"I was shipped defective merchandise. Now the "easy return" has turned into a very complicated return because of un-communicated return policies, and the failure of their returns staff to read the returns form in its entirety. Moreover, it seems that they expect me to pay for the shipping cost of the replacement item. I am being punished for a mistake on their end. "
"This has been the worst online purchasing experience I have ever had. I first tried to purchase a Bayern Munich jersey as a birthday present only to discover that my order never went through. I decided to try again only to have a much worse time. I ordered the jersey and decided to have it personalized with a name and number. I also paid for overnight shipping because I had missed the birthday and wanted the jersey as quickly as possible.
Nowhere did it mention that personalizing the jersey would take three to five days but that is what I was told when I called to ask why it was not delivered overnight as I paid for. OK, that I could live with, it seemed understandable.
Then, to my surprise, I was told that my order had been cancelled. They said they had an issue with my form of payment and that to accept a payment from me I had to do a Western Union form of payment.
I hung up with them and called my credit card bank to find out why my card had been denied. My bank told me my card was in perfect working order and that no company had tried to levy a charge on it.
I called World Soccer Shop back and told the person who answered what I was going through and that my bank said my card was good. I asked why I could not use my card for payment. I was put on hold while the representative searched for an answer.
The only answer I got was that they could not accept my card and that to ensure my purchase I had to do a Western Union transfer. I asked why that was so when I had used their website and their ordering mechanism to purchase a jersey. I could not get a straight answer as to why I could not use my credit card to purchase an item from their website using their software and process.
I will not try again to purchase the jersey. I will never again use World Soccer Shop for anything. As I mentioned this was the WORST online purchasing experience I have ever had. They are an online business, why can't I buy from them using their processes?

"Took 26 days to arrive...never waiting that long for anything from the US before. Did not receive a confirmation email that it even shipped like I was supposed to. When I did check to see if it shipped, they said it probably went to my junk mail (it didn't). I was not given any sort of tracking number and was not even able to go online and see the status of the order. The socks themselves are great that I bought and the cost was reasonable but the whole experience was not worth it. "
"So far this has been the worst online shopping experience of my life. I placed an order over two weeks ago, the calculated online shipping cost to Canada was $3.53 short. Firstly it took almost a week to contact me to confirm the added charge to my cc, this was no problem but when trying to add another item to my order at the same time I was denied as the order was too far along to change. One week after that my order still had not shipped or even been marked "in process" so I cancelled the order and replaced the order with the additional item and upgraded the shipping so as not to have the same problem. I had emailed the cancellation but figured I should phone too, I was then informed that even though the order had not been marked as "in progress" it had been processed and had been shipped out but there was no record of the payment being taken but I could not cancel at this point. They also could not cancel the new order even though I had placed the order 12 hours before as it had also been shipped already, this payment had been taken (I know because I used different cc's for each order). When checking my order status two days later, to my frustration, it still says that the order is processed but not mailed out. This is the only store that I can find that has the shoes in stock that I can find so I have no other option than to hope that someday my order arrives."
