest rating and respect. "
"Well I am going to say Wirefly actually came through sent new phones they arrived today I am impressed the phones seem to be working great. It did take my hubby calling their Corporate office to clear up this issue but they came through. "
"I read the reviews on this site and was a little nervous, but it seemed that people ordering new lines were usually OK, so I took the plunge. The phone price was over $100 cheaper than on the cell carrier's website!
Everything went really smoothly. I had to phone them to give them some more info. The guy I spoke to spoke perfect English (some people have complained about the customer service reps being hard to understand), and everything was taken care of in about 5 minutes. Lines were activated same day and my order arrived right on schedule. The 'where is my order' emails kept me updated the whole time. I will definitely use Wirefly again!"
"This is a horrible place to order a mobile phone from. They "accidentally" ran credit under my husband's name with my SS#. Got a fraud alert placed on my credit report. They are incompetent and all support is based in INDIA. Stay away they have no idea what they are doing."
"wirefly made a big problem for me some how they forward my cc to sprint who activated an account in which sprint took 100 dollars from me after this wirefly contacted me and said we need 100 dollars for the deposit i said thats crazy sprint already took it.they said not are problem if you want the phone we need 100 dollars for a deposit. long story short i cancelled everything. now im stuck with sprint cause wire fly made a pin with sprint and even a security question that i cant answer. im stuck i cant cant even cancel because i have no pin i dont even no phone number idont even have phone i have been totally scammed"
"I placed an order today for a samsung galaxy and upgraded my contract with t-mobile. The price of the phone was great and I knew I was up for an upgrade. So, I went ahead and ordered. However, after I placed my order, I looked up reviews of Wirefly and saw that they had many poor reviews. As a result, I became concerned about the validity of my order. I called customer service about an hour ago and asked for an approximate date of shipping on my new phone. The rep told me that she could not give me an estimate since the phone was out of stock. When I asked if she could tell me if it would be a week or a month, the rep said she was not able to tell me when I'd get it. They have no clue when they're getting more in stock. Really??? I'm very annoyed because when I placed my order today, the sales person did not mention that they had no idea when my phone would be shipped. If I'd known that, I would have been less inclined to buy from them. I know I should have read the reviews before I ordered. Now I'm really worried that I'm going to get scammed. "
"Great service! I ordered my Samsung Epic Touch on 8/20 at 4pm and had it 8/23. I had a friend that ordered thru letstalk and he waited almost 2 weeks to get his phone. He preordered and waited that long.
My only regret was they were offering a free bluetooth (WIREFLYBLUE55).
I didn't find the code till after I placed the order. I tried calling up the next day but was told I had to do it at the time the order was placed. I'm not going to ding them on that though. I should have looked it up before hand.
Overall a great experience! They emailed me at every step to let me know how my order was progressing. I would use Wirefly again and recommend them to my family and friends. They have the best prices and turn around time.
EDIT/UPDATE: Today 10/04 the fedex truck shows up and delivers the Bluetooth. I was surprised to say the least. Wirefly is grade A in my opinion. It really goes to show you when a company goes way above and beyond to make sure every customer is happy.

"i bout an HTC EVO 4go and got it sept 1st. yeah it is nice and all BUT i am having serious technical issues, it would die or turn off by itself and not come on until i took out the battery, as of yesterday my phone died and it will not charge, i took the battery out all night and it will NOT come back on again.. I am way too broke to have these problems, i dont have a house phone and i have a child so it is VERY important for me to have a cell phone, i can not afford this kind of problems.. this is inconvenient for me!!! I dont have any 400 dollars i dont even have 100 dollars for wirefly to take out as a deposit!! i NEED that replacement phone, after all this company has sent me broken phone anyway and i shouldnt have to pay for their mistakes, i dont care if they say it will be refunded to me.. i dont even have it to lend out. so this needs to be corrected or i am taking this ALL the way!!!!!!! "This is my second time arround with Wirefly and I couldn't be more satisfied. They always have the newest and best phones at the lowest prices. Wirefly makes it easy for me to decide what my best move should be when my contract is up. I never go to the carrier's stores, they cannot compete with Wirefly!"
"Heard about wire fly on the tech bargain feeds, looked almost too good to be true. Long time multiline tmobile customer, so the upgrade eligibility tool was great, no call or visit to retail store required. I bought a sensation by upgrading one of my lines assigned to a senior using a feature phone. My only concern was that the required data plan would end up on that line and the terms of service from wire fly requiring no downgrades to the purchased plan extension for 2 years would prevent me from moving that data plan to a useful line. At worst it would require switching sims around, a pain but not the end of the world. No worries though tmobile let me move that data plan after the fact without hassles, I guess because the overall service was essentially the same ... Not a downgrade. Of course I didn't provide any more detail than was absolutely necessary, just made out like it was a mistake which line the plan was on.
Since I was afraid to ask these questions before hand I hope this allays the fears of other tmobile customers. Really the easiest upgrade I've ever done."
