"The order itself went well and received the product OK, however ZZF failed to honor the advertised rebate. Rebate is administered by outside organization, I called them no problem and they said "ZZF has not authorized this claim, we have all the info and documentation necessary from you, we suggest you contact ZZF"

Well, I have left 3 voice messages and send several emails to ZZF customer service and have not heard back. Their CS is unreachable by phone, you instantly get "all agents are assisting other customers, please leave a message" and there is no option to wait to speak to someone. overall the worst customer service I have ever encountered simply because I cannot even speak with someone at the company. I will never order from ZZF again.

"I SUSPECT ZIPZOOMFLY IS ABOUT TO GO UNDER. I have purchased from them before and been happy. However, in March I purchased a WD 2TB drive because of the rebate. Now its October I don't have the rebate, can't get a response, and from what I'm reading here, probably won't. How can you go from an 8.24 lifetime rating to a 4.62 6 month rating??? RUN AWAY... RUN AWAY..."

"LOW SCORES ARE APPROPRIATE. AVOID REBATES. I have waited 5 months for a rebate that was accepted and never sent. Customer service claims that instead a credit was put on my credit card and that is simply their way of deflecting blame. Many, many similar reviews indicate a clear pattern of deceptive trade practices. Customer service was worse than poor. Will never waste time doing business with this company again. "

"I submitted a rebate that was approved by the rebate company handling the rebate verification for ZipZoomfly. The rebate company told me my $10 rebate was all in order and they were waiting for ZipZoomfly to approve the rebate so they could send out the $10. This rebate was submitted in May 2010. It is now October 2010 and after calling and leaving a message (ZipZoomfly does not answer their phone) and emailing them to address this issue, ZipZoomfly does not respond.

"Thieves! Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Never answered the phone and never called back.
Sent me a laptop hard drive loose in a box. The drive rattled around all the way from California to Indiana. They never answered the phone, never called back after the several messages I left. Finally got an RMA via email and then they charged me a restocking fee. Total crooks. Rumors are they are in financial trouble. I hope they go out of business soon and stop ripping off unsuspecting customers. STAY AWAY!

"REBATE ISSUE!!! Product, HITACHI Travelstar 5K500.B, delivered quickly and works fine. Rebate submitted: MARCH 9, 2010. Complained to ZipZoomFly a couple of months ago; apology, but no satisfaction. Week ago called rebate co. (1-***-***-****) & left message - no call back. Today sent complaint email (cc to ZipZoomFly) to rebate co. at ****@****; email returned with undeliverable message "Sorry, that recipient does not exist" Stay away FROM ZipZoomFly rebates, their "bargains" may not be!!!"

"I bought a product ASUS USB-BT21 USB 2.0 Mini Bluetooth Dongle Retail which was eligible for $8 mail in rebate. I filled and mailed out the form within timely manner.When the 8-10 week period passed. I called the rebate company for the rebate status. They repeatedly claimed the rebate was already received and processed but still waiting for approval from zipzoomfly. So I called and left a message also emailed to zipzoomfly. They did not contact me back. It's been over 21 weeks. I still have not received the rebate.

I suggest anyone who is having a similar problem of getting their rebate to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, your state attorney general or the local Better Business Bureau.

Note.
-I wrote this complaint for a rebate claim purpose only which is zipzoomfly direct responsibility. The product I bought work fine.
-I've already filed a complaint with BBB on 09/16/00. it's been a slow process because most of the time zipzoomfly took quite long to response.

"I placed my order on April 11 for a PowerColor 5850 graphics card. They emailed me on April 14 (3 days later) and told me that their item was back ordered. I call their customer service and asked for an update on when they would be getting a new shipment of video cards. I was told that they did not know when a new batch was coming in. I ended up changing my order to the same card from another manufacturer, but had to pay $60 more than my previous back ordered product. Not very satisfied."

"I have bought Corsair notebook memory with $15 rebate. Memory is OK, rebate is not. Per instruction I mailed UPC, printed copy of reciept and the rebate form. After waiting for 6 months without any news, I called rebate center. They are missing invoice! Instructions say "copy of receipt or invoice". Anyway, now I have to search for the invoice and hope that they will honor the rebate deal. Very disappointed!"

"Never buy a thing from them again!! They are one of the worst online retailer. I ordered a WD Harddrive back in March, First, It came in DOA... secondly, I never got the rebate! I Mailed in the rebate form and everything right after I got the drive. Check online status, everything was fine. NOW,4 months later it's till showing "being processed" I call the Rebate Tracking Dept 1-***-***-****. The assistant told me everything is fine and ZIPZOOMFLY is the one who holding up my rebate, and ask me to check a week later. Call after a week, same result! So I decided to call ZIPZOOMFLY myself. MAN! The customer service really got attitude! She was just trying to get me off the phone asap, said she'd send me an e-mail after she look into my rebate status. Slammed the phone when I was half way saying "Thank you, bye". My advise - Don't buy from them unless you like to be rip-off and be treated like Shxt! I'm not the only one telling you that! See other comments"

"Ordered a hard drive from Zipzoomfly based on their bottom line price, including a rebate. I've been monitoring the rebate status on their fullfillment company, status-now.com. Since mid-April it has been in "processing" status. Finally, in early July, I called status-now.com who indicated they were waiting on a confirmation from Zipzoomfly. On 7/19/10, I called ZZF and spoke with Jennifer. Despite having all the information she needed, she said she would have to call me back. Needless to say, I did not sit by the phone. On 7/29/10, I called ZZF again and spoke with Laurel. Same story--I'll get back to you.

I called status-now again and asked if they would make a request for confirmation of my purchase. According to her, they send a listing of rebate applications to ZZF each week for confirmation. She also stated that last weeks confirmations that they received were for January!!!

Bottom line is that if you are making a puchase from them based on price, with reliance on a rebate, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.

"Have been waiting four months for a $15 rebate on a Western Digital hard drive. Today I called to check on the status since the online site showed error messages and was told that some other company was now handling the rebates. I was given a telephone number to call which was not toll free. Beware, I think they are in financial difficulty. They have lost me as a future customer."
