"I bought a Zager ZAD 80CE/OM a few months ago after the Pandemic started. While stay home most of the time, playing Zager guitar has become my favorite thing to do in my spare time. It is well crafted and sounds really nice. I have small hands and the OM size guitar fits me well. The strings are easy to press down against fretboard compare with other guitar I played before. I expect to play Zager guitar and enjoy it for many years to come.

We drove in from Yosemite today and found my new guitar ZAD50-CE waiting for me.
WOW played a few cords, for an Hour & the wife said I sounded great, lmao cannot believe that!
Hey and its set to the green wood high action still and its easier to play than my DAD’s old Yamaha!
I normally play in new standard tuning and will probably have to buy a few more of Your Dad’s Family creations, Hopefully one for every tuning possibility!
I will more than likely drop the action to close the gap then I bet she is even easier to PLAY!

"ZAD80CE OM - Fantastic guitar sound and quality, this guitar has definitely exceeded my expectations of playability, clarity of sound and soft feel on the fret board. I have been switching between three second hand guitars trying to progress my learning over the past 9 months. Not having the perfect shape hand for guitar playing, I struggled with chord changes on the thicker neck guitars. On the thinner neck guitar, the difficulty was achieving clarity of notes, with the close string spacing. So rather than give up, I read some articles on the net which led me to my decision to buy a Zager Guitar. "Stunning guitar with fantastic attention to detail. Beautiful wood and materials. I decided to buy the OM size because it looked very comfortable to hold and I was right - sits right on my thigh perfectly. The ZAD 80CEOM I purchased has a very rich tone - particularly in the mid-range, but well-balanced - super warm (and I've only played it for about an hour). I have a Seagull Solid Cedar Topped S6 I've owned and played for about 20 years to compare it to at the moment, which admittedly is a lesser-quality guitar, but I've also owned a $2,700 Taylor. This ZAD 80 is prettier than any guitar I've ever owned and great tone right out of the case for 1/2 the price. Equally important to me is that every email is answered within a few hours and they always picked up the telephone when I called. Customer service is second to none in my book - this is a company that bends over backward for you and the customer clearly ends up on top. I had a very minor issue with my order and they made up for it in a BIG way. "I rarely (almost never) post product reviews, but in this case I feel compelled to do so. A little background: I am two years into a battle against cancer, and an unfortunate side effect of my chemo treatments is that I now have a pretty bad case of neuropathy in my hands and feet. I was devastated when I realized that I could not play my instruments (banjo and guitar).

To overcome this, I signed up for online lessons with Jamie Andreas, following her "Principles of Correct Practice for Guitar". This method focuses on very rigorous training of the fingers, hands, and whole body to achieve proper form for playing any style of guitar. I was a couple of weeks into this training, using a very fine Whitebook dreadnaught guitar, and making slow but steady progress, when a friend suggested I take a look at Zager guitars.

I spent quite a bit of time on the Zager site reading the promo verbiage and reviews, and looking at all the photos. In my mind, I was holding onto quite a bit of skepticism. Zager makes a lot of promises about their products and service, some of which are a bit of a challenge to believe, especially given the relatively low prices of their guitars.

The "Easy Play" moniker, and all the talk about playability, the string spacing, low-profile neck design, low action, etc. was attractive to me in my situation, so I decided to take a chance and order the ZAD900CE model. I was relying on the money-back, shipping paid guarantee to assuage my buying fears. ("Buy a $2,000+ guitar without even holding and playing it? Are you frigging crazy?")

My first big surprise was that the box arrived in just a few days, much quicker than I expected. The guitar was well protected in its case and outer box, and when I opened the case it almost took my breath away. It is every bit as beautiful as it appeared on the website. I expected minor flaws in the inlays, the finish, and other details, compared to the expensive guitars I've played and owned, but I have to say, the craftsmanship is virtually flawless.

I immediately felt comfortable with the neck and action, and really love the satin finish on the neck. And another big surprise to me is the volume and tone - this thing is loud! The tone is bright and round, and I like it a lot.

In summation, Zager makes a lot of big promises, and I'm totally blown away by the extent to which those promises are fulfilled, and then some. I'm thrilled with this guitar!

"I bought my Zager early in 2020. I prefer it to my Yamahas and my Martin. Plays easier and sweeter; set up out of the box. I like everything about it and so do those I've let try it out.
I had a little issue with the tuner/preamp seemingly dead all of a sudden. Dennis JR. got back to me immediately and inspired me to check the battery placement. Yep; it was not quite shoved in far enough. Instant fix! Took me a few minutes between finding the problem and getting personal help with it! Who does that!"

I’ve looked at many guitars of all makes and none compare to the ZAD. The bass tones are especially sweet. I lowered the strings a little with the key and got them in a sweet spot that’s really easy to play. The beautiful darker color of the cedar is also my favorite.
