"OK, I'll admit I was a little hesitant to order from Wirefly after reading some of the reviews, on this site and some others, even though Wirefly's price blew all the competition out of the field. However, the deciding factor was that - on this web site - a Wirefly representative answered EVERY complaint, apologized where necessary, and promised to find a solution to the problem and improve in the future. I TRUST that kind of company! Mistakes are made, but not admitting them or committing to do improve is a deal-breaker to me.
So - having to phone in rather than order online, because I have a family plan - I ordered my upgrade phone, sometime after 11PM CDT LAST NIGHT, and it was shipped TODAY. I will receive it on Friday, according to FedEx. Because I saved $150 off what I ALMOST paid, elsewhere (got my upgrade for free), I could afford to purchase the loss protection (which I wouldn't have done, otherwise) and 2-day shipping, which I probably would have done.
I also noticed that the representative (Brian - although probably not his real name) was very careful to make sure I understood each point - many of them being items that are complaints in this review site (which tells me attention is being paid to addressing the complaints and misunderstanding previous customers have had). He also paid careful attention to my questions or clarifications, and addressed them all. Great job, Brian and Wirefly!
Now, the one complaint I have - communications. I'm sure Brian had as much trouble understanding my Texas accent as I had understanding his (apparently) Indian accent. Although he was very patient and polite, and DID carefully explain all points of the sale and contract, I was continually having to have him repeat those points. Our conversation leading up to the final acceptance of the order lasted somewhere over 45 minutes .... could have been done in less than 30. Honestly, I was actually exhausted after I hung up the phone. Slept REALLY well. I can imagine that MANY people would not have made as active an effort to understand what the Wirefly representative was trying to explain, I truly think many of the problems leading to complaints can be avoided if Wirefly can find a way to improve this communications.
Overall, though, I give Wirefly an "A" for effort, and for courteous service and fast shipping. I hope that I will continue to feel this way after I have received the phone, but don't expect to be disappointed. Thank you, Wirefly! "

"Purchased a HTC Incredible from Wirefly on June 22. The phone was sold out everywhere, even Verizon, so I knew we'd be waiting a little while for the phone. I called on the 24th asking the status and they stated they should be getting them in "tomorrow", which was correct. On the 25th, I received an email that stated my order should be shipping soon. On Monday, I reachieved an email stating my phone was shipped and I received it on the 30th.
So, on a phone that was back ordered, I received in 8 days after ordering. I was pleased with that. My only gripe for the entire process was that I asked to have my phone ported, but I still had to call Verizon to have this done. Didn't take but 5 minutes to do, though.
For those who want to save a few bucks, in my case $50, and don't mind keeping your contract for the 2 years, go with Wirefly.com

"I tried Wirefly because a lot of people on the Android discussion forums had good experience with them, and they had a great deal on the new EVO the first week that it launched.
I was eligible for a Sprint upgrade on just one line of my family plan, and Wirefly made that pretty easy, plus saved me a bunch vs. the Sprint store, plus there were no rebates required and no sales tax.

"Wirefly may have discounted prices on phones, but it is not worth the headache in trying to get anything done after sales. Customer service(chat service)very unprofessional. When you ask a question the rep would copy and paste a response that may have absolutely nothing to do with the question you asked. So please save yourself the headache and buy directly from carrier. I am still waiting to hear anything specific about my exchange. I bought the Evo 4G and got a bad one. tried to get in touch with customer service by phone, that did not happen. tried chatting and the rep did not answer my questions except to copy and paste asking me if I wanted another model. Even after telling him I paid early termination fee to AT&T to get the Evo and do not want anything beside the evo, his next copy and paste response was not different from the first. I would not recommend wirefly to anyone. This was my first experience and it turned out a very bad one."
"Do Not use this company. I had ordered an upgrade of an existing line of service. I only needed to upgrade one line of service, with no changes to my account as my family plan already had a family text plan. I ordered one Sony phone for the one line to upgrade. My rate plan was changed, an unlimited data plan at the rate of $15.00 per month was placed on the line. This was not required but when I asked why that had been added over my express statement not to make changes to my plan I was told it was required. When I again pointed out it was not required they would not remove the data plan. At first I was told it would take 72 hours to be removed, then after getting a manager the time to remove the data plan down to 24 hours. I then found out they had ordered phones for a second line and that was canceled only found out about the second line when notified that he had been canceled. I have never been told why it was ordered to begin with. I would have canceled the order and had told them to cancel but was promised a blue tooth head set, in truth I felt if they mess up a simple upgrade they would really mess up a cancellation. I did get the phone and am happy with phone, but did not get the head set. My ATT account has had several changes I got notification for like 4 days. None of those changes were needed nor requested. I will NOT recommend this company for any person to use as to be nice they provide incorrect information, wrong features as being need, do not follow customer requests, nor there promises.
AS a follow up, after I posted this review, I was again contacted by Wirefly, they said they had to order for the second line to keep sequince, that is not true, They said there was not a data plan, only because I caught their attempt to rack up my plan, They once again promised the Bluetooth head set, a week later still no head set, so more of the not telling the truth, or keeping promises. If really wanted good customer relations tell the truth, do not try to add unneeded or wanted features. If really want to offer something ask the customer I would much rather had a 16GB Sony M2 memory stick instead of a cheap head set.
The story continues, I was contacted by Customer service and they offered to not only send a blue tooth and a 16Gb memory stick for the Sony phone. I got the blue tooth headset a cheap one but they keep their word, and I got a 16Gm memory card. Just one little thing that is does not work with the Sony w518. It is a micro SD which does not work. I did not notice this until I tried to use the memory card today. So now the story continues.
