"shipping was good but customer service really stinks, i got bad heli and they have done nothing but string me along, 1st email they treated me like i knew nothing about helis, telling me it was my fault when i know it wasn't. then they ignored my next email until i told them i was going to complain everywhere i could, then they asked me my order #, then nothing for weeks, so finally i had to complain to amazon and we will see where that gets me. i'm done with this web site, to bad to, me and my son were just starting the hobby of rc heli's.
NEW UPDATE: after i complained on here plus filed a claim on amazon all of a sudden i got a RMA # (return merchandise authorization i think) in my email from xheli. so it sounds like they don't want to help you, but if you complain suddenly they are all about the customer."

"I have no problems with the heli, it's great but, the ordering didn't please me, when I ordered the 200$ heli ihad it charged for twice on my debit card, they took the money out once then they put the money back, I looked at my bank statement three days ago and saw the had charged me twice again!!! That's almost 400$ taken out of my bank account, I asked them about it andthey said the extrA charge was to see if I had enough money in my account, I still haven't gotten them to put the money back, the heli is awesome but I think that xheli has some incompetent ppl working that make the orders, until the charge falls off my account I won't feel different. The product is excellent it took 6 days for it to be delivered, it flys awessome !"
"Fast shipping. The only thing I find is that the instruction manual is hard to understand. Although it is written in English the words in the sentence's are are not worded properly therefore you have to try and figure out what the sentance means. Another thing I find is that the battery charger does not have a lite on it to let you know when the battery is fully charged."
"I have never had such a terrible experience with an online order and I buy hundreds of items online every year. They said they shipped the order in Jan 2010, but the tracking number does
not correspond to anything shipped around that date. The order never arrived, or maybe was never shipped.
I have contacted them many times by email, with no answer. I have contacted
them many times online, and they kept telling me to wait some more, then they told me that the order was stuck in customs (I live in Germany), and finally now they claim
somebody must have lost/stolen my order. They say they cannot do anything because there is no insurance on usps shipment.
Clearly they cashed my money, no mistakes while doing that.
Bottom line, they have my money, and I have nothing, actually less than nothing since I also paid for their precious nothing.
Strange business model...

"I purchased the helicopter for my grandson in Arizona after
spending considerable time reviewing numerous sites/helis.
Upon arrival in Arizona for his birthday,my son-in-law took it
out of the box and charged the battery in excited anticipation
of its 1st flight.
on its maiden flight it bounced off the side of the house...and
broke all 6 blades. Luckily I had anticipated that this might
happen(although not immediately!) and had purchased 6 re-
placement blades.
Upon installing the 6 new blades they proceeded to fly it again
and this time when it came down it broke the landing gear!
I would NOT recommend this to anyone.
By thr way, my son-in-law is a mechanical engineer!

"We bought two of the Dragon Fly Helicopters as presents for an 8 and 10 year old and within two minutes both helicopters had broken tail rotors. Then I removed the canopy to access the battery area and the canopy broke at the seam. The packaging states suitable for 14 and up but these helicopters are fragile for any operator. I bought 4 spare tail rotors at about $4.97 each plus shipping and handling. I would not recommend buying this helicopter because of it's delicate nature and if you do decide to buy it be sure to buy a couple extra tail rotors at the onset. The plus side is the attractive price point, as usual though you get what you pay for."

Overall, I've always been thrilled with XHeli's selection and service, and "fair" if not incredible prices.
That said, this order's shipping jumped up $15 AFTER confirming the order. Apparently, this was due to a bug in their website, but it got me thinking about how all the other RC Helicopter sites I use offer "points" or "frequent buyer" discounts, often right from the first order, and I was shocked to add up that I've put $1400 into XHeli and their associated parts site in the last 6 months, all without any such offers.
Hmmm... when I can order the same things from where they are made in China for 2/3 the cost, and only pay $10 shipping to import them, paying $25 to ship INSIDE the USA makes me think maybe I should be looking harder at other vendors next order...?
