"Great prices, great products...
The Webpage is a mess. Trying to navigate it is unbelievably tortuous. Enter everything on one page, then enter for the next phone and you are alerted to missing information from the first order...Sure enough. Have to reenter it again. Then you have to do the same for the 2nd phone.
But! The worst is having to talk to the support people, who of course are not American, have no idea of how to do anything.
Simply trying to update my credit card for the monthly 'guarantee' charge took several phone calls and I'm still not convinced they got it right....And of course, you can't do that on a webpage..You have to talk to their staff....Yuck! "
"I have been a Sprint customer for over a decade and Wirefly still came in with a better discount than what my own carrier could, that included insurance as well! The phone was a gift for my daughter who is also on my account & was over-nighted to her for free. Now that is just phenomenal service AND savings!"
"phone work great now thank you wirefly "
"Great, fast service. Very helpful customer service reps. "
"We (me & hubby) love to shop this site for wonderful deals and easy shopping. It also has great customer service! Thank you."
"I am highly upset with the current service I have recieved from Wirefly. I placed my order for the HTC Evo Shift yesterday and was told that the phone was free to me and there would be no money taken out of my account without my permission. That was a total lie because the next day my account was in the negatives and I put a minimum of $80.00 into the account before I placed the order. Now I am sitting on the phone trying to talk with customer service but no one wants to answer."
"Worst experience EVER! Will never deal with Wirefly again. First after my order had been placed, they call me and say that T-mobile is saying I have to get the higher priced data plan because the phone I was getting was a 4G. A blatant lie to get me to agree to the higher data plan as the phone I got was a 3 G. Then, since they had already suckered me into the higher priced plan, I decide I'm going to upgrade to the offer I thought I saw on their website at the time I ordered from them - which would give me more minutes at basically the same price. Instead of signing me up what I asked for - which was an all-inclusive talk, text, and data plan - they signed me up for an unlimited talk and text with a $30 add-on data plan. Now after trying 4 times to talk to them / work with them to get them to correct their error, I am still where I was at before the 1st phone call - no correction at all with minutes that I'll never use and a data plan that I'll never use. Every time they say they are going to "expedite it, and have a supervisor look into it", and when they call me back they come back with the same thing they started with...NOTHING. Watch, I will get a response appologizing for the frustration and that they are going to look into it....same b.s. they've been telling me on the phone and telling these poor souls here on this web-site. STAY AWAY FROM WIREFLY. A BUNCH OF SCAM-ARTISTS THAT HAVE NO INTENTION OF RIGHTING THEIR WRONGS!!!!"
"I placed my order for a Verizon wireless phone on Sunday night. The process took about 40 minutes however the customer service representative assured me I would receive an email confirmation by the morning. I never received an email and as of today, still have not. Tuesday, I received an email back from my customer care inquiry (which i placed Monday) stating that I would need to call to confirm my Verizon account. Thinking this was standard procedure, I called and spoke with yet another representative. After about 20 minutes on the phone, she stated I would get a confirmation email and that I could track my order online. She also guaranteed that my phone would be here by Thursday. Not only can I not track my order, I have not received any email, and I now have a $250 hold on my credit card.
I needed my phone by Friday and I was told by wirefly that this would not be a problem. However, since I am so close to the deadline, I don't see any other choice but to proceed to cancel. This has been an unfortunate experience and I will not be recommending wirefly. "
"My son introduced me to this website, I was a little hesitate to order only because it sounds too good to be true, but I did since it was a free device and all I had to pay was the activation fee, I even gave them a debit car from a bank that I have a minimum amount of money that way if anything happened it wouldn’t go through… well to my surprise the transaction was legit and I received the phone sooner than what I thought, so now I have order the HTC Sensation and I can wait to get it has been processed and my device is already with FedEx I should be getting it tomorrow … so happy with this company I know that I would never order with anyone else other than WIREFLY:)"
"I purchased the phone from Wirefly which arrived on time. Due to no fault of Wirefly my new HTC EVO 3D died on day 30. Wirefly would not provide ANY help in getting the phone warranty service from HTC. Wirefly customer service is worse than AT&T, which I believe is the most insulting comparison I can come up with. At no time during my many phone calls was Wirefly helpful, and on at least two occasions my call "dropped" while on hold or transferred. They are NEVER getting my business again.
