"I'm buying a new house, and just configured/bought a whole house security system from x10. It couldn't have been easier! After coming up with a couple of questions and chatting online with Tammra Stanley (****@****) through the x10 site, she said I should give her a call, or she could call me!
So after speaking with her on the phone for a few minutes, I had the exact items I wanted, and she even found me some deals on items that weren't shown or available on the website - cool!!

"The product didn't install properly. In process of trying to uninstall, with some tech support, I was instructed to delete Active Home(tm) as well as Active Home Pro. This caused all my old files to be deleted and then a reinstall of Active Home Pro did work properly. After many hours, including 3 telephone calls that caused at least 10 minute waits each, and simply downloading additonal install packages, finally Eric Boyd stayed with via email over a two day period and finally solved the problesm. Thanks to Eric. The earlier tech encounters served only to frustrate me."
"My sales person neglected to include one VERY important part of my new (and first I've ever had) security camera system. I, not knowing it was missing.. worked more than 2 hours trying to get it up and running on my own before finally breaking down and calling technical support. Tammra Stanley was very professional, curtious, and supportive in the diagnosis, and upcoming equipment fulfillment issues I needed so despirately. update:
I would not recommend the wireless system, as the antennas cannot be all adjusted properly without additional receivers. They will not all aim directly at the "forward facing" reciver plate."

Later after conforming order I called and got Tammra, needed to confirm and pay for items, Tammra not only completed my sale, she got the offer for $15 less then the original quote, you go girl! X10 you gave me a good deal, so now I help you, so far, $600 in sales for you so far!"
