"I ordered a motherboard and memory.

The driver CD that came with the motherboard was unreadable. I emailed for a replacement, and got no reply. I phoned them three times, but had to leave a voice-mail each time. I did not get any replies.

The only thing left is to contest the charge with the credit-card company.

"I ordered a Coolermaster RC-330-KKN1 case because the price was 1/2 the cost of the online store I usually purchase from and shipping was free. If you go by their published timetable for shipping and delivery, all was as expected. I ordered the case from ZZF on 5-28 and the rest of the components from Newegg on 5-30 for a new computer build. The parts from Newegg were shipped on the 31st and arrived on 6-1, one day later for $10.21 s/h. The case from ZZF arrived as expected on 6-5, 7 days later. The box that held the case was resealed and the plastic cover was not taped. A large hole in the box, but no damage inside. This was a test order and ZZF lost and Newegg was eggceptional as always."

"The persona who mentioned that current rating doesn't justify must have been very lucky. If you notice the pattern, ZZF has been going down the hill real fast in term of rating. I thought zzf wasn't that bad till my latest order. To be fair, the company itself isn't that bad in terms of price. But don't expect much in terms of customer service though if anything goes wrong. Granted there are far worse out companies out there, there are better ones too. I think I am going to stick with Newegg. After all ZZF pricing isn't that much better and you certainly can't buy better customer service than Newegg at this point. "

Very bad experience. Taking two weeks to receive the item.
Ordered a Corsair 2GB 133X SD card on 4/1/2006. Was told on 4/4/2006 that the item had been shipped. But the actual shipping date is 4/11/2006.
The reason was that the item was backordered. But they should inform me that it's back ordered rather than giving me a tracking number and saying that it had been shipped. It's kind of cheating. I wrote this review so late because I just experienced the same situation again a few days ago.
Don't recommend to anyone.

Same situation again. Very very bad experience. Taking 16 days to receive the item.
Ordered a Corsair 1GB Laptop Memory on 5/14. Was told on 5/15 that the item had been shipped with a tracking number. But the actual shipping date turned out to be 5/23!!! And I received it on 30th, which is 16 days long!!!
Keep away from ZZF!

"I have spent over $1,000 at ZZF and have had about 10 total purchases or so. I am just now writing a review because the 6 month rating on ResellerRatings just doesn't do this company justice.

My latest purchase was for a 2900XT. It was a brand new product that they just got on stock and I ordered it on a weekend with overnight shipping (which was very cheap, about $16 to overnight a heavy product through fedex). The video card shipped Monday morning and I got it on Tuesday morning.

ZZF doesn't always update their shipping information right away, but you can track by reference on fedex's website using your order number which comes in handy. All of my orders have except one have shipped by the next day and arrived quickly.

Almost all items are free fedex shipping or $2.99 for 2day fedex shipping which just can't be beat when the rest of their prices are competitive.

Their customer support is pretty weak. Most of the time you leave a message on a phone system and they call you back. It doesn't sound like their native language is english, but they can speak the language well enough that you can understand them. The only order that didn't ship next day was because they had a question about the shipping address and I had to talk to them on the phone first. This made me mad because I paid for overnight shipping but I did get it the next day after finally reaching them on the phone.

While I agree that their customer support is somewhat weak, their prices, availability, shipping speed and price just can't be beat. I will continue to purchase from ZZF.
