"DO NOT BUY!!!! COMPLETE SCAM AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I bought a canon 5d mark iii body only at their promotional price of $2850. They called the next day to confirm and asked if I wanted the USA kit for $500 more. I didn't want a grey market camera so I agreed. The camera came in a kit camera box (body + lens box) and apparently the USA kit was only for the USA made camera strap and battery charger. I called the next day to return it, as it was never used and still brand new. They told me they'd charge me a $500 restocking fee!!! But the camera was never used and it was opened to see what was inside. They were the ones who initially opened the box to take out the kit lens! Highly suspicious. I didn't want to get charged the $500 restocking fee so they offered a camera bag, tripod, and memory card. At the spur of the moment, I agreed. I then attempted to call back to cancel and still want to return the item. But no one answered. I called back multiple times and even emailed them. They never responded to my emails and finally I told my gf to call back today to get a return authorization number. The rep hung her up!

UPDATE: BPP called back and provided great customer service and resolved the problem efficiently. They ended up providing the accessories free of charge and offered the camera at promotional price. I'm satisfied with the result and will buy again.

"Camera arrived within a few days, and was brand new, excellent shape. Price + shipping was much lower than even Amazon. They called me the next day to offer a 2nd battery, when I declined they were cool with it and not high pressure at all. I would recommend this company, and would buy from them again. "

"Hello friends,

Before I received my T3i thru FedEx(On 25-Aug12), I was reading many reviews, few of them are scary. like.... 1) website is fraud 2) products are not shipped 3) CC is misused 4) Customer service is too bad 5) Products are fake 6) FedEx tracking number is fake etc... But my experience is very different with them.

- They promptly gave right tracking number
- Shipment is overnight (Shipped on 24th Aug and received on 25th Aug
- Customer service is not too bad, but I can see lake of expertise in answering customers' questions.
-T3i is delivered as I shopped (no difference in product)

I recommend this website for purchase if you find best prices.

"Jeffrey and all the guys at BPP are great! I got my order just in time for my girlfriends birthday! When I had a small problem I called Jeffrey in Customer Service and he very politely and very quickly resolved my issue and even compensated me additionally just simply for having to call! I work in service and realize it can be difficult to maintain such a cheerful attitude on the phone all day long, its nice to see companies still working towards this goal!"

"I had the privilege of working with Mickey Burke. Mickey was very professional and his service is 2nd to none. I say this because I order frequently online, but many times have to wait for answers and get offers from account representatives that are of no value to me. Mickey on the other hand was very professional and expedient. He told me what I needed to know, and answered my questions knowledgeably and quickly. Ill be shopping with BPP now for all my digital needs.

"After an initial issue with Best Price Photo I got a call from Reggie in customer service. Reggie was fantastic to work with. He addressed the issue directly and apologized profusely for the oversight and worked with us to rectify the problem. The resolution he offered was very satisfactory to us. I wish that all customer service departments were this responsive to their customers. If anyone has any issues on purchases from Best Price Photo I recommend contacting Reggie directly at x501 to discuss. He will make it right.

I would buy from Best Price Photo again based on the customer responsiveness offered by Reggie.

"Second transaction of mid-range equipment (lenses and bodies) with these guys, and second time everything has been just fine. Lens as promised, quick shipping. I've read many reviews one way or the other, and I can say they have been perfect thus far and I appreciate it.

I'll add, I'm a US citizen living in SE Asia temporarily, and getting equipment locally is tough. BPP has helped me out a lot, and has also always checked to make sure any charges were legitimate with phone calls. Comforting. I understand trends to shop locally and keep business close to home, however, if price is an issue and distance or a need for shopping via the Internet, they are good(as far as I can tell).

"I ordered a camera on July 30th and was guaranteed shipment by August 7th by someone called Mickey. It never arrived. When I called someone named Reggie said that it had shipped and would arrive by Thursday the 9th, which is today. I just got an email from customer service saying the camera has SHIPPED today along with a fedex tracking number that is invalid when it's entered on the fed ex site. So I called Best Price Photo, again, and asked to speak to Reggie. A man answered at x301 and transferred my call, but then after 10 minutes of waiting it hung up on me. When I called back again I got an automated message saying they are closed and to try during normal business hours but it is 3pm here (5pm) there on a Thursday and they are supposed to be open until 7pm. Next, I called Fed Ex and gave them the tracking number. It is definitely not in their system and he told me to contact the business right away and tell them that it is a fake tracking number. I would love to contact the business but they have mysteriously disappeared. Meanwhile, we are supposed to leave on vacation in the morning...I see that someone from Best Price Photo has responded to others with similar bad experiences on here so this is not a new problem.
UPDATE: The tracking number has been activated on the Fed Ex site. It's for an overnight delivery and is supposed to arrive tomorrow (on the 10th). It looks like the person I talked to yesterday tried to fix the late shipment, but I would have appreciated it even more if he had just been honest that it hadn't left yet instead. Now our vacation is on hold for a package that may or may not arrive. Not. Good. I just called FedEx and they say it was picked up today and is shipping overnight...will be here by 3pm tomorrow for sure. I guess I can live with that, but I wish customer service had been honest with me yesterday and said it hadn't shipped yet instead of scrambling to try to get it here on time by shipping overnight. Don't mislead your customers, please!
