"AVOID THIS STORE!!!!
NEVER DEAL WITH THIS RUDE IDIOTS!!!!!
Called them up just 5 min ago to get some additional info about a camera. After 2 min of _RUUUUDE_ talk and said I will not buy now. The answer was "they you are not buying anything from us anymore!" and they guy just hanged up, obviously very frustrated...
SOOOOOoooo glad I didn't get to order anything from them, especially after reading all the negative feedback.
Again, avoid the store if you want to keep you money safe and you mind at piece.

"I ordere the sony SR100 HDD camera. This was to be a gift and the person I purchased it for had already bought one. So I called the next day when I recieved my order verification email and asked to cancel. They were very helpful with this process and even wavied the restock fee. I was a bit worried considering all the bad reviews I had read. "
"Even though I read all the terrible reviews on this site, I still thought I would give Wisetronics a try, since their price on the Panasonic DMC-FZ50 digital camera I wanted was so much less. Well, I wasn't too surprised by the fact that they asked me to call and confirm my order after placing it on the internet. What did surprise me was the way I was treated. I was told first of all that it would be a half hour before their computers were up and that they would call me back then, which wasn't a bid deal to me. After waiting an hour, I called back and was transfered to someone who was supposed to help me confirm my order. I was congratulated on my wise choice on this didital camera. I was then told that the camera battery that was supplied with the camera would only last about 20 minutes, a lie that I didn't argue about with him even though I had read reviews on the internet about the battery life being much longer than this. I merely told him that I wouldn't need an extra battery because I found one on the internet for $10.00 at another site. He got very angry with me and cussed me out and told me that my order was cancelled. This really shook me up, but I responded quietly asking him why he was so upset. He merely told me that I couldn't possibly get a battery for this camera for this price and when I offered to give him the web address, he merely hung up on me. I really don't understand why he was so upset about me only wanting to purchase the camera as offered on their website. I feel really bad for him and for his company because, as a Christian, I know that we reap what we sow and this company is in for a really bad time ahead!"
"I placed an order with this company for a Panasonic DMC-FZ50S digital camera. The price was $50.00 cheaper than other resellers. I monitored the price on their Web site and after 3 days, it was reduced another $40.00. A week later the item was still not shipped. When I inquired, they said the item was on backorder. After some discussion, it became apparent that it would not become available unless I ordered additional merchandise at grossly inflated prices. I cancelled the order."

"Ordered a digital Canon SLR camera from these people, thinking I was getting a great deal. Unfortunately, I didn't find this posting site until after I had placed the order. Even though I placed the order online I had to call them to confirm the order. At that point the sales guy, Jeffrey, informed me that they were having a special offer with a 5 hour extended battery and a quick charge battery charger. He said that the battery that comes with the camera only lasts about 30-45 min. and that you have to charge it overnight before it can be used again. However, his quick charge battery would recharge in 90 min. to 2 hrs. The cost of that "special" was $179. For some strange reason, I fell for it. He kept on with other offers, extended warranties, etc. Pushy, pushy. He said mfgr. warranty was only for 6 months. He even offered, if I agreed to an extended warranty, to ship the camera out so that I would have it in two days at no extra charge. I declined. After placing order, I called Canon the next day to ask about the battery life. They told me one charge lasts for about 300-500 shots, depending on variables. Also, told me that the charger charges in 90 min., not the overnite BS I was fed. Oh, and they also told me that their warranty is good for one year. Went back to website of Wisetronics to change my order and cancel the battery only to read on my invoice that the order had already shipped or was in final stages of processing. Today, 11/1, I called to find out the status since I hadn't heard anything, and that was a chore in itself. Finally learned that the camera is on backorder for 2 to 3 weeks. I don't know how Jeffrey intended to get it to me in 2 days. Amazing!! Also don't understand how they can say it's already shipped when they don't even have it in their store yet. So I ended up doing the only smart thing, which was to cancel everything. I can see nothing but trouble with these people. How they make any money at all is truly a mystery. And like so many previous posts, yes, they were rude, kept me on hold, asked for my order number several times. It took me forever and speaking with two different people before I even learned that it was backordered. That old adage, "you get what you pay for," truly applies to this company. I'd rather have no camera at all than deal with them."
"I bought the Canon Powershot SD700 digital from this online store. Price was great. Unfortunately, the company (Wisetronics) failed to disclose that the package only included the camera, and nothing else. As I find it absurd for somebody to buy a digital camera without a battery, charger, memory, cables, software, etc., I consider this to be a deceiving practice. The items should clearly list what is included and what is not. This way potential buyers can easily see what they are about to get for their money. When I called their customer service number the rep attempted to sell me the critical items for a hefty price. He also tried to sell me an expensive warranty. On the other hand, when I said that I did not want the item after all, he was quick in accepting my request."
"This is the worst company I have came across. I order a Sony Handycam® Camcorder (DCR-SR80) because the price looks good, next day I receive an email -
"Subject:Wisetronics.com - Information about your order"
...
"In order to further verify your order number xxxx, we will need to speak with you on the phone. Please call our Verification department ... so we may verify and complete processing your order."
So I called: "What battery do you want? 2 hours or 5 hours?"
- Why? -
"The camcorder comes without battery!"
- Really! I never heard of that. -
Anyhow I don’t want to buy the battery so; he told me it will be shipped 7-10 days.
After 10 days when I check my order in their web site, it still says status pending .
Then I call the 1-877 number the guy who pickup the phone put me on hold for few minutes than pick up back and act like he is a Spanish guy and turn music on so I can hardly heir him. And trying to be funny with me, asking me what’s my nationality ect.
I was just asked him what happen with my order.
Then finally he told me the camcorder price went up and he wants to cancel my order. I say “no you can’t do that”, he says “yes he can”. And he hang up on me, I try to call him back first he did not pick up, at last when he pick up he just hang up, next day I call him again he hang up on me several times, when I went back to the web site to check my order status there was “no order found”.
This company is run buy one guy who want to steel credit cards information
when you call the 1-877 number it gives you different option to select, that’s first lie- there is only one person to answer the phone, he only change the his voice or play music in background,
If you search on internet you can see there is a picture of one room company with some other name( not wisetronics).
Please do not order any thing from this company they are trying to get you credit card information. One day they will flee to Cuba and next day you will see you credit card statement has some thing you never order, but it will be too late. Please file an internet fraud with FBI if you experience something like that."
"This is the worst company I have came across. They sold me a camera and I made the mistake of falling for the upgrade and ended up paying $179.00 extra for a so called 5-hour battery and charger. Turns out they shipped me a camera that looks to be used, with no battery at all. I was treated very badly by all customer reps. When they finally shipped me a battery, it was a cheap battery that should have originally came with the camera in the first place. Sony informed me this company is a big rip-off. I unfortunately used a credit card and disputed the charges, but the credit card company says I need to file with the courts in small claims. So I am looking into that. Most of the evidence they used to dispute my claim was made up and they consistently lied. They were the rudest people I have ever done business with. Don't make the same mistake. Avoid them like the plague. "

