"Ordered phone on the 8th of may, they dropped price by 30 dollars during the 9 days it took to ship it to me. Called customer service, who I could hardly under stand, Twice. Asked to speak to superviser. (Never got to talk to one).Was told they don't have a 30 day best price match like Amazon Wireless does even though it would be their own price they matched. Would not deal with them again if they were only online option out there. Would give them about a 2 on a scale up to 10!!!!

"I pre-ordered the HTC EVO 4G LTE on the first day sales were being taken, May 7th. After reading of rumors of Wirefly not having inventory for 2-3 weeks after release date, May 18th, I decided to ask them myself. It turns out the rumors are true. The agent verified the rumors in a live chat session. I understand things happen in business, and I am not mad about something out of Wirefly's control. However, I am disappointed that I found out through internet rumor sites, and not Wirefly themselves. I check my order status everyday, and it still says the same thing, that I am approved and awaiting inventory, which I assumed would be on or around May 18th. That is the official date of the launch of the phone. On May 18th, I can walk into a store and purchase it on my own. Now, after I do my own research, I find out that Wirefly will not ship nor deliver on May 18th, but potentially for 2-3 weeks afterwards. The agent was courteous, but there was no sympathy for my predicament. Wirefly took no initiative in keeping me in the loop. Now, I have to decide if I want to cancel my order, or gamble that Wirefly will eventually pull through in a timely manner. While their price was a lot cheaper than the competitors, the peace of mind may be worth the difference in price.
Edit: Wirefly contacted me very promptly after reading my review. They were very courteous and helpful. They explained to me what some potential issues were, and offered me a free upgrade on shipping. I am impressed that they care so much about social media reviews and work to correct issues when and where they can. Their customer service is excellent. I am going to keep my order, and revise my ratings of the company."

"I have 2 messages for anyone considering ordering from Wirefly:
1. Unethical sales practices
2. Incompetent customer service reps
I called Wirefly to place a preorder for the new Evo on Sprint. I have a family plan and was planning on using my wife's upgrade to purchase the phone but activate the phone on my line (which Sprint allows and other retailers such as Best Buy have no problem supporting). While speaking with a Wirefly sales rep, I explained what I was planning to do, and he said that it would be no problem. After being on the phone with Wirefly for OVER 35 MINUTES, we still had not completed the transaction and I was rushing to get to an appointment. The rep told me he would call me back and send me a confirmation email (neither of which he did). I had to call back to confirm that the order had been placed.
Later, when I read the terms of the Wirefly contract more carefully, I discovered that their terms and conditions do not allow for what I was planning on doing (using the upgrade on a different line). As a result, I had to go through the excruciating process of canceling the order over live chat (which took another 30 minutes of my time).
It seems as though the sales reps will say anything to get the sale--including lying to you about Wirefly's terms and conditions
UPDATE: I was contacted by Wirefly's corporate office today, and they apologized for my bad experience. I appreciate their effort to reach out to me, though it doesn't change the inconvenience I experienced"
