A few words of caution:
Compare prices, they can be as much as 25% more on some items, so take advantage of the price match
Their inventory is not live, which is very unprofessional. I have seen small businesses do much better, step it up!
4 of my 4 items have not shipped, all 4 out of stock, only 1 item is at warehouse, 10 days later.
To counter reply; I appreciate you attempting to expedite the order. I will for now stay with the fake invoice number and email support.
I think it would be wise to state the status prior to me paying. eg: in stock, out, on order, etc."

"I ordered a pair of Milwaukee boots as a gift for my father's birthday and I can't say enough good things about this company! I'm not an expert on men's boots, and I wanted to make sure I ordered the correct size. Not only was the customer service representative courteous and professional, her product knowledge helped put my mind at ease so I was confident in my final purchase. The boots were not in stock, which is normal with most places, but she again put my mind at ease by explaining they would be shipped to me direct from the manufacturer within 7-14 business days with the free shipping option. They arrived in plenty of time for my father's birthday and I now know where I'll be buying my brother's birthday gift too! From start to finish, easy, friendly, knowledgeable, and hassle free. "NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN! I will never be shopping with this site again, and you shouldn't either if you value your time or money. I ordered from this company with expedited shipping. When I went to check the tracking number they sent me I found out that my order was actually broken up into 2 shipments. Then they refused to expedite the second shipment and get it here on time. In the working work you know scheduling and deadlines are everything, but this store respects neither of these concepts. Evey one makes mistakes, but most companies do whatever it takes to fix them. "The secret is that you should call them before placing an order. Some stuff is "in stock" while other items ship directly from the manufacturer. Timberland Pro Pitt Boss boots ordered on a holiday, 9/3, and they shipped on 9/5 from the manufacturer. Carhartt j141 jackets ordered on 9/5, in stock, and shipped same day. I chose the UPS ground shipping method. 3 days from Indiana to MA. Free shipping, no sales tax, solid pricing. I'll use them again. Again, this is one store that you need to call before placing an order so that you can determine stocking status and time to ship. If you do this you'll be all set. They could do a better job of letting consumers know what is in stock and what is not in stock, this would alleviate a ton of aggravation. I would have given them 5 stars if they did a better job of letting you know what was and wasn't in stock but as long as you call them you will level set your expectations."
"Update: A few days after posting my review, I was contacted by Working Person's Store. They apologized for my troubles and offered to make the order right by finding a replacement boot. They did just that and sold me a more expensive and better U.S.A.-made boot for the same price as the boot in my original order. The boots were sent direct from the manufacturer via second-day delivery. My total experience tells me that the company does try to do things right but they have some newer employees who have not been given enough training to be able to do their jobs effectively. Bottom line is, if you seem to be getting the run-around, ask to speak with a supervisor.
Original review: I recently blew out my old pair of work boots and, after spending a lot of time to find a replacement pair in my size (12B), I found a good boot at Working Person's Store. I needed the new boots quickly. I called WPS before placing the order to verify shipping and availability and was told that, while WPS didn't have stock on hand, the boots would be drop-shipped from the manufacturer. I was told that I would have the boots by the end of the following week. I ordered them online immediately. Halfway through the wait for the boots to arrive, I received an email telling me that the boots are on back order and will not be available for almost two months. Calling WPS customer service to find out what happened only yielded excuses and not a bit of help. To say the least, I canceled the order and will not do business with this company again."
"This company is terrible..... STAY AWAY and buyer beware.
It seems they are nothing more than a storefront with no inventory and nothing but form letters for replies to inquiries.
They don't advise you items are on backorder and then when you call them to find out where your order is they give you the runaround and a date the items will ship...... lets just say 17 days later still have not heard from them and item still has not shipped."

"I originally started shopping with WP because of their customer service, they made me feel like a valued customer, and I don’t mind spending a little extra money when they have good customer service. However, after this last experience, I am totally dissatisfied and will not shop with them again.
I tried to order a Pair of Boots back in Dec, but every time I tried to place the order it added a Priority charge, which shipping should have been free. I email them twice, but never received a response. I sent another email to customer service regarding the problem, and they finally responded apologizing, stating that they didn’t know anything about it, and never received the previous emails.
In any case they never resolved the issue, so I went in as a guest and placed my order with no problem. With my order I was to receive a free Danner wallet. Well I received my boots, but never received the wallet. Tiried of dealing with them and will shop else where from here on out

"Terrible experience! I ordered a coat for my husband for Christmas on cyber Monday. It said the order should arrive Dec 7 - Dec 14. On December 7, the status of my order had still not changed to shipped, so I called the Working Person's Store. The woman I spoke to informed me that for some reason my order had been kicked back from Dickie's, but that she was re-processing it and it should arrive by December 16th. On Dec 17, it still had not arrived, so I called again. When I called the second time, the woman I spoke to told me that it had been discontinued and that I would not be receiving my order. I do not understand why they couldn't email or call me or why the first woman I spoke to did not know this information. Now I am stuck with finding a new gift for my husband less than a week away from Christmas. Don't buy here!"
"I ordered 2 pairs of jeans on 9/21/11. I called customer service after 2 weeks, was told they would ship the following week. No e-mail saying they had shipped, so i called again a week later, they will ship that week. No e-mail saying they shipped. I called this morning and stil not shipped. The website says will ship 7 to 14 business days, here it is over a month and no shipment. Although the customer service people were nice no attempt to make it right!
I cancelled the order and told them I will NEVER order from them again and given the opportunity I would complain about them.
This is me complaining (in a nice kind of way I think).

"I ordered on June 2nd and yet to hear from them about when it will be shipped everytime i look it's suppose to be shipped out that day. There order system says it will be 3 to 7 days and its been 11 days. i also order shirts they say they have in stock. I needed them in a hurry for a new job asap. And a local store said they wouldn't have them for a week or more. However they are in stock now and i already spent the money on this snail order. Hmmmm it seems someone needs to have some customer service training. Very poor service, not shopping with them again!!!"
