"I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone that values customer service. Saving a penny or two was not worth this horror story. I can understand where some reviews are positive. But similar to the negative one, I had a horrible experience and will shop elsewhere in the future. I made what I thought would be a simple and smooth order and received a call a couple days later from a salesmen pushing me to get the extended life battery. I even mentioned to him that I did not see it online or else I would have gotten it originally, so I went for it. Sure enough, the order arrived much later than expected, and with no extended life battery. There was a cheap handwritten scribble stating the letters "b.o.", for what I had to assume was backordered. A week later, nothing. Three weeks worth of phone calls to customer service, after their repeated "Yes, we'll email a confirmation..."; I never received anything. Finally after a conversation, I was getting the battery that I order and cost ~$25 more. I look at the email, and it said nothing about an extended life battery. I respond with that question and the response confirms I will be receiving the extended life battery. Package delivered and with little to no surprise, a standard battery. I call and was fussed at that I must be crazy and they only sell one battery and it's not an extended life. I have two receipts. My original, and the one I was charged additional money for a bigger battery. So now I have an email tell me to mail back the battery, when all I want is my money back and nothing more to do with this company...ever....again. And I repeat, I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone that values customer service. Saving a penny or two was not worth this horror story. And to add, I just now received an email stating "Our company cannot offer a full refund, however a partial refund of $25 to keep can be issued." I said sure, anything to be done with this company. I promise to everyone, shopping elsewhere is worth it. The time and energy I spent on this, cost me more than I could have saved. And that's a fair and honest statement."
"Purchased a Canon Lens on March 2012, sold as brand new, unopened original warranty, no-gray market item, purchased through Canon USA. Talked over the phone with "Mickey" to make sure all stated was true and item was in stock.
Item delivered but initially we had a problem with the purchase: the model sent was a discontinued model and I had to get in touch with their customer service.
The customer service agent was not helpful, but down the line I discussed the issue with Simon Walker, their supervisor who realized the misunderstanding and offered me several options including a full refund with free postage of the item and no ancillary fees (re-stocking etc...) or a discount on the product I had at home. Since I had used the lens already I choose the discount option.
Fair and square, they were helpful..."

I ordered Canon T3i with 18-55 lens KIT on last PST evening on 16th March 2012 (Friday) since they were the lowest on price - $663. I was bit hesitant initially but there were some good reviews so went ahead. I got a mail from Mickey on 19th to call them and confirm the order. He offered extra battery which I refused. He didn't try to upsale me anything. The only thing which raised by eyebrow was when he said any shipping address other than credit card billing address. He said, I have to call the credit card company and register the additional address. I have never seen / heard of this process anytime. Anyway, this case was not applicable for me, so I did not bother about it. The camera was shipped on 20th March and I got it in Sunnyvale, CA on 27th via Fed-ex. The camera was in the original box.. which looked like never opened (or maybe once), but camera was in the bubble wraps, never opened. All other components were also as if originally packed, never opened. I could easily register the product on Canon site as well. They also sent a free gift which has a carry bag and small tripod.
Hassle free and good service, lowest rate and most importantly genuine product.

As soon as I gave the above review, they called me up and thanked me. They also sent me an additional Vivitar battery for my T3i. In future, I would definitely do business with these guys and recommend them."

"What a bunch of crooks. First, unlike what they claim on this site, they absolutely DO charge your credit card right away. Then you get the the "Sent Out To Be Drop Shipped" nonsense which really means they will give you some crap excuse that it is "backordered". Many phone calls and lies later, you end up being nothing but frustrated. My second to last call was "it's being packaged and shipped out overnight. You'll get the tracking number by end of day". End of day comes - no tracking number. Follow-up phone call I am fed another line of garbage "vendor didn't have enough so they have cancelled your order". Really? How the heck did that happen in less than 24 hours with no notification or anything else? Meanwhile, I have wasted three weeks with these crooks. Do NOT order from them and ignore the bogus positive reviews on this site.

So they responded with complete nonsense. I am not a reseller... I am a customer who was lied to repeatedly. Yes item was back ordered, but then I was told it was in and being shipped. Then it isn't shipped but suddenly cancelled. Guess I was too much of a pain for them to deal with!

Mentioned backorder would be 1-2 weeks - latest April 5th. Then when calling for an update, told it would be in on March 28th and shipped overnight. Why would I now suddenly start to believe that the April 5th date would be right? And so what if I called repeatedly about an update? Did you not notice that you TOOK MY MONEY but never shipped the product??"

"I purchased a camera from Bestpricephoto, and a few days after I was contacted if I had FORGOTTEN to purchase a battery, They did not ship my order till five days later. They wanted to sell me an Extra battery which I told them I did not need. They replied "Is there any reason I don't want it" When I told them I didn't need it, again they repeated the same question. Then asked "Was it the price of the battery the reason I didn't want it." I wrote them an email stating what had happened and would never use their company in the future again. and no reply. I had received my camera with a paper inside prompting me to come here to do a survey and If I leave a positive feedback I get a free gift for my camera..(which they can stick) They tell you to call them after you post your review to verify a promo code. leaving a 3 star rating or less would bring their ratings down and would hurt their sales and productivity.They also state in the letter that we could contact them a week from now or a year, they are here to always assist in any way possible and are eager to be there... My email was not even acknowledged.
Update* The response to my original review. They claimed "Our sales rep did offer bonus accessories at a discounted price which you had refused" That is a COMPLETE LIE. I was never offered discount prices just questioned if the battery they were trying to push on me was too expensive. They also said "We processed the order immediately and delivered two days after online submission" AGAIN UNTRUE. I placed my order on the 24th and didn't get conformation on my billing until the 27th and received the camera on the 29th. Their comments here; "Some customers are never satisfied and that's ok..." If they had actually read what I had posted and not attempted to discredit me, they would see that I am satisfied with the product NOT poor customer service, lies and shady sales tactics."
