"I love wirefly, they're great, they're cheap, and they were fast! :-)"
"I will NEVER order from Wirefly.com ever again! I made an accessory purchase for my HTC Incredible. I placed the order on May 16. It is now May 19th and still no cover for my phone. On the website they had said my order qualifies for free Fed-Ex shipping and to click on standard shipping- for the fed-ex shipping at no additional charge. On May 18 the fed tracking number that I had recived had still not been picked up.... Had I know it was going to take more than 4 days to get this Item I would have shopped else where! I had recommended this website to a family member- and they even had a worse experience, just porting a landline from ATT to Verizon! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ON THE PHONE WITH SOMEONE FROM INDIA FOR HOURS!!!!! "
"I placed an order to port two lines on Wednesday, March 5, 2010 and on Friday March 7, 2010 I received an email notice that my order had shipped.
My order required a port of phone number and unfortunately the request was processed immediately upon shipment causing my old phone not to function contrary to what Wirefly states in their FAQs. I immediately contacted Wirefly customer service and was told that there was nothing that they could do and I would be without service until my new phones arrived.
I received the new phones on May 11th and attempted to activate only to have the activation fail. I called Wirefly customer service and was told to wait until May 12th and that it would work. Today, May 12th,I tried to activate only to have the activation fail again. Apparently the phone is not registered in Verizon’s system. I called Wirefly customer service again only to be rudely told that the incident would have to be escalated and to wait an additional 48 hours. This is totally unacceptable! I have been without service for six days with no resolution in sight. Wirefly routes all customer service ofshore and the representatives offer little assurance and continuously fail to take ownership of the issue. This is not what I expected when I made this purchase. I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for more than 15 years and after talking directly with Verizon customer service, I was instructed to return my order to Wirefly and to go to a Verizon Wireless store where they can activate me immediately. Based on Wirefly's performance I will never do business with them again and I recommend that others avoid them.

"LISTEN TO ME NOW, AND HEAR ME LATER.... ***DO NOT PURCHASE FROM WIREFLY!*** I have been purchasing things online for years now and it's basically second nature. I've purchased things domestic and abroad, all types of different products and services, and have never had the problems that I have had with Wirefly. I bought 2 Motorola Android phones, one being a brand new number and the other being switch from T-Mobile to Verizon. Guess what, they never activated my phones! They tell me to call Verizon, I call about 4 times, and after speaking with basically the top Customer Service Manager, they completely assured me that activation falls under Wirefly. I call back (now this is my 3rd time speaking with Wirefly) and they tell me that they forwarded the matter to their escalation department and there is nothing else they can do for 48 hours, and by the way, you can't even speak with the escalations department to find out what the hell is going on.... so, to sum it up, they charged me for activation on May 7th, and I get the phones on May 11th, and the account is basically a dead shell and has nothing going on. They made me feel like this was my fault.... if I could activate my own phone through some sort of computer system, I obviously would have done it to avoid A. Calling Verizon 4 times B. Calling Wirefly 3 times C. To avoid actually going to the Verizon store and D. Having to come on here and let people know what is really going on with these crooks!
Basically, to sum it up... this is by far the worst online purchase, worst cellphone experience, and overall stupidity, I guess, on my part because I READ SO MANY TERRIBLE REVIEWS ABOUT WIREFLY!
Oh, and I forgot to mention, that great "Free Shipping" they offer... screw it. They sent my phones from Maryland, to Virginia, to Western Pennsylvania, just to come to me in New Jersey! Go Green!
So, I plead with you, if you have read this far, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING, I MEAN ANYTHING FROM WIREFLY!!!!! I read all the reviews, just as you are doing right now, and thought "Oh, it can't be that bad." No, it's worse than that.
Bar-none the worst customer service I have ever seen.

