"They sold us non-refundable tickets with an insurance that covers in case of trip cancellation. My aunt got severely injured in a car accident on the way to the airport. She is at the intensive care unit since 12 days. we obviously had to cancel our trip. but when i contacted them they told me thhe tickets were non-refundable. i had to tell them we paid for a cancellation insurance. and they said it doesn't work because they sold us non-refundable tickets with this cancellation insurance. we are now loosing 2300$. they tickets werent event the cheapest one with this scam insurance of 200$ and some extra fee that i have no idea what it is. "
"So here's my experience with ASAP. I decided to call them and work with an agent for a first time, as I usually find the tickets myself.
I was working with Zoro.
I explained what I was looking for and what I needed. I told him the most important thing for me is to have a luggage included in the price, as I was flying from USA to Europe and I had a big suitcase. This is where it gets interesting. Zoro found me a roudway ticket with 2 different airlines and confirmed that I had everything included in the price he gave me.
I was very happy and I even tipped him good. I bought my ticket in the begining of April, and my flight was for August 8th.
I tried to check-in online the morning of my departure and the system told me I have to pay an extra fee of $75 for my suitcase, which I was very suprised by, since I thought I had that included already. So I called ASAP and I was looking to speak with my agent. They told me he quit, so I got to talk to another person. I explained what happened and I wanted them to do something about it, as I was being lied to and I just found out right before my flight. THEN this other agent ALSO confirmed I had my luggage included in the price I paid and he told me that the $75 is for an extra big luggage. I was on the phone with him for almost an hour.
I went straight to the airport to get my bags checked in and they told me I actually DO NOT have my luggage included, so I have to pay both ways $75 fee. Since I did not have a choice then - I did!
I REALLY hope I will be reimbursed for the money I spent for something I was reassured and yet LIED to that I have for the price I paid.
I will never work with those people again. + They barely speak any English! I am beyond dissapointed!"