"Terrible service, tried to upcharge my sale after luring me with low price!!
Then after 14 days I had to call to find out product was on backorder, for another six weeks!!Cancelled order just like they wanted me to do.
I wouldn't buy dogfood from them!"
"Cheating: I ordered a digital camera 'Canon PowerShot SD800 IS' on their website and received a confirmation e-mail. I got another e-mail 2 days later and I was asked to call the store for order verification. The person from the store told me my order does not come with the battery and charger which will cost $39.95 more. This cameras are always boxed with battery and charger that I've confirmed with Canon. The store tried to cheat for adding $40 to my purchase. see link for Canon

"Reads like the rest on these crooks. placed an order and when I called to "confirm" and didn't buy any accessories, it was promptly backordered. I mentioned my attorney in the conversation and did not get the back order email until 8 days later. I called and they cancelled. Am notifying my card to void any charges.. With this track record, how can these people stay in business and out of jail. Am contacting my congressman and senator to see if congress has any clout regarding freaks like this."
"Wow, like everyone else I wish I had come across this site prior to EVER dealing with Wisetronics. Ordered a Sony DSC t10 because they had the best price(surprise), same call to verify bs. Anyway, after that I became suspicious and had a bad feeling about the store and thats when I came across this site.
Called Wisetronics today, cancelled my order with no apparent objections and then called my cc to double check that Wisetronics had not billed me. So far so good. Ordered from Newegg as I know they are legit even though not the cheapest. Good riddance.
BTW, has anyone else noticed how many of these etailers for digital cameras are in Brookyn? Wisetronics, Rainbowtronics, etc. I wonder if they are all the same company?"
"I'm a customer from San Jose, California and made an order from Wisetronics on Sept 8 for a Sony 3.0 LCD touch screen digital camera. The sales rep promised that I would have my camera within 7-14 days. It is Sept 19 and I still haven't received it. So I call to get an inquiry on the status of my order and the customer service guy was rude about it. He had one of those what's your point attitude. He asks for my order number three times, obviously he's not paying any attention. He puts me on hold for 3-4 minutes. He comes on the phone asking me if I need help as if I was a new customer calling in. I tell him it's the same guy wondering where my orders at. He puts me back on hold.....I wait another few minutes. You're not going to believe this, he comes back on the phone asking if I need help, AGAIN! Your phone is ringing because you're putting me on hold for so long. This guy has no customer service skills and doesn't care whether the customer's are satisfied or not. If he was just a bit concerned and would do his best to have the camera delivered ASAP then I wouldn't be here writing. So I ask for his name and he says Michael. I ask for his last name and he says Taylor. He has a strong middle eastern accent by the way. He tells me that my camera is on back order. I asked why didn't you guys let me know through e-mail or calling. I asked him to cancel my order and that I would like a cancellation confirmation number. Michael says there isn't a cancellation confirmation number. I know everyone wants to find the best price and catch a good deal, but trust me after this experience I rather fork over another $10-$20 bucks more to buy it from a dependable reliable source. I'm glad I canceled my order with them.