"I finally ordered my Droid Incredible from wirefly.com, although I have hesitated about that for a while before I triggered that in view of the infamous rebate issues back in 2007. However it was bought by Simplexity after that. I think they will be trying to be more reliable since I only find 6 claims in this website during the last one year. In addition, I see that both bestbuy and tigerdirect is powered by Simplexity with the same interface, which gives more credibility to Simplexity. Thus, I finally decided to order from wirefly. I am still worried about whether the bing cashback can shown up (50$ per phone) when I ordered and as such I printed screenshots for every steps I went through. My worry turned out to be worthless. The bing cashback shows up pending for the second day the Incredible got shipped. I am also glad that I order the phone when they are in stock at wirefly but out of stock both at Amazon and also Verizon.
I am really glad I have ordered from wirefly and have much better experience than Amazon (the wirefly give a simple option to port my old number from at&t). They also process my order really quick (shipped the order the second day I ordered). I like they whereismyorder website, which tells you the specific progress of your order promptly. The online live agent is also very helpful. I got my family plan with Incredible and Samsung Intensity for 49$ (bing cashback included) with no activation fee, which can payoff my early termination fee (150$ for family plan). Awesome deal.
One thing that wirefly can improve is that there is no information about whether the phone is in stock or not. I contact the agent to confirm that before I buy.
I have gone through all kinds of Forums to make my decision and here I would like to share with others my experiences.
By the way, Terry from Wirefly seems is active in different online forums (Slickdeals.net and fatwallet.com and others). He is really helpful in response to the question in those forums, which finally help to make my decision. I think a company cares what people says should not be a scam company."
"DO NOT COUNT ON BING CASHBACK FROM THIS STORE! After more than a month of working with their customer service, I have to believe they have absolutely no intention of following through on the cash back.
Needed a new phone for my son. While the phone was free everywhere, wirefly offered $50 Bing Cash back. The phone was received within a week and everything was fine...until a few days before the Bing cash back was due. They cancelled the cashback. Upon inquiry, they promised that they are elevating this to "high management" and that the matter will be resolved in 48-72 hours...it has been more than a month now and after more than half a dozen emails, each time promising results after 48hours, nothing! "
"Absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered my phone on sunday with overnight shipping. On Monday I verified my address with a representative and they told me that without a doubt the phone would be shipped that day, Monday. My phone was not received by fedex until late Wednesday, and by that time Wirefly had shipped it to the wrong address with the wrong shipping (Ground). I've placed about 20 calls to wirefly trying to get them to fix this situation. I've been hung up and lied to throughout the process. Worst experience I've ever had with a business."
"Ordered a Verizon family plan from them with a Droid and another phone. Bing cashback for the order was supposed to be $100. I haven't received the cash back and it's been four months. I've opened two customer service requests with Wirefly that have not been responded to at all besides the auto-response. The last such request was over a month ago. I filed a complaint with the BBB and am contacting Verizon to cancel my account due to fraud that was committed at the time I agreed to the service contract. Wirefly = FAIL."
"Got my Droid for $80 Cheaper than Verizon with $100 bing cash back to boot! That's almost a $200 savings over Verizon. Phone arrived 2 days after I ordered it, no complaints from me. A+"
"Bought a phone and a car charger from WireFly. The items shipped quick enough. I am very happy with the phone. The car charger on the other hand is junk. I would not buy any accessories from them. They were willing to exchange it but for the 14.95 it really was not worth my time. Phones are good and the do have a great price accessories stay away from. "
"Horrible and terrible. They cancelled my order , I called and they referred me to the web site. Then waited about 20 minuts to chat with some indian in bangalore,. who said sorry sorry but I dont know why your order was cancelled. Then they put a specialist on after another 15 min wait, who was also totally useless and said, the risk evaluation software spit out my order, with no reason or explanation. Then asked how to get a better answer and he gave me a phone number which I called, and it referred me back to the website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I give the a -5 out of 10. Wirefly sucks."
"I have ordered a Blackberry and Nokia surge from Wirefly.com. At the time of purchased Wirefly said there is No Data plan required with Blackberry. Even that was pramotional offers on Deals2Buy.com as well. But when I received my order and activated my phone I came to know that data plan is required for smart phones. I fight a lot but they were not listen at all. Even I had receved damaged Blackberry pearl. Finally I had cancelled my order and contracts but they were not support at all. Beware confirm the offers with Carrier before placing the order from wirefly. I recomend that don't order from wirefly.com. They are selling the thing which may not exist. After that they just give escuse that it is our pramotional offer but comany doesn't support it so we can not do anything. They are lier."
"What ever you do, do not order anything from Wirefly.com. I went online to order a Samsung Highlight phone and an India Rep named Igbal took my account number then asked for my social security and driver's license number, which I gave against my better judgement. Then he tried to sell other products and services and I declined. He then explained that because I had received a super discount on my phone, T-Mobile required that I purchased a 6 month internet package to complete my deal. I told him that I had spoken with T-Mobile earlier that day and they required no such demand. He held on to his story so I figured I would just clear the matter with T-Mobile once I received my phone. Igbal aslo told me I would receive an email confirmation stating the terms of my up-grade contract and my purchase information. He also said because I had a family plan that he had to set up a dummy phone on my order but assured me that I would not be charged for it. When I received the order confirmation, I had the phone I ordered, the dummy phone and 2 activation charges for 36.00. I called wirefly the next day and they assured me that they would take it off my bill but in order to complete my order they would need a copy of my social security card, driver license number and a utility bill which had my physicial address on it. That was it, I cancelled my order. Buyer beware!!!!!!! Do not give this company your personal information!!!!!!1"
"I originally ordered two phones from another discount cell phone company but when I decided to add a 3rd line to my ATT plan Wirefly had the best prices. While the competitor wanted $50 and ATT wanted $150-minus mail in rebate, Wirefly only charged $20 for a new LG Vu CU920. They also offered free shipping and a free bluetooth headset so I was good to go.
I placed the order and received an email the next day saying ATT needed additional information about my account before they could ship my phone. I called Wirefly and had to give some basic info. Later that day my phone was shipped. It arrived the very next day with the SIM card in place and the phone was already activated so I was good to go. I just had to call ATT as the voice mail wasn't setup and there was nothing in the manual about what number to input to dial voice mail. 5 minutes with ATT and I was all set.
I definitely plan on going through them again in two months when I'm eligible to upgrade my original two phones. The prices are just so much better than going directly through ATT.

"i had purchased a 3 cell phones and a new contract from this company on this order and everything was great and was delivered to me TWO DAYS after I ordered it! All of the phones were free and shipping was free as well! Customer service was great and its unfortunate that only the bad reviews get posted on here about this company. I am a proven buyer and would recommend them highly! Everything came as promised and the phones were ready to use instantly. THEY EVEN PUT THE SIM CARD IN THE PHONE FOR ME! "
