I ordered three Verizon phones (two smartphones and one "regular" phone) on 2/28/11. When I entered the service numbers I mistyped the area code for one of the smartphones. This kicked the order back into a "Please contact us" state.
I entered a chat with a Wirefly representative, gave him the order information, answered the security questions and he quickly figured out what the problem was, got the correct area code number from me and expedited the order. The CSR was professional, polite and efficient. He even managed to accept responsibility for my typo - which, clearly, wasn't his fault.
Our phones arrived a few days later, new in box, definitely not refurbished or unpackaged - looked exactly like the same phones/packaging I would have received had I ordered the phones from VZW and paid $350 instead of $58.
I had no trouble activating them once I read the instructions - it does help to RTFM. *wink*
Two months later, I'm thrilled with our phones. My Fascinate is a huge improvement over my old Blackberry, my husband may love his Droid X more than me and my mother is thrilled to now have a phone that she can take pictures of her grandsons. (She used to have the Samsung Knack - which is specifically for the elderly - simple, but it didn't have a camera.)

The only problem I had was the original product was defective and I had to return it, and have a new product shipped. They did, as another customer stated, charge a $250 deposit fee; which was not waived for me. They also tried to keep my deposit stating that the phonbe wasn't returned within a specified timeframe.
Waiting to see if the deposit was refunded for that error. The tech also don't know anything about the phones, so don't call for any troubleshooting. In fact, reaching customer service was difficult & my complaint had to be escalated."
"We chose Wirefly for our recent wireless upgrade on Verizon based solely on price. I had not read any truly negative reviews, so no issue there, plus Wirefly (simplexity) provides the online wireless options for Dell, so I figured it was a safe place to get our new phones.
They shipped quickly, but they "activated" our new phones at shipping, so our old phones were deactivated. We had to call Verizon to resolve.
One of the phones we got stopped working after a week and Wirefly quickly resolved the issue. Unfortunately, they sent a phone with a temp number and this took hours on the phone between them and Verizon to resolve.
Quick answer: the hassles we dealt with were okay for us to deal with in order to get the phones for the price (free)."
