"Finally I was called two days later after my order to be asked some questions. By the way this company has a five star rating on two other websites. They kept asking me if, I wanted to add a battery,(I was told the battery with the camera is only good for 10 minutes!). I said no that I already have extra batteries from other canon products that fit this model. Then I was told I do not have the right batteries. Next they tried to sell me filters that I already own. Then more memory, which I own. The salesman then tried to sell me a $199 warranty that went to $99 when I refused. After all of this I was told that the camera was not in stock and I would not recieve the camera for a few weeks. Amazingly the website shows available and ships in 1 to 2 business days. These people are liars and have do not posess in sense of integrety."

"Very unhappy. Keep telling me my package is on back order. Whenever I call them by phone they say they have them in stock & after 45 day there website still does not say out of stock.
(everyone report them to the "Better Business Bureau").

" I placed order online, for a camera, the morning of the Dec 14th get email late on the 15th (2 business days later) indicating that I needed to call for "verification". After a phone recording that gave hours starting at 9:00am and hanging up until approximately 9:45, I was then put on hold for 25mins!
The customer service verified my name, address; etc then told me that the delay of 2 days was no it a problem and I would still get before Christmas “they would not do that”. Then she began to pressure me to buy memory cards, batteries, camera case etc (all way OVER priced). After all that she tells me they did not have the camera in stock but may get some next week but I would need to do over night shipping! Yes more money! And they could not guarantee before Xmas. I think this company should be investigated for fraudulent and deceptive activities … I am now concerned that a company with this lack of morals has my CC information! Just very bad all around!

"They said the item was in stock and had me call to sell me other items. Kept me hanging on 20 minutes and seemed annoyed when I didn't buy their overpriced upgrades. Then they said they were out of stock a week later. DON'T DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS!"

"Don't waste your time. This "store" has no intention of selling you anything at the online price. You will need to call and "verify" your purchase and be subjected to a hard sell on accessories you do not need and lies about what you are ordering. Don't waste your time! "

"If you want to get cheated and abused this is the store for you. I ordered a Nikon D80 and lens. I was bombarded with the hard sell overpriced options. Unfortunately they sent me the lens but not the camera. When I checked on the status of the camera (well after it should have arrived based on the verbal and written correspondence I had with them) I was told it was not in stock and would not be for several weeks. When I explained that this posed a big problem for me since I had ordered the camera for my vacation abroad they said they were sorry but nothing could be done about it. When I asked to speak to a manager "Michael" told me he was a manger. He then became very rude, telling me to shut up and ultimately hanging up on me. That same day someone from my office called and was told that they did, in fact, hav the camera in stock. I have never had such an overall awful experience."

"FRAUDULENT OPERATION !! AVOID AT ALL COST !!

I bought the Canon S3 IS camera on-line. Also got the e-mail requiring a phone call to "confirm" the order. Called in and was inundated with the hard sell of overpriced accessories. Declined all additonal products. Of course, the camera was not shipped when they promised. So, I called in and the camera was, of course, now out of stock. I was strung along for the next 2 months. I then get an e-mail that my camera was in but was only available as part of a "USA package" that was $135 more than the cost of the camera that I had purchased. I declined the up-sell again. Another month passes, no camera. I then called anonymously and asked if the Canon S3 IS was in stock as I was "contemplating purchasing it on-line." I was told that the camera was in fact in stock. I went absolutely balistic. The main manager (please read the word "crook" here) is named Mike. I asked him point blank would I ever receive a camera at the advertised price without buying additonal accessories. I was asked to please cancel my order. I did, only for the fact that I hoped this would make charging my credit card illegal after that moment. Mike then hung up on me. I called Mike back, told him that I was a licensed attorney and would be reporting them to the NY Better Business Bureau and to the NY Attorney General's Office. I have only begun my crusade of trying to put this fraudulent company out of business.

I put an order via internet from Wisetronics for a Panasonic camera FZ50 and an extended battery. Just like all of other reviewers, I got an email asking me to call them back to verify the order. When I called, I was asked to buy many other accessories but I declined. All I need was a camera and an extended battery.
Few days later, I received an extended battery without the camera that cost $80. I called and emailed them many times regarding the camera, and each time the answer was it was back order and I would receive in 3 to 4 weeks. Of course, 2 weeks ago, it was 3 to 4 weeks, now the answer is also 3 to 4 weeks.
I asked them I wanted to return the battery because it is no use for the battery without the camera, their reply was that if I want to cancel the order of camera then they will do so without mention of anything about the return of the battery.
PLEASE DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM WISETRONICS.

"I ordered, online an 18-200 Nikon camera lens from Wisetronics. Next day, I received email asking me to call to verify purchase. When I called, I was hounded by salesman to buy a lens filter kit. I did not buy it. I called today to verify when lens would be delivered. I was told order canceled and product not in stock. VERY rude and I mean VERY rude. Quite unbelieveable actually. I would NEVER, EVER buy from this company."

"I'm really very annoyed the way you treated my order. I placed my order (order number 116919) 10 days back and I was assured that I'll be getting my camcorder within 3 days. Firstly I tried to call customer service several times but found it engaged and finally when customer care picks up the phone then the person on the other side talked very rudely and cancelled the order saying that they don't have my brand anymore. I had waited for thanksgiving week from past 6 months for a deal on camcorder and its gone wasted, and since I was engaged I didn't placed the order anywhere else, and its now so embarrassing!!

"Buyer beware! Wisetronics is the absolute worst shopping experience I have had online. They sent us an overpriced "High Speed" SD card that wasn't high speed, a camera case that the camera wouldn't fit in and they called to try and sell us everything in the store with mis-leading information and would not take no for an answer. They lure you with cheap prices on some items but soak you with misleading information and hidden costs. Additional, they're customer service is rude and not a bit helpful. They hung up on us and then let the phone ring when we tried to call back. They are not a legtimate business but an internet scam! Pay the extra $10 and buy eslewhere."
