"On Saturday, September 15, 2012, I placed an order for what I thought was a brand new American Panasonic GX1X camera. I selected 3-day shipping so I could get the camera before the weekend. The next day, I received a phone call from Best Price Photo stating that the camera I ordered was a grey market camera and offered me an upgrade to the American camera with an extra battery. Though I had my reservations about the whole bait and switch deal, I reluctantly accepted the upgradr as it was still cheaper.

I was then informed that September 17th and 18th was a holiday so would receive the camera Monday, September 24. I had to call twice to get an order status and was then told that my camera would arrive Tuesday, September 25. It turned out the camera was not shipped until Monday, September 24, but was overnighted to me.

When I opened the package, I was surprised to find a grey market box. Upon closer examination , it appears that the camera was actually a used camera. Also, the extra battery which was part of the package wss not included. After waiting 9 days from when I placed my order, I was left with one of the most disappointing online shopping experiences in recent memory.

I attempted to call today, September 26, to resolve the issue, but they closed early. I will call again tomorrow."

I ordered online and received a callback withing the hour. Added some additional items and was promised delivery in a week.

Called the day before the delivery date; no tracking number was sent. Was promised a new order would be shipped overnight for delivery the next day, verified with 2 separate customer service reps.

No shipment on the expected delivery date. No updates, no calls.

Got the original shipment yesteday, 12 days after the order was placed and 5 days after the promised delivery date.

So the bottom line is I lost a photo opportunity because of a late shipment and no customer service, which makes the lense cost much more than the price paid.

Never will use BestPricePhoto again."

"Be wary when purchasing from BestPricePhoto. I recently purchased a very expensive camera (Canon) from them. After owning for just 3 months, it had been determined the camera had a bad sensor. I spent over 45 minutes on hold trying to reach someone in customer service, but nobody ever answered. Truly a disappointing experience after spending more than $2,000 with them. If you are concerned about post-sale support (and you should be) I would not recommend BestPricePhoto."

"My order took week and a half to ship and it shipped only after I reminded them twice. They were not completely forthright about the status. Once I received the order (D7000 body only) I found that it was an open box item (even though i had ordered a new one). It came in a box which was not the D7000 body only box, it did not come with any manual or warranty card. I believe this product is gray market (not for sale in US) even though they advertise this as brand new with US warranty. I have filed a dispute with by CC processor since I did not get the product that was advertised and sold to me.

Jeffry from BPP called me next day and wanted to work with me to resolve this issue. He mentioned that this product was indeed gray market (even though the webpage is very misleading) and since I was not aware of this he was willing to refund fully and send me a pre-paid fedex shipping label. I give A+ for customer service, jeffry was very responsive and seems like will resolve the issue. I am willing to overlook this issue and give BPP benefit of doubt if they resolve my issue to my satisfaction. I will update as soon as I have more info."

"I was skeptical because Best Price Photo was substantially lower than other online stores. I read reviews and ordered my Canon T4i camera from them. They called me in a day to confirm my order making sure I was the one ordering the camera. I missed the call and called them back, which they immediately answered the phone without a bunch of menu crap. My camera arrived earlier than expected and it was perfect, exactly what I had ordered.
