"Woke up Sunday AM to no hot water. Called 888# & a tech was dispatched SAME DAY. Tech arrived within 3 hours & determined the gas valve system in the hot water heater was defective. Said it would be 3-5 days & he would order the part. I called Monday & explained to the CSR that we really needed hot water before 3-5 days and could she please help. After a short hold, she said she could get the part and would Tuesday be OK? This was great and I agreed. Tuesday around noon, a delivery man appeared with a Fed EX package and said to call the 888 # to schedule the tech. We called and an hour later the tech appeared. Andrew was great!! He explained what he was doing and cleaned up the minor soot that came from the heater. In & out in a little over an hour.! GREAT SERVICE FROM CSR PERSONNEL & BOTH TECHNICIANS!! Very happy with BGE HOME!! Very glad we have service policies on all our major appliances with BGE HOME!!"