Updated for Stefan’s response:
While I had a horrible experience with Wirefly’s customer service, Stefan is really trying to correct their customer service so issues/problems like mine never happen. Since HTC has repaired my phone, which is now being shipped to me, it is too late for Wirefly to help me with my warranty issue. However if I had been contacted by someone like Stefan in the beginning my opinion of Wirefly’s customer service would have been a lot better. For that my rating is now two stars, and maybe someday in the very distant future I’ll consider using/recommending Wirefly again."
"Don't believe the Reps when they tell you" Congratulations you are approved for an upgrade" - they have no clue if you're eligible or not. Check first with your carrier if you are eligible for FULL upgrade of your hand set and then place an order with wirefly. The Reps are trained to LIE that you're approved - so they can charge your card first. Later if you are not- they tell you that they will credit back your money. They charged my credit card first for $159.96 - then I received an e-mail that my order is CANCELLED because my number doesn't qualify for an upgrade ( which i was told by 5 different Reps that I qualify and what they see on their screen is what T-mobile has - TOTAL LIE - don't waste your time if you have not checked with your provider if you are eligible for FULL not EARLY upgrade - there's difference)."
"This was my first purchase from Wirefly and it will definately not be my last. I preordered my HTC EVO 3D from them. They had the lowest price of any reseller! I was suprised at how easy the transaction was and how easy activating the new phone was. I would recommend Wirefly to anyone shopping for a new or replacement phone."
"The only 2 phones I have bought I got through Wirefly. Both were free with a new contract. They included instructions for setting up the phone yourself. While it takes a bit more effort than walking into a store and having them set it up for you, it is doable if you are tech savvy and in my opinion worth the savings. I have also bought accessories through them in the past and with free shipping gives you more options than a lot of stores.
My only disappointment so far has been that they sent a birthday email 2 weeks after I ordered my new phone that just said:
"Thank you for shopping with Wirefly - America's Trusted Source for Cell Phones. In celebration of your birthday, here's our free gift to you:
FREE Bluetooth™ Headset"
But when I put the code in while ordering an extra power cord, the website said the code was invalid. I called in the order, and they said that you only get it free with a new phone. But I had just gotten a phone through Wirefly 14 days earlier. On top of that, the birthday email didn't say anything about it only being a gift with a new phone. It sounded like you just flat out get a free bluetooth headset. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused. She insisted I had to talk with customer service, and tried to transfer the call. It failed. So she gave me the number and told me to call them. I repeatedly asked to talk to her supervisor and she refused. So I tried calling customer service and was on hold for over 20 min at which point I gave up and canceled my online order. It just unfortunate that my thoughts went from "Yea, a birthday gift!" to "This bites.". On my birthday. Way to go. I think their products are fine, but clearly their emails need to honor what they say and their phone staff need training. False advertising is no way to treat customers, plus this is going to make me wonder if anything else is untrue on their site/emails.
***Update: They did follow through and send the bluetooth headset, which works great! Thanks Wirefly! I've updated my satisfaction survey."
"I was a bit hesitant in ordering from Wirefly, as I did not know much about them. But this experience has proven them a trustworthy company in my eyes.
I pre-ordered the HTC Evo 3D from them. The price was lower than other competitors, and shipping was rather quick. Once I placed the order, they pretty much took care of the order. It would have arrived on the 24th (release date), but I wasn't home to receive it. Very satisfied with this. I will probably get all my future phones from wirefly!"
"Best deals, Fast shipping, Easy activation."
